Get started

  1. Download the NoiseAware app from app.noiseaware.io. or from the Apple Store® or Google Play store.

  2. Set up an Indoor Noise Sensor first, following the instructions in the app.
  3. Install any additional Indoor or Outdoor Noise Sensors in the app.

Indoor Noise Sensor installation

You will need

Log into the app and follow the on-screen steps to set up your NoiseAware Indoor Sensor.

WARNING: Risk of Electric Shock. Mount only to outlets that can be switched off by a circuit breaker. Use caution and disconnect power before installation or removal. Local regulations in  Canada prohibit securing this device to an outlet with a screw.
WARNING: When removing outlet cover screw, cover may fall across plug pins or outlet may become displaced. Use only with duplex outlets with a compatible screw and
secure the sensor in place with the included screw whenever possible.

Outdoor Noise Sensor installation

Log into the app and follow the on-screen steps to set up your NoiseAware Outdoor Sensor.

WARNING: Indoor Noise Sensors must be installed before Outdoor Noise Sensors! If there isn’t an Indoor Sensor online at the property, install one before proceeding with Outdoor Sensor setup.
WARNING: If the Outdoor Noise Sensor is not automatically detected during setup, it can be set up manually by entering the sensor’s MAC address. The MAC address is printed on a label
by the batteries as well as a separate label in the box.. Manual setup may take longer if the sensors have not yet successfully established a connection.

This device is not intended for use by children or by persons with reduced physical or mental capabilities unless supervised by a party responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised around the devices and should never play with them.
