Forbidden
- Disassembly and modification is prohibited.
- Discontinue use if the power cable is frayed or damaged.
- Should an abnormal condition occur such as smoking, abnormal smell, or noise, turn off the power immediately and disconnect the power cable from the AC outlet. When internal inspection or repair is needed, contact the selling agent or Henkel.
Warning
- Disassembly and modification is prohibited.
- Make sure that the power voltage in use complies with specifications.
- Disconnect the power supply after finishing work.
- Please hold the power plug when unplugging the power cable.
- Do not allow liquid to enter the equipment.
- Disconnect the power supply before cleaning the equipment. Do not use an organic solvent to clean the cabinet.
- In case of an abnormal condition, stop using the equipment immediately.
Out of Box Inspection
Open Loctite® CL10 Single LED Controller package carefully and check if any components were damaged during shipment. Please inform the carrier if damage has occurred. Any claims for shipping damage must be made to the carrier and inform the supplier immediately.

Overview
Loctite® CL10 Single LED Controller is a UV light source that emits a spot of light at a wavelength of 365 or 405nm for use in adhesive Light Cure bonding applications.
Advantage:
- Over 20,000 working hours.
- No IR emission resulting in low-temperature curing. Will not damage parts due to heat emission.
- Up to 90% energy savings, compared with mercury arc lamps.
- Small, LED head for handheld or fixed fixture applications.
- Footswitch actuated or PLC remote control.
- Timed mode or manual cycling.
- Low maintenance cost.

Installation
Please check the unit for any mechanical defects. If there is any shipping damage do not install or use the equipment and immediately contact the shipping company and supplier.

Caution
- To prevent heat damage, set the unit horizontally on a level surface. Failure to position the unit properly may cause damage.
- Avoid placing next to high voltage equipment or next to a heat source.
- Make sure nothing is placed on the power cable.
Installation Flow

Place the controller horizontally on a level surface.

Connect the power cable to the controller using supplied power cable.

There is one LED head connector labeled
under the power button, connect the LED head to .
Caution: Depress the power switch to turn on the LED head, press again to turn it off. When using a PLC or extension cable, 0V means the LED head is working. -

Warning
- Please place this equipment in a stable space.
- Avoid placing next to high voltage machinery.
- Please do not block ventilation holes.
- Do not expose to flammable gas.
- Do not use it in high temperatures or extreme cold.
- To avoid electric shock, disconnect the equipment from the electrical supply before servicing.
Caution
- To avoid button damage, do not press buttons with high force.
- Prevent metallic foreign matter from entering the LED head connector, may cause short, damage and fire.
- Don’t connect any non-LED head cable to the connector; it may cause errors and damage.
Starting Controller
After finishing the installation, plug in the power cable, then press. The red LED Power light inside the button will turn on when the unit is powered.
Working Mode
If the LED head is plugged in, the controller will automatically enter Working Mode.
Caution
All settings should be adjusted in working mode!
Parameter Setting
Intensity Setting
- Enter working mode.
- Press and hold up button to set intensity. (Intensity data will flash when the up button is released).
- Press the up button or down button to adjust intensity.
- Press twice to confirm and save.
Time Setting
- Enter working mode.
- Press and hold down the button to edit time. (Time data will be flashing).
- Press the up button or down button to change the intensity value.
- Press to confirm and move to the next unit.
- Press twice to confirm and save when finished with the last unit’s setting.
Working mode setting
In Working Mode, you can switch Manual/Timer mode by holding the button.
In Timed Mode, the set time will be displayed. In manual mode, “of” will be
displayed under Time S.
Working Temperature
Press once while in working mode to show the temperature of the LED.
Caution
- When both Intensity and Time data are flashing, pressing either arrow button will allow either the intensity or time to be changed depending on which arrow is pressed.
- Footswitch will only function in working mode.
- The controller will enter working mode automatically if the unit is left idle in setting mode for 60 seconds.
LED Head Unit and Foot Switch
- Please measure and define working distance properly before using an LED head.
- Don’t touch the LED tip while in use. High temperature may cause injury.

WARRANTY
Henkel expressly warrants that all products referred to in this Instruction Manual for Loctite® CLIO Single LED Controller (hereafter called “Products”) shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship. Liability for Henkel shall be limited, as its option, to replacing those Products which are shown to be defective in either materials or workmanship or to credit the purchaser the amount of the purchase price thereof (plus freight and insurance charges paid therefore by the user). The purchaser’s sole and exclusive remedy for breach of warranty shall be such replacement or credit.
A claim of defect in materials or workmanship in any Products shall be allowed only when it is submitted in writing within one month after the discovery of the defect or after the time the defect should reasonably have been discovered and in any event, within (12) months after the delivery of the Products to the purchaser. This warranty does not apply to perishable items, such as (indicate items: fuses, filters, lights, etc.). No such claim shall be allowed in respect of products that have been neglected or improperly stored, transported, handled, installed, connected, operated, used, or maintained. In the event of unauthorized modification of the Products including, where products, parts, or attachments for use in connection with the Products are available from Henkel, the use of products, parts, or attachments which are not manufactured by Henkel, no claim shall be allowed.
No Products shall be returned to Henkel for any reason without prior written approval from Henkel. Products shall be returned freight prepaid, in accordance with instructions from Henkel.
NO WARRANTY IS EXTENDED TO ANY EQUIPMENT WHICH HAS BEEN ALTERED, MISUSED, NEGLECTED, OR DAMAGED BY ACCIDENT.
EXCEPT FOR THE EXPRESS WARRANTY CONTAINED IN THIS SECTION, HENKEL MAKES NO WARRANTY OF ANY KIND WHATSOEVER, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCTS.
ALL WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND OTHER WARRANTIES OF WHATEVER KIND (INCLUDING AGAINST PATENT OR TRADEMARK INFRINGEMENT) ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED BY HENKEL AND WAIVED BY THE PURCHASER.
THIS SECTION SETS FORTH EXCLUSIVELY ALL OF THE LIABILITY FOR HENKEL TO THE PURCHASER IN CONTRACT, IN TORT, OR OTHERWISE IN THE EVENT OF DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS.
