PRODUCT USAGE
Before first use, clean all parts (see “Care and Cleaning” section).
ASSEMBLING THE BLENDING ARM
IMPORTANT: Always unplug the Hand Blender, before attaching or removing parts.
- Insert the Blending arm into the Motor body and twist until it clicks to lock in place.
- If using a Pan guard, place it on a flat surface. To insert the Pan guard, angle the blending arm to one side of the mounting clip. Then, gently pull the other mounting clip outward and push down the blending arm. Ensure the mounting clips are secured into place.
NOTE: U.S. patent-pending removable pan guard to help protect your cookware.
USING THE BLENDING ARM
Plug the Hand Blender into a grounded electrical outlet.
PRODUCT USAGE
Insert the Hand Blender into the mixture. Press the Variable speed controller
to start. Use your free hand to cover the top of the blending jar for better
stability and avoid splashing.
NOTE: Do not immerse Motor body into liquids or other mixtures.
Use the draw up motion with the Hand Blender to move the ingredients within the jar. Slowly draw it upwards against the side of the jar. Repeat the process until the ingredients are at the desired consistency.
With your wrist, make a circular motion to draw the Hand Blender up slightly and let it blend again into the ingredients. Release the Variable speed controller to stop; then remove Hand Blender from mixture. Unplug the Hand Blender before removing or attaching the parts.
NOTE: Chopper and Whisk accessories included with KitchenAid® Model KHBBV83 can be used on this model.
CARE AND CLEANING
IMPORTANT: Always unplug the Hand Blender before attaching or removing parts.
Dishwasher safe parts – top rack only: Blending jar, Lid, and Pan guard in the top rack. Wash the Blending arm in hot, soapy water. Wipe the Motor body with a damp cloth. Mild dish soap may be used, but do not use abrasive cleansers.
