GENERAL SAFETY RULES

PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS before operating your machine. The safety instructions in this manual are designed to protect your safety and guide your use of the Green Machine Cordless Blower. Failure to read and understand the following information may create an unsafe workspace which could constitute a risk of electric shock, explosions, heavy flying objects, fire, or chemical reactions. Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.
NOTE: The term “power tool” used in these instructions refers to your battery-operated, cordless blower.
1.1 Work Area Safety

  • Prepare your workspace before turning on your machine. Ensuring a clean and well-lit workspace should be the first step in using your Green Machine® Cordless Blower. Use dust extraction and collection devices if available.
  • Clear the area before each use. Remove all objects such as rocks, broken glass, nails, wire, or string that can be thrown.
  • Never operate your power tool in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust.
  • Keep children and bystanders away while operating your power tool. By operating away from bystanders, you are reducing the risk of injury by minimizing potential harm to people other than yourself. Additionally, you can avoid unwanted distractions which may lead to unsafe operations.
  • Don’t use in the rain, in damp or wet locations.

1.2 Personal Safety

  • Stay alert and entirely focused when operating a power tool. Never use your cordless blower while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. You should also avoid using your power tool while you are feeling overly tired or ill.
  • Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. They can be caught in moving parts. Wear protective clothing; use of work gloves, long pants, a long-sleeved shirt, and safety footwear is recommended when working outdoors. Wear protective hair covering to contain long hair.
  • Always wear proper protective equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, eye protection, dust masks, non-slip safety shoes, hard hats, and hearing protection.
  • Keep your balance by maintaining a firm stance and footing. Always be sure of your footing, particularly on slopes or stairs.
  • Do not grip the power tool by any non-insulated metal surface on the machine.
  • Maintain personal safety standards for any and all devices being used for a task. This may include dust collection tools, lighting, and additional power tools.
  • Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the OFF position before connecting to the battery pack, picking up, or carrying the tool. Carrying power tools with your finger on the switch or energizing power tools that have the switch on invites accidents.
  • Do not let familiarity gained from frequent use of tools allow you to become complacent and ignore tool safety principles. A careless action can cause severe injury within a fraction of a second.

1.3 Power Tool Use and Care

  • Only use the Green Machine@ Cordless Blower if it is the right tool for the job. Only use the attachments recommended by the manufacturer.
  • Do not use the power tool if the switch does not work properly.
  • Turn off your power tool and remove the battery pack before making any adjustments. This may include clearing jammed material, changing accessories, storing, or servicing the appliance.
  • Do not allow persons unfamiliar with these instructions to operate the machine.
  • Keep your power tool in proper condition with regular maintenance. Check for the misalignment or disrepair of moving parts and any other condition that may affect the power tool’s operation. If damaged, have the power tool repaired before use.
  • Avoid use near or around water. Ensure your hands are dry and never use your power tool in the rain.
  • Avoid closed spaces and small openings. Never insert the nose of your cordless blower into a non-ventilated opening.
  • Do not use your power tool while it Is lying on its side or back. This product was only designed to be used in an upright position.
  • Always switch off your power tool before setting it down on the ground or other surfaces.
  • Do not use solvents or cleaning fluids to clean your product. Use a blunt scraper to remove grass and dirt.
  • Keep your product out of reach of children at all times.
  • Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits, etc. in accordance with these instructions, taking into account the working conditions and the work to be performed. Use of the power tool for operations different from those intended could result in a hazardous situation.
  • Keep handles and grasping surfaces dry, clean, and free from oil and grease. Slippery handles and grasping surfaces do not allow for safe handling and control of the tool in unexpected situations.
  • Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained.

