Coca-Cola 79021680 Dispensing Equipment
INTRODUCTION
IMPORTANCE OF DAILY CLEAN
The cleanliness of your dispensing equipment is the key to serving perfect
soft drinks. It is your responsibility to maintain the user-serviceable parts
as per Coca-Cola European Partners’ instructions. The most important part of
this is valve hygiene.
It is vital to clean valves, nozzles and diffusers daily and to store
the Daily Cleaning Kit in the bar area.
INCREASED PROFIT
Consistently serving the highest quality will help reward you with:
- Increased customer satisfaction and repeat purchase
- Improved performance and economy from dispensing equipment
- Increased profit potential
LEGAL OBLIGATIONS
The law demands that drinks meet compositional and hygiene standards. The Food
Hygiene Regulations 2006 impose further obligations upon you regarding
cleaning and maintenance
procedures.
The Coca-Cola European Partners Daily Cleaning Kit will help ensure that you
and your drinks comply with these legally required standards.
- Daily cleaning is recommended. Ensure that you comply with your obligations under the Food Hygiene Regulations 2006
- Pay special attention to personal hygiene, clothing and the general cleanliness of the working environment
- Always wash hands before using the equipment
- Keep food preparation away from the dispensed drinks
- Taste the product regularly
- If you detect any problems with levels of dilution or carbonation, stop dispensing immediately
DAILY CLEANING ROUTINE -VALVES
DAILY CLEANING INSTRUCTION
Every dispense point needs to be cleaned DAILY. The below instructions must be
clearly followed to ensure you are serving a hygienic and quality drink.
Note: The valves installed in your account may vary from that shown in the
pictures – but the process remains the same.
For bar gun cleaning instructions please turn to page 5.
DAILY CLEANING ROUTINE – BAR GUN
The bar gun process is the same as that for valves with extra attention paid to the gun body and gun holder.
PRE-OPENING ROUTINE
Following some quick and easy steps every day before opening will ensure your
customers will receive a quality drink every time.
Firstly- Have you cleaned your post mix system? If not this daily clean must
be done before starting to serve
-
SYRUP
Check your syrup BIBs to ensure they are not empty and are within best before dates -
C02
Check your CO2 supply gauge. If at the bottom of the red segment, change the gas bottle as described on page 8 -
TEMPERATURE
Dispense a drink and check the temperature with a thermometer. It should be 5 °C or less -
TASTE
Taste the drink. Make sure the carbonation is good (the drink is fizzy) and the dilution is correct (it doesn’t taste weak or strong)
WEEKLY CHECK
Ensure the cooler and airflow is not obstructed
Refer to the maintenance routine/ troubleshooting guide if there are issues with any of the above
CHANGING THE CO2 CYLINDER
Bulk CO2 systems may vary
Regularly check condition of all hose connections for cuts, abrasions and
splits. Store full cylinders upright, in a secure place away from heat
sources. Always handle with care. If in doubt, call service provider.
The CO2 pressure regulator system is covered by current legislation. CCEP or
authorised CO2 suppliers must undertake periodic inspections of the
regulators on the customers behalf as required by this legislation.
CHANGING THE BAG-IN-BOX
- Always check’Best Before Date’ on boxes before connecting. Never use out of date stock.
- Use only genuine CCEP products from an authorised supplier.
- Always ensure that product lines are labelled clearly and connected to the correct BIB.
In the interest of diabetics, it is essential that products containing sugar are not mistakenly connected to the ‘Diet Coke’ line.
