- Do not exceed the rated capacity stated.
- Use only on hard level surfaces.
- This item is to be used as a lifting device only. Immediately after lifting, support the vehicle with appropriate means.
- Do not move or dolly the vehicle while it is on the jack.

SETUP, OPERATION & PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE SETUP
****SETUP
- Prior to each use, visual inspection (See Pg.5) shall be made to the device by checking for abnormal conditions, such as cracked welds, damaged, loose, or missing parts.
- Consult the vehicle owner’s manual to determine the location of support points.
- Be sure to set the vehicle in park with the emergency brake on and wheels securely chocked.
- Be sure that the vehicle and bottle jack are on a hard, level surface.
****ASSEMBLY
Assemble jack handle securely. (Fig 1)
****LIFTING
-
urn release valve clockwise until firmly closed using narrow end of handle. (Fig 2)
-
Place jack under vehicle at proper lifting location. (Refer to vehicle owner’s manual.) Turn the extension screw on jack counterclockwise until it comes into contact with vehicle. (Fig 3)
-
Insert handle into pump socket and pump until desired height is reached. (Fig 4) Immediately support load with jack stands
****LOWERING
- Remove lift handle from pump socket and using narrow end of the handle to turn release valve slowly counterclockwise. Do not turn more than 2 full turns.
- When vehicle is fully lowered, remove jack. (If extension screw has been extended, turn extension screw until it retracts enough to safely remove jack).
**** MAINTENANCE
NOTICE:
Use high grade hydraulic oil only. Never use brake fluid, motor oil,
transmission fluid, turbine oil or any other fluids. ISO-VG22 or equivalent
hydraulic oil is recommended.
CHECK AND REFILL OIL:
- Place the jack in an upright position.
- Lower pump and piston to full down position
- Remove rubber oil plug on jack.
- Fill with good grade hydraulic oil only. (Fill to lower rim of oil fill hole.)
- Replace rubber oil plug.
- Lubricate pivoting joints and extension screw periodically for extended life.
Full replacement of oil is recommended every year for maximum life. To completely drain oil out of the system, follow step one above and then lay the jack on its side allowing the oil to drain into an appropriate container. Once completed, refill the oil reservoir as indicated in step two. Properly dispose of used oil.
LUBRICATION AND CLEANING
Periodically clean and lubricate all moving parts and pivot points. A
periodic light coating of lubricant to all moving parts will help prevent the
development of rust.
AIR VENTING PROCEDURES
Occasionally, air bubbles become trapped inside the jack, reducing its
efficiency. Bleed air out of the jack’s hydraulic system as follows: 1. Open
release valve, remove rubber oil plug. 2. Operate pump rapidly several times
to force air out. Some oil could splatter. 3. Close release valve, replace
rubber oil plug. Jack should now operate normally. If not, repeat purging
procedure as needed.
DAMAGED EQUIPMENT
Any jack that appears to be damaged in any way, is found to be worn, or
operates abnormally SHALL BE REMOVED FROM SERVICE UNTIL REPAIRED. It is
recommended that necessary repairs be made by a manufacturers or supplier’s
authorized repair facility if repairs are permitted by the manufacturer or
supplier.
ALTERATIONS
Because of potential hazards associated with this type of equipment, no
alterations shall be made to the product.
ATTACHMENTS AND ADAPTERS
Only attachments and/or adapters supplied by the manufacturer shall be
used.
INSPECTION, STORAGE & TROUBLESHOOTING INSPECTION
This device shall be inspected immediately if the device is believed to have been subjected to an abnormal load or shock. It is recommended that this inspection be made by a manufacturers or supplier’s authorized repair facility.
Owners and/or operators should be aware that repair of this equipment may require specialized knowledge and facilities. It is recommended that an annual inspection of the product be made by a manufacturers or supplier’s authorized repair facility and that any defective parts, decals, or safety labels or signs be replaced with manufacturers or supplier’s specified parts.
