MICROWAVE COOKING

MANUAL COOK
To use the microwave function and manually program your cooking time and power level, follow these steps:

  1. Put food in a microwave-safe cooking container into oven.
    NOTE: See guide for materials to use/avoid on page 9 of the instruction manual. Do not use Airfry basket or pan in microwave mode.

  2. Select Microwave.

  3. Set and confirm cooking time.

  4. Set power level.

  5. Press Start.
    Note: Refer to recommendations and cooking charts on pages 12–15 of the instruction manual.

PRESETS
Preset Microwave functions are preprogrammed to cook many popular foods using professionally recommended power levels and cooking times.

  1. Press the button for the desired Preset function. The display will show the first option for that function.
    NOTE: Refer to the cooking guide inside the oven door for more details on the presets.

  2. Rotate the dial until the desired option appears on the display.

  3.  Once you have made your selection, press the Start button to begin cooking.
    NOTE: Refer to pages 12–13 of the instruction manual for more details on the presets.

  1. Put food in a proper cooking container into oven.
    NOTE: See the guide for materials to use/avoid on page 9 of the instruction manual.

  2. Select Oven/AirFry.

  3. Select and confirm the cooking temperature.

  4. Set the cooking time.

  5. Press Start.
    NOTE: Refer to recommendations and cooking charts on pages 10–11 of the instruction manual.

  2. Confirm or adjust the displayed temperature.

The turntable defaults to ON for Oven/AirFry functions; however, you can press the Turntable button to turn the turntable off if desired.

Operation

Why won’t my unit turn on?

| Make sure it is plugged into a functional outlet and that the oven door is closed.

Call Consumer Service at 1-800-726-0190.

Programming

| Can I change my cooking function or power level when the unit is operating?| No, refer to the instruction manual for details on how to reprogram your oven.
Can I change the time when the unit is already cooking?| Yes, simply turn the selector dial during cooking to add time.

Microwave Cooking

Why is my food not cooked evenly, undercooked or not fully defrosted?

| Make sure to use microwave-safe cookware only.

Cooking time or power level might have been incorrect; try adjusting these.

Try stirring or turning the food. Position food off-center.

Why is my food overcooked?| Cooking time or power level might have been incorrect; try adjusting these.

Why is there arching or sparking?

| Incorrect materials might have been used.

NOTE: Do not use airfryer accessories in microwave mode. The oven might have been operated while empty.

There might have been the remains of spilled food.

See the instruction manual page 18 for suggestions.

Oven/AirFry Cooking

Why is my food undercooked?

| You might have put too much food in the basket; try smaller batches and single layers or tossing food.

The cooking time or temperature might have been incorrect; try adjusting these.

Why is my food not crispy or fried evenly?

| Some foods may require more oil than others. Make sure food is spread evenly in a single layer. If there is overlap, toss or flip halfway through.

Put the food in for an additional cooking time.

Why does condensation and steam come out of my unit?

| Oil may leak into the pan from greasy foods and produce steam.

Foods with high moisture content cause condensation when the water evaporates.

The basket or pan may contain grease residue; clean these properly.

Cleaning

| Are the parts dishwasher safe?| Hand-wash accessories with warm, sudsy water.
How do I clean tough-to-remove food residue from my accessories?| Soak the accessories in hot, sudsy water and use a non-abrasive cleaner.
