WARNING

The ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings with items such as newspapers, table cloths, curtains etc. The diffuser must only be used with Night & Day perfume cartridges by Maison Berger Paris. The use of other substances may lead to a toxic risk or a risk of fire. Do not ingest the cartridge. In case of ingestion: rinse mouth and throat thoroughly with water and immediately contact a doctor or the local anti-poison centre. Avoid any eye or skin contact with the cartridge. In the case of eye contact: rinse with water. Do not try to open the perfume cartridge. Keep it away from children. “Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate this device”. Keep a minimum distance of 10cm around the device for sufficient ventilation. Ventilation must not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings with items such as newspapers, table cloths, curtains, etc. Do not place the appliance on sources of naked flames such as lit candles. The appliance must only be used with perfume refills for the Night & Day diffuser by Maison Berger Paris. The use of other substances may lead to a toxic risk or a risk of fire. This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:

• Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
• Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
• Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
• Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
• The diffuser is designed for indoor use in a moderate climate only.

• To optimise diffusion, it is recommended to put the diffuser on your bedside table and direct the diffuser to your headboard.
• It is recommended to place the diffuser no more than 1.50m from your bed.
• If there is a power cut, the diffuser’s settings are saved for a maximum of 72 hours.

CARE

• The diffuser does not require any particular care; it is not necessary to clean it when changing a new perfume cartridge.
• Keep the diffuser in a dry place and do not expose it to water or humidity.

SAFETY

• Place the diffuser on a flat, solid and clean surface to avoid it being damaged if it falls.
• It is strongly recommended not to place the diffuser close to or on a source of heat (radiator, fireplace, etc.).
• Do not try to take apart, modify or repair the diffuser.
• Never put an object through the mesh.
• The ventilation openings must not be covered or obstructed.
• Do not put your fingers or any other object in the diffuser during use.
• Never wrap or cover the adapter in fabric, paper, etc.
• Keep away from pets.

BUTTONS

Central button (on top of the appliance):

• Activate wake-up alarm ON/OFF (short press)
• Start sleep diffusion (long press =+2sec)

   • Activate/deactivate the screen’s back-lighting (long press)

INSTRUCTIONS

USE

1. Place the diffuser at a maximum distance of 1.50m from your bed, directed towards your head. Plug the power cable into the back of the appliance and then plug the cable into the mains.
2.  Insert a perfume cartridge.

SET YOUR ALARM:

•  Press long on . Use to scroll through the choices and to validate each step.
• Choose 24 hour or 12 hour mode (AM/PM).
• Set the current hour and minutes.
• Select the melody “AL” (5 melodies) and the volume “Vo” (15 levels).
• Set the hour and minutes of the alarm.
• Activate or deactivate perfume diffusion when the alarm goes off .

ACTIVATE THE ALARM

• Short press on to activate / deactivate the alarm.
• indicates activation perfume diffusion when the alarm goes off.
• Short press on to display the time of the alarm.
• Long press on to change the alarm settings.

ALARM MODE / ALARM CYCLE

• At the programmed time T, the alarm cycle starts as follow:
• T-4 min: the perfume is diffused.
• T-2 min: perfuming is accompanied with light.
• T: the melody sounds (in addition to the perfume and light). A long press on “central button” stops the cycle, or a short press on any button activates SNOOZE mode.
• T+1 min: SNOOZE mode is automatically activated if no other button has already been pressed.

SNOOZE MODE
The light and melody will come on again for 1 minute, 10 minutes after the time initially programmed. The operation can be repeated 5 times

SLEEP MODE:
Press long on .

Sleep mode occurs as follows:

• T: Start of sleep mode.
• T+2min: The perfume is diffused.
• T+7 min: Perfume diffusion stops automatically

LEVEL OF THE PERFUME CARTRIDGE
Each time the cartridge is inserted or removed, the remaining number of uses of the cartridge is shown for 3s.
This icon indicates the remaining number of uses of the capsule.

• 24 to 30 uses remaining.
• 17 to 23 uses remaining.
• 10 to 16 uses remaining.
• 4 to 9 uses remaining.
• flashing, 1 to 3 uses remaining

After 30 uses of a cartridge, CAPS OVER appears on the screen. The cartridge needs to be changed.

BACK-LIGHTING

• Long press on to deactivate the back-lighting (screen off).
• Touch any button to switch on the screen briefly.
• Hold down to activate back-lighting again
