Trail ARMOR Polaris PRO XP Mud Flap Fender Extension
To Install Rear Extensions
- Locate the factory screw from the lower front of the rocker panel. Remove and discard. See Picture 1.
- Locate the Trail Amor driver-side rear fender extension and one supplied -20 XN” thread-cutting screw. Holding the extension into position, install the thread cutter through the low or pre-drilled hole of the extension into the hole where the factory screw was previously removed Refer back to Picture 1
- Locate three supplied long push pins from the bolt pack. Woking from the front, insert one push pin into each of the next three holes See Picture 2.
- Locate four supplied M10 x” Phillips head screws and for 8-32 rectangular speed mits These will go into the remaining four holes. Align the extension tight against the tail light at the rear Starting with the hole doses to the push pins, insert one of the screws through the pre-drilled bole into the factory flare. Make sure the berd of the extension is pushed in tight against the factory flare. Once the screw is started, reach inside the factory flare and install the speed nut onto the threads of the crew. Be especially careful installing the speed mts while tightening the screw. DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN! While holding the extension against the tail light, repeat this procedure for the remaining three holes See Picture 3. Repeat Steps A-D for the opposite side
To Install Frent Extensdons:
- Locate the driver’s front extension. Also, locate the two OEM screws at the rear of the wheel woll. Remove the screws temporarily, Sec Picture 4. Holding the extension into position, re- iristall the factory series into the inside holes of the extension.
- Locate six supplied #10x Phillips head screws and six supplied 8-32 rectangular speed uts Align the extension with the factory flare and make sure the bend is pressed buck firmly against the flare See Picture 5, Starting with the hole closest to the top OEM screw, as the dome on the rear, insert one set ew and speed nut into each of the remaining holes going towards the front of the extension.
- Locate three supplied long push pins. There are three remaining holes in the extension at the rear Using a 9/32 drill bit, drill each hole through the factory wheel well and insert one long push pis into each of the holes See Pictured D. Repeat Steps E-F for the opposite side.