1.4 Battery Tool Use and Care

  • Check that the power switch is off before inserting the battery pack. Your battery pack should always be removed and your cordless tool stored securely with the power switch off between each use.
  • Never carry your power tool with your finger on the power switch.
  • Recharge only with the Green Machine@ charger provided for use with the equipment.
  • Power your cordless blower with the Green Machine battery pack only.
  • Take special care in storing your battery pack. Keeping your batteries away from other metal objects such as paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects will ensure safe storage.
  • Avoid any contact with liquid discharged from your battery pack. The liquid will only be discharged from your battery pack in extreme cases, but it is important to be prepared. If contact accidentally occurs, flush the exposed area with water immediately. If liquid contacts eyes seek medical attention.
  • Avoid excessive temperatures. If your battery pack overheats to 212°F or more, the battery is at risk of exploding. Be mindful of lengthy exposure to intense sun or fire.
  • Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the battery pack or tool outside the temperature range specified in the instructions. Charging improperly or at temperatures outside the specified range may damage the battery and increase the risk of fire.
  • Never service damaged battery packs. Service of battery packs should only be performed by the manufacturer or authorized service providers.

1.5 Safety Warnings For Battery and Battery Charger

  • Do not dispose of the battery in a fire. The cell may explode. Check with local codes for possible special disposal instructions. When disposing of secondary cells or batteries, keep cells or batteries of different electrochemical systems separate from each other.
  • Do not open or mutilate the battery. Released electrolyte is corrosive and may cause damage to the eyes or skin. It may be toxic if swallowed. Additionally, if your battery pack has been damaged, seek to dispose of it properly and do not attempt to use it again.
  • Exercise care in handling the battery in order not to short it with conducting materials such as rings, bracelets, and keys. The battery or conductor may overheat and cause burns.
  • Keep battery out of reach of children and in original package until ready to use.
  • Keep new and used batteries away from children.
  • If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children.
  • Do not use a visibly damaged battery pack or appliance.
  • Do not short-circuit a cell or battery. Do not store cells or batteries haphazardly in a box or drawer where they may short circuit each other or be short-circuited by conductive materials.
  • Do not subject cells or batteries to mechanical shocks.
  • Keep cells and batteries clean and dry. Wipe the cell or battery terminals with a clean dry cloth if they become dirty.
  • Do not maintain secondary cells and batteries on charge when not in use.
  • Remove the battery from the equipment when not in use.
  • Use the battery only in conjunction with your power tool. This measure alone protects the battery against dangerous overload.
  • Keep the battery charger away from rain or moisture. Penetration of water in the battery charger increases the risk of an electric shock.
  • Do not charge other batteries. The battery charger is suitable only for charging lithium-ion batteries within the listed voltage range. Otherwise, there is a danger of fire and explosion.
  • Keep the battery charger clean. Contamination can lead to the danger of an electric shock.
  • Before each use, check the battery charger, cable and plug. If damage is detected, do not use the battery charger. Never open the battery charger yourself. Have repairs performed only by a qualified technician and only using original spare parts. Damaged battery chargers, cables and plugs increase the risk of an electric shock.
  • Do not operate the battery charger on easily inflammable surfaces (e. g., paper, textiles, etc.) or surroundings. The heating of the battery charger during the charging process can pose a fire hazard.
  • Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the battery charger.
    This product uses lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries marked with the Cail2Recycle seal, which can be recycled at any US or Canada participating retailer or battery recycling facility in the Cail2Recycle program. To locate a participating retailer or facility closest to you, please call877-273-2925 or visit www.call2recycle.org. If you are unable to locate a participating retailer or facility nearby, please consult your local waste authority for information regarding available recycling and/or disposal options.

1.6 Additional Safety Warnings
If your machine is faulty or if you want to add attachments, have your power tool serviced by a certified dealer using genuine Green Machine’s replacement parts. Do not attempt to service the machine yourself.
WARNING: This product may contain lead, phthalate or other chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, and other reproductive harm. Please wash your hands after use.

