Quick Start Instruction Guide
To unpack your AllerAir unit, open the top of the box and remove the top foam piece locking the wheels in place. Gently turn the unit box ( with the air purifier inside ) upside down so that the open part of the box is against the floor. Lift the box up off the air purifier. The unit is now out of the box in its proper upright position. Plug it into a grounded 115V outlet and run it on HIGH for a few minutes before choosing the desired setting.
NOTE: Models Airmedic Pro 5/6 Plus / HD / Ultra require installation of
the filters since they shipped in separate boxes [Box #1 box contains the
unit, boxt #2 contains the filters]. Follow the instructions below to get your
unit up and running.
- Place the unit upside down, so that the wheels face up.
- Using a #2 Philips screwdriver, remove the four screws that hold the base onto the unit.
- Grab the wheels. Remove the base by pulling on the wheels. Locate the two gaskets inside the unit.
- Place one gasket inside the unit all the way at the bottom.
- Place the HEPA & Activated Carbon filters inside on top of the gasket.
- Place the secound gasket on top of the filters. Ensure it is centered with the filters.
- Using a #2 Philips screwdriver, install the four screws to hold the base onto the unit making sure the arrow on the sticker lines up with the unit’s rear seam.
- Flip the unit back in its upright position. Plug it in and run it on high for a few minutes then set it to your desired speed.
