Instructions
Front
A. Locate the driver’s side front fender extension. Notice the three
slotted holes at the lower portion of the fender extension. Place the three
slotted holes over the three OEM tabs on the fender flare. Push fender
extension inward so that the slotted holes are snug behind OEM tabs. See
Picture 1, Insert a supplied #10 x ‘1/4 Phillips fiat top screw into the
pre-drilled hole located near the OEM tabs See Picture 1. Be sure the
bends of the fender extension are pressed into place to fit the OEM flare
properly before installing the last seven screws detailed in Steps B and C
below.
B. Push fender extension tight into the upper bend of fender flare. Be sure inner edge of fender extension is flush with OEM fender flares inner edge. Insert supplied #10 x3/4 Phillips head screw and speed nut into the pre- drilled hole on the lower portion of the top bend. See Picture 2. Insert two supplied #10 x ‘1/4 Phillips head screws and one speed nut into the two lower pre-drilled holes. See Picture 3.
C. At the front pre-drilled hole of the fender extension near the
headlight, align the inner edges of both fender extension and OEM panel.
Insert #10 x 3/4- Phillips head screw into front hole and install speed nut.
See Picture 4. Next. install three #10 x %’ Phillips head screws and speed
nuts to finish installation of driver’s side front fender extension. See
Picture 5. Do not over tighten. Repeat other side.
Rear
A. To install the drivers side rear mud flap fender extension, remove the
two OEM push pins located inside of the lower portion of the OEM fender flare.
See Picture 6. After OEM push pins are removed, pull outward on the lower
portion of the flare (to ease installation) and install two supplied 1/4″-20
extruded u nuts over the OEM holes located behind the OEM fender flare. See
Picture 7. Locate the driver’s side metal mounting bracket (L). Holding the
bracket into place. insert two supplied 114-20 X 1 ton( truss machine screws
through the bracket and into the previously installed 114″-20 extruded u nuts.
Do not over tighten. See Picture 8.
B. Once the metal mounting bracket (L) is in place, install two supplied
1/4″-20 extruded u nuts onto the mounting bracket See Picture 9. Locate
the driver’s side rear fender extension While holding the fender extension
into position, insert two supplied 1/4-20 X 5/8 torx truss machine screws
through the two lower holes of the fender extension. See Picture 10.
Locate the pre-dnlled hole just below the first bend of the fender extension.
Make sure the inside edge of the Trail Armor fender extension is flush with
the edge of the OEM fender flare. Insert one supplied #10 X 3/4 phillips flat
top screw through this pre-dnlled hole into the OEM fender flare. Install one
supplied speed nut over screw end and tighten. Do not over tighten. See
Picture 11. Insert one supplied #10 X 3/4 phillips flat top screw into the
predrilled hole below the previously installed screw. Install one 8-32 speed
nut over screw end. See Picture 12.
C. Locate the pre-drilled hole just above the first bend of the fender
extension. Holding the edge of the fender extension flush with the OEM fender
flare (on the interior), insert four supplied #10 X 3/4 phillips flat top
screws through the pre-dnlled holes in the fender extension into the OEM
fender flare. Install four 8-32 suplied seed nuts over screw ends. Do not over
tithten. See Picture 13.
