This product was designed, fit and tested on new vehicle specifications. Any
damage, modifications or excessive wear to your vehicle may require
modification to the product and your vehicle to ensure proper fitment
To Install Bed Shield
- A. For easier access, remove pin from hydraulic cylinder bed lift. Tilt bed back against tires. Remove factory serews that secure bed side lip to the bottom of the bed. Retain-you will reuse. See picture 1.
- B. Remove the wire loom clamps on the driver side located closest to the tail lights in the rear crossbar of the bed. See picture 2. The mud shield will protect these wires. Hold the bed panel in place. Insert removed factory screws along the outer edge of the panel as shown in picture 1. Tighten but do not strip. Secure panel with the four supplied 4″ Phillips head screws. See Picture 3. If your vehicle is not equipped with the heat shield as shown below, contact your nearest Polaris dealer to purchase one. (PART # 5262966)
- C. Replace factory pin on hydraulic cylinder bed lift. Close bed.
To Install Fender Enclosures
- A. Locate the driver’s side fender enclosure. Hold in place and mark locations for two lower holes to drill the S/16 clearance hole for 4 -20 torx truss bolt to go into 4- 20 u-nut. Install a -20 u- nut on the three lower outside holes of the fender enclosure. See picture 4. There are two factory-drilled holes in the top of the vehicles plastic side panel. Insert panel with u-uts behind the factory side panel and align hole with u-nut. Secure with supplied -20 x 1″ tox truss bolts. Also reuse factory torx truss bolt in the top hole. See picture 5.
- B. Align the lower, straight side of the fender enclosure with the two holes on the inside of the frame rail. Secure with two 4x 20 x1 4 self-dnlling screws. See picture 6.
- C. Push the upper flap of the fender enclosure toward the front of the vehicle until it stops. Secure with 4 x 20 x 1 4 self-drilling screws. See picture 7.
- D. Repeat this procedure for the other side