  • This tool is not intended for use by any person with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities. This includes people with a lack of experience and knowledge. All users must receive supervision or instruction concerning use of this appliance prior to actual use.
  • Always ensure all handles and guards are fitted when using the machine. Never attempt to use an incomplete machine or one fitted with an unauthorized modification.
  • Wait until the machine has turned completely off before placing it down.
  • In case of damage and improper use of the battery, vapors may be emitted. In the case of vapor emission, turn off your device and seek fresh air away from the fumes. Seek medical help in case of complications or overexposure to vapors to avoid damage to the respiratory system.
  • Use the battery only to power your power tool. Do not use your battery on other tools or for any other purposes.
  • Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used near children.
  • Do not handle the appliance with wet hands.
  • Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may reduce airflow.
  • Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of the body away from openings and moving parts.
  • Always switch off your product, allow the fan to stop, and remove the battery from the battery holder. You leave your product unattended. Checking, adjusting, cleaning or working on your product. If the appliance starts to vibrate abnormally.
  • Do not place the inlet or outlet of the blower near the eyes or ears when operating. Never blow debris in the direction of bystanders.
  • Do not cross gravel paths or roads with your cordless blower turned on.
  • Never run with your power tool, especially if it is turned on.
  • Do not place your unit down on gravel while it is switched on.
  • Never use the blower near fires or hot ashes.
  • Never use a blower to spread chemicals, fertilizers, or any other toxic substances.
  • When not in use, the blower should be stored indoors in a dry, secure place out of the reach of children.

WARNING! Do not attempt to assemble or use this product without all of the necessary parts. If any parts are missing, please contact our helpline at 800-541-7027 and await the arrival of the missing parts. Use of this product with damaged or missing parts could result in serious personal injury.

  1. Carefully remove the tool and all accessories from the carton.
  2. Inspect the tool carefully to make sure that nothing was damaged during transportation.
  3. 0nce you have confirmed that the tool is complete and working, dispose of all packing materials using responsible recycling and disposal practices.

ASSEMBLY

WARNING! Before assembly, make sure that the appliance is switched off and the battery is removed.
WARNING! Always wear protective gloves when working with your cordless blower.
CAUTION: Danger of explosion if the battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type.
5.1 Assembly Instructions
Your Green Machine° Cordless Blower is easily assembled through three quick steps. The blower tube and the battery pack must be fit with your machine before turning it on. Do not attempt to operate your machine without both of these materials intact

  1. Connect your battery pack to the charger. Your battery must be fully charged before the first use of your cordless blower.
  2. To attach your blower tube, align the groove in the tube with the knob on the housing. Push the tube onto the blower housing until the latch snaps into place. (Fig.2A/Fig.2B)
  3. Once your battery has reached a full charge, disconnect it from the charger. To install! the battery, line it up with the battery holder on the tool. Slide the battery into the battery holder and push until it snaps into place. (Fig.2C)

5.2 Disassembly Instructions

  1. To remove the blower tube, press and hold the tube-release latch to disengage, then pull the tube straight from the blower. (Fig.3A)
  2. To remove the battery, push the release latch on the machine and simultaneously pull the battery out of its holder. (Fig.3B)

WARNING: Avoid overworking or overusing your power tool. Use the tool as intended to avoid damage to the blower or yourself.

OPERATION

6.1 Starting / Stopping The Blower

  1. To start the blower, press and hold the trigger located on the tool’s handle. (Fig.4)
  2. Release the trigger to stop the tool and cease airflow.
  3. To increase the air velocity, press the turbo button. Releasing this button will return air velocity to normal.

6.2 Power Select
The Green Machines cordless blower can work at multiple power levels to ensure optimal performance for the task at hand. The power level increases with each turn of the knob, starting at zero and increasing with each turn until level six.

  • Turn the power selector backward from “0” to “6” to increase the blower power (Fig.5)
  • Turn the power selector forward from “6” to “0” to decrease the blower power (Fig.5) (Most vacuuming tasks require max power)

6.3 Operating The Blower
WARNING: When using the blower, always wear safety glasses. If using in dusty conditions, wear a mask with a fitted filter.
WARNING: Always turn your product off and remove the battery before carrying out any adjustment, servicing or maintenance.
Now that your Green Machine is assembled and you have read the safety instructions, it’s time to operate your cordless blower. Consider the following guidelines for operation to maximize the efficiency of your product and ensure your own personal safety.

