Instructions

  1. Power on
    Instructions

  2. Plug USB flash drive

  3. Eject tray
    Instructions

  4. Place CD in the tray then close.

  5. Press to start
    (Long press more than 3 seconds then release to stop if you want to for some reasons. The CD tray will eject itself)

  6. On processing

Now, the CD music has been ripped and saved in USB flash drive, you can just save it for backup; Or you can play it at PC, Home Theater, Portable Speaker, Cat….etc.

Connection

  1. Play on mobile phone, let’ s see how to do: 1, Set your mobile phone’ s Wi-Fi connect to CDRip(password: 12345678)

  2. IN 10S:
    Download an App – FileExplorer (there are other Apps can use, such as VLC, or anyone can support SAMBA), here we just example can support SAMBA), here we just example FileExplorer:

  3. Run FileExplorer, click “+” , then choose “Windows”

  4. Chose CDRIP, Connect as “Guest”:

  5. Enter Medial—USB—CDrip—CD1(or CD2, CD3 •••)

  6. Now you can press one of the music lists to play:

  7. Or press:

You can download, or rename, or open with other player, or other functions.

  • IN ANDROID: There are also many App can be use, here we example with ES File Explorer: After download, run it, press .

  • Choose Network—LAN: Press ” Scan”,

  • When you see the result “CDRIP” stop scan:

  • Then enter Drip—USB—Medial —CDrip—CD1(OrCD2, CD3 •••)

  • You can choose one to rename or edit:

  • Or, press more to play, or move, or other perpose:

  • Finally, we can enjoy it now…. Oh-, one more thing:

We can see all the music been named as track1, track2•the CDs named as CD1, CD2••• Is there any chance to name them as their real name? Well, you can rename them manually by the FileExplorer mentioned above. And, there is a automatic way for some CDs:

After your phone’ s Wi—Fi connected to CDRip, run run internet explorer (Chrome, Safari..etc), type the address 43.44.45.46, then enter: Input Password: admin then press “Login”

First, we get the CDRip access to intemet by WiFi Press Network—Wireless:

Press Scan:

Choose your Wi-Fi and Join Network
Input Password (of your Wi-Fi) and press “Sutmite

Make sure the ESSID is same as your VViFi thenpress “Save&Apply”:

Note: be careful about the “space” at the end of your input, make sure no any space character in front of cursor, otherwise may connect failed (Essid wrong)

Make sure click this “ Save & Apply” button, NOT the -go- button of your mobile’ s input keyboard.

CDRip will restart network, after a few seconds, re-enter to the manager page (you may need reconnect CDRip WiFi).
Press Register—Register:

Press “Register” , after a few seconds, you can see tone! Register Successfully, or “already registered” Then register finished.

You can choose your Timezone, then “Sync with browser” to set your local time:

Ok, now we get the CD Rip connected to internet, and get registered, now we convert the CD again (by press convert button as step 5), we may rind the CD wit be automatically named:

And you may also find that not all of CDs can be automatically named, why? Because to automatically name the CD, the CDRipneed to search on the online Database to find the information of it, it can’ t name it if the CD is not in the Database)

Trouble Shooting

There is a LED indicator here, normally be green.

Sometimes, this LED show RED color when you press the converter button, and same time the all LEDs on top flash, means there is no USB flash drive and CD in the drive.

If the bottom 3 LEDs flash, means there Is no CD or the disk Is not a music CD in the drive.

It the Up 3 LEDs flash, MESAS there is no USB flesh drhe connected, or there is no enough space left of the USB nest, drive.

RESET

RESET

Press button in this hole with a needle and hold more than 2 seconds then release, CDRip will be reset. Note: After reset, you have to reconnect CDRip to your Wi—Fi.

Upgrade

If you get a new firmware from CDRip supplier, copy it to a USB flash drive, connect it to CDRip, then short press ( less than 2 seconds) button in this hole with a needle, CDRip will be upgrade and reboot, you can see the green indicator flash during upgrade.
