FAQ

  • Will the extended network be secure?

  • Yes. WiFi extenders offer the same levels of security as traditional WiFi routers (WEP, WPA, WPA2 etc), so don’t worry if it shows “unsecure” before setting up.

  • The maximum range can this repeater extend?

  • It can extend 2500 square feet theoretically when without any obstacle.

  • Can it increase my network speed?

  • Sorry, the extender is only used to extend the range of WiFi signal from your main router.
How can I enter the login page?

  • connect to the network iHAR-2G, launch your browser and enter 192.168.10.1 into the address field. Or you can connect the extender to your PC with an Ethernet port, then input 192.168.10.1 in your browser to enter the login page.

  • It extends WiFi signal but with lower speed? A: Please place in halfway between your router and the WiFi dead zone. And please note that all WiFi extenders have some speed loss, but our product has been engineered to optimize this technical issue and minimize loss. Moreover, if the maximum WiFi speed of your main router is 800Mbps, then the extended network provided by the extender will be less than or equal to BOOM bps due to technical limitations and obstacles like thick walls and furniture in your house.

  • No internet access after successful extension?

    • Check if the main router is working.
    • Confim1 whether the extension is successful. (Judge by the indicator lights on the extender)
    • Reset the extender and check if the password you entered for extended WiFi network during setup is correct. It should be the same as your router’s password.
  • I put in a wrong password, how should I reset the extender?

  • Use the pin provided in the packing box to insert the RESET hole for about 6 seconds till all lights are on again. And try method 1 to set up again.