  • When using your blower, aim the blower tube at the outer edges of a debris pile. Never aim your blower directly at a pile of debris. Scattered debris can be both a safety hazard and inefficient use of your tool.
  • Be mindful of loud workspaces to avoid noise pollution and hearing loss. Multiple pieces of equipment should not be used simultaneously. Consider using ear protection whenever you operate power tools or machinery.
  • Rakes and brooms can be very helpful when used in conjunction with your cordless blower.
  • Slightly dampening surfaces with available water can minimize dust in the air and keep debris from scattering.
  • Always be mindful of your surroundings and avoid using your power tool near children, pets, open windows, and freshly washed cars.
  • Be sure to dispose of all debris properly and to leave your workspace clean.

MAINTENANCE

*Your Green Machine cordless blower Is a tough machine that was built for Iong4enn use with minimal maintenance. To ensure the best results from your power tool, be sure to regularly clean your appliance and practice consistent general care, Including**

  • Switch off the power tool and remove the battery after each use. Storing your blower and battery pack separately will minimize the long-term wear and tear of the battery pack.

  • Regularly clean the charger using a soft brush or dry cloth. Be sure your charger is completely unplugged before cleaning.

  • Regularly clean the ventilation slots on your machine using a soft brush or dry cloth. Check for any clogged openings and rid the slots of debris. Be sure to turn off your machine and remove the battery pack before cleaning.

  • Regularly clean the motor housing using a damp cloth. Do not use any abrasive or solvent-based cleaner. Be sure to turn off your machine and remove the battery pack before cleaning.
    STORAGE

  • Never store your blower with debris still intact on the surface or inside of the machine. Regularly cleaning debris from your machine will reduce the machine’s overall maintenance needs.

  • Store your tool in a clean, dry location out of the reach of children.

  • Ensure that your storage location is far away from corrosive agents. Garden chemicals and deicing salts can have an adverse effect on the metals present in the machine, as well as cause chemical hazards when exposed to your battery pack.

LIMITED WARRANTY COVERAGE

The manufacturer warrants that it will repair or replace, free of charge, any failure due to defects in materials or workmanship or both occurring during the applicable warranty period, subject to the exclusions and limitations set forth in the following paragraphs. Limited Warranty coverage only applies to Green Machine products that are purchased from an authorized Green Machine”‘ retailer located in the United States, U.S. territories or Canada. This warranty is effective for and is subject to the time periods and conditions stated below. For warranty service, the purchaser must make the product available to the nearest Authorized Service Dealer, which can be found by contacting the helpline at800-541-7027.
Persons Covered This Limited Warranty
This warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of initial retail purchase and is not transferable.
“Consumer Use”
“Consumer Use” means personal residential household use by a retail consumer.
“Commercial Use”
“Commercial Use” means uses for commercial, income-producing purposes. This warranty is void if the product has been used for rental purposes.

B. This warranty applies only to products that have been properly assembled, adjusted, operated, and maintained in accordance with the instructions furnished.
C. This warranty does not apply to any product which has been subjected to alteration, misuse, abuse, improper assembly or installation, delivery damage, or normal wear of the product.
D. This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from any of the following: negligent use or misuse of the product, use on improper voltage or current, use contrary to the operating instructions, disassembly, repair or alteration by anyone other than an authorized service dealer. Further, the warranty does not cover Acts of God, such as fire, flood, hurricanes, and tornadoes.
Duties of the Consumer
A. Keep the original sales receipt for the length of the limited warranty time period as proof of purchase. Proof of purchase is required to obtain a warranty. The manufacturer reserves the right to request a copy of the receipt to verify limited warranty coverage in the event a warranty repair is made to the product.
B. Use reasonable care in the maintenance, operation, and storage of the product as explained in the operator’s manual.
C. Transportation charges on products or parts submitted for repair or replacement under this warranty must be paid by the purchaser unless such repair or replacement is requested by the manufacturer.
Duties of the Manufacturer
A. Any defective product or part covered by this limited warranty will be repaired or replaced at the option of the Manufacturer.
B. Product failures covered by this limited warranty will be scheduled and repaired according to the normal workflow of the Authorized Service Dealer to whom the product is delivered for service depending upon the availability of replacement parts or products.
