OPERATION

AC Operation
Before operating the SBX030BTL, make sure that the voltage on the unit corresponds to the voltage of your local area. Unravel the AC Line Cord; insert one end into an AC socket on the unit and the other end into a standard AC outlet.

  1. In case of malfunction due to electrostatic discharge (ESD), reset the unit by reconnecting the AC cord again to resume to normal operation.
  2. When not in use, unplug the AC power cord from the AC power socket.

Battery Operation
Disconnect the AC Cord. Open the BATTERY compartment and insert 6 x “C” or UM2 batteries (not included) making sure that the battery polarity (+/-) is observed.
Remove the batteries if the unit will not be used for a long period of time.

Basic Operation

  1. Press the POWER ON/OFF BUTTON to turn on/off the unit.
  2. Adjust the sound level by rotating the VOLUME CONTROL KNOB.
  3. Extend the FM antenna only when listening to FM radio (for AM radio, a ferrite bar antenna is built into the unit.)

Remark: Every time you turn on the unit, it will switch to last playback mode you selected.

Listening to the radio

  1. Press the FUNCTION/LIGHT BUTTON to select
  2. FM radio. “F” show on the LED SCREEN.
  3. Press the FUNCTION/LIGHT BUTTON again to select AM radio. “A” show on the LED SCREEN. Turn the TUNING KNOB to your desired radio station.
  4. Fully extend and reorient the antenna to improve FM reception.
  5. Reorient the player itself to improve AM reception.

Playing a CD

  1. Open the CD DOOR, place a CD disc into the CD compartment and close the CD DOOR.
  2. Press the FUNCTION/LIGHT BUTTON to select CD play mode. It will start playback automatically.
  3. Control the CD playback using , ≤ and >
  4. Press and hold BUTTON to stop the CD playback. The total number of tracks show on the LED SCREEN.

When in CD play mode, every time you press the R/PG button, it will cycle through the following modes:

Repeat Mode and Random Mode

  1. Repeat 1:
    Press the R/PG BUTTON once, the Repeat Indicator “• “ will blink continuously on the LED SCREEN. This single track of music will be repeated.

  2. Repeat All:
    Press the R/PG BUTTON twice, the Repeat All Indicator “ •“ lshow on the LED SCREEN.
    The whole disc will be played continuously.

  3. Press the R/PG BUTTON three times, then press the FORWARD BUTTON or REWIND BUTTON. All  music will play in random order. This feature allows the track on the disc to be played in random order.

  4. Press the R/PG BUTTON four times, it will return to normal CD playback.

Program Mode

  1. During the stop mode, press the R/PG BUTTON once, the Indicator “ •” for the number of program to be memorized will blink continuously.

  2. Press the FORWARD or REWIND BUTTON to your desired track, the LED SCREEN will show the appropriate track number.
    Press the BUTTON again to store this track in memory.

  3. Repeat above procedure until all desired tracks have been programmed. A total of 20 tracks can be stored in memory.

  4. Press the PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON once to start the program playback and the Program Indicator “•” will show on the LED SCREEN.

  5. To check the program you have stored after complete programming.
    During stop mode, then press the FORWARD BUTTON once, the LED SCREEN will show the first programmed track number. Repeat above procedure to read all the programmed memory.

  6. Press and hold the R/PG BUTTON or open the CD DOOR to cancel the programmed memory.

Playing audio via Bluetooth

  1. Press the FUNCTION/LIGHT BUTTON to select Bluetooth mode. “BT” blinks continuously on the LED SCREEN, and the unit is now in pairing mode.
  2. Verify that the Bluetooth function of Bluetooth device is enabled.
  3. Choose the Bluetooth menu in your Bluetooth device, and from the found devices, select the “SBX030”. If you are prompted to enter the PIN code, please enter “0000” (four zeros).
  4. For more information, see the user manual of Bluetooth device.
  5. After a successful pairing, the “BT” will show on the LED SCREEN. Then play the music from the Bluetooth device.

Playing audio via USB port

  1. Press the FUNCTION/LIGHT BUTTON to select USB mode. The LED SCREEN shows “USB”.
  2. Insert a USB drive into the USB port, the total number of the folder(s) and then the track(s) show on the LED SCREEN. Then the first track will play automatically.
  3. All functions are operated same as CD playback.

Playing Other Audio Devices
The player features an AUX IN jack to facilitate playback from other audio devices (MP3 players, mobile phones, etc.) through 3.5mm plug aux cable.

  1. Insert a 3.5mm plug aux cable (included) into the AUX IN jack of the player.
  2. Press the FUNCTION/LIGHT BUTTON to select AUX mode. The LED Screen will show “AUH”.
  3. Turn the connected device on and follow the playback instructions found in its owner’s manual.

Party Light
Press and hold the FUNCTION/LIGHT BUTTON to turn on/off the party light.

Listening to the music by using headphone
A stereo headphone jack is provided for private listening.
To listen to the player with headphones (not included), insert the 3.5mm mini- stereo plug from the headphones into the HEADPHONE JACK. The external speakers are automatically disconnected when headphones are using.

BASIC WARRANTY STATEMENT

We warrant the product to the original purchaser ONLY, to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for ONE Year from date of the original purchase. We agree, at our option, under the warranty period, to replace the product if it is determined to be defective at no charge.
