What this medicine is for
This medicine contains soothing agents. It can be used to relieve irritating
dry, tickly, coughs and sore throats.
Before you take this medicine
X Do not take:
If you are allergic to any of the ingredients in this medicine You can take
this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Information about some of
the ingredients: This medicine contains 4.2 g of total sugars per 5 ml
spoonful. This should be taken into account if you have diabetes.
This medicine contains less than 1 mmol sodium (23 mg) per 5 ml, that is to
say essentially ‘sodium-free’. This medicine contains 10 mg of sodium benzoate
in each 5 ml which is equivalent to 2 mg /1 ml. Sodium benzoate may increase
jaundice (yellowing of the skin and eyes) in newborn babies (up to 4 weeks
old). This medicine contains glucose. This may be harmful to the teeth. If you
have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars,
contact your doctor before taking this medicine.
How to take this medicine
Check the seal is not broken before first use. If it is, do not take the
medicine.

Two 5 ml spoonfuls
Three or four times a day
Children 1 to 5 years
One 5 ml spoonful
Three or four times a day
This medicine should be swallowed.
Do not give to children under 1 year. Do not take more than the amount
recommended above. If symptoms do not go away talk to your doctor. If you take
too much: Talk to a pharmacist or doctor.
Possible side effects
Most people will not have problems. ! If you get any of these serious side
effects, stop taking the medicine. See a doctor at
once: Difficulty in breathing, swelling of the face, neck, tongue or throat
(severe allergic reactions)

How to store this medicine
Do not store above 25°C Keep all medicines out of the sight and reach of
children. Use by the date on the end flap of the carton or on the label edge.
Active ingredients
Each 5 ml of oral solution contains Glycerol 0.75 ml, Liquid Sugar 1.93 ml.
Also contains: liquid glucose, purified water, citric acid, sodium benzoate
