  2. Clean the Cooking Plates by wiping with a damp cloth or sponge.
  3. Dry with a cloth or paper towel.

NOTE: When you heat your Omelette Maker for the first time, it may emit a slight smoke or odour; this is normal and harmless, and it does not affect the safety of your appliance.

HOW TO USE

  1. Lightly coat the cooking plates with a bit of cooking oil.
  2. Close the Omelette Maker and plug it into the wall outlet. The Red Indicator Light will illuminate, signalling that the appliance is heating up.
  3. Once the Cooking Surface reaches the optimal cooking temperature, the Green Indicator Light will also turn on.
  4. Carefully lift the cover by the handle and fill one or more cooking plates with egg mixture according to the recipe. Close the cover.
  5. Once the food is cooked to your preference, carefully lift the cover. Remove the omelette from the cooking surface with a heat resistant nylon or silicone cooking utensil. Do not use metal utensils on the cooking surface, as this might damage the surface.
  6. When you have finished cooking, unplug your omelette maker and allow it to cool before moving or cleaning.

Note: Steam may be released from the appliance during cooking. For your safety, avoid contact with steam, as it is very hot and can cause burns.
Tips : Before filling the cooking plates with egg mixture, you can use them to heat your omelette toppings such as mushroom, onion or ham. Place the topping on the cooking surface and gently stir with a heat-resistant nylon or silicone cooking utensil until toppings are cooked through or warm. Then pour the eggs onto the cooking surface and close the cover to cook the omelette.

CLEANING AND CARE

  • Always unplug the Omelette Maker and allow it to cool before cleaning. There is no need to disassemble the Omelette Maker for cleaning.
  • Wipe the appliance with a damp cloth only. Do not clean the outside with any abrasive scouring pad or steel wool, as this will damage the finish.
  • Never immerse the Omelette Maker in water or place it in a dishwasher.
  • Do not use metal utensils to remove your omelettes; they can damage the non-stick surface.

Note: Do not leave it too long before cleaning the appliance; otherwise, batter deposits may harden and be difficult to remove.

  • Remove crumbs and stains from mixed eggs.
  • Wipe the appliance inside and out with a soft, damp cloth. You may also use a little mild washing-up liquid but must then wipe the machine again using clean water on a damp cloth; to avoid any aftertaste affecting the flavour of your next omelette.
