Thank you for purchasing this ABSETSHOP digital voice recorder! Please read
this manual carefully for a thorough understanding of how the voice recorder
operates.
Statement: Users are requested to backup their own data in the process of use.

Precaution
This section is for users to use the player correctly and to ensure that the recorder performs well. Please read it carefully and follow it.
Dos
- Backup data as frequently as possible.
- When the battery is low, save recordings, and recharge immediately.
- Keep this manual for future reference.
Don’ts
- Do not shut down the device when it is in the process of saving.
- Do not format the device unless the files have been backed up.
- Do not expose it to chemicals such as benzene, thinner, etc.
- Please keep it away from the strong magnetic field and electric field.
- Do not use the player and earphones when riding bicycles, driving cars and motorcycles, so as to avoid danger.
- Do not listen at a high volume to avoid adverse effects on hearing.
Structure
- USB Port: Connect the recorder to the computer or charge.
- On/Off Switch: Push up to turn on. Push down to turn off.
- Previous/Fast-Backward: Short press to switch music/recording to the previous one, long press to fast backward the playing.
- Next/Fast Forward: Short press to switch the music/recording to the next one, long press to fast forward the playing.
- Volume +: Press it to increase the volume.
- Volume -: Press it to decrease the volume.
- Play/Pause:
- Short press this button in standby mode to play music/recording or pause music/recording.
- When the power switch is turned on, long press this button to turn it on or off.
- Record/Save: Short press once to start recording, short press again to save the voice.
- M: Return to the previous menu, long press to return to the main interface.

Function & Set
Charge Voice Recorder
USB Port: Connect the voice recorder to your computer with the USB cable
attached. It usually takes 1 hour to charge fully. Turn it on before charging.
Connect the Recorder to Charger: Connect the recorder to the charger with the
USB cable attached, the machine will start to charge automatically. It can be
operated to record or play while charging.
Charging State: During the charging process, the battery icon on the upper
right corner flashes, and stops flashing when it is charged fully, and stay at
the 4th level.
On/Off
On/Off Switch: It locates on the right side of the voice recorder.
- Slide the switch to turn on or turn off the voice recorder. ( Up-On, Down-Off )
- When the power switch is on, long press the 【Play】/【Pause】button to turn it on or off. Note: This function is not available when the recorder is charging or connected to a PC.
**Main Interface
**
Switch the recorder on, it will enter the main interface automatically. If it is not in the main interface, you can press【M】several times until it returns to the main interface. The main interface will show 3 items: “Record”, “Set” and “Music”. Press the button 【Pre】or【Next】 to choose one, and press the button【Play】to enter.
Record & Save
Record: Click the 【REC 】button once to begin recording.
Pause: Press 【Play】/【Pause】button repeatedly during recording to pause or
continue.
Save: When the recording is finished, press the 【REC】 button again to
save the recording, and the screen will show “Saved!”.
Note:
- Press the【REC】button during any status or modes (besides while playing a file) and enter the record mode.
- In the recording process, when the power is low,the system will automatically save the recording and then shut down.
- In the recording process, please do not directly turn it off. The recording files will not be saved in this case.
- When the disk is full, the system will prompt “Disk space is full!”. Please save the files to your computer or a memory card.
Play & Pause
If you want to listen to it immediately after recording, please just press 【Play】or you can find all your files by pressing the 【Prev】/【Next】button on the right side to select the files you want to play, then click【Play】to play it.
Prev & Next/Fast forward & Fast backward
- Quick click 【Pre】or【Next】 to selects voice files or other menu options.
- Press one of them for about 3 seconds to fast forward or fast backward the playing.
Adjust Volume
Vol+: Click to increase the volume. Vol-: Click to lower the volume.
Play Mode
When you are playing a recording, long press the 【M】 button and enter the play
setting menu page. On this page, you will see circulation mode and repeat
settings.
Circulation Mode
Repeat 1: Repeat the current voice file and with
Repeat All: Repeat all the voice files in thecurrent order, with this
icondisplayed on thelower right corner of the screen.
View Playing: Play each voice file for only 10 seconds, then jump to the
next one.The iconis displayed on the lower right cornerof the screen.
Shuffle Play: The voice files will be played randomly, the bottom right
corner of the screen shows this icon .
Order Play: All the voice files will be played inorder, then it stops
playing. This icon displayed on the bottom right corner of the screen.
Repeat Settings
Repeat Mode: Once this mode is chosen, it will go back to the playing
interface. At this time, the repeat mode mark-letter A(the repeat starting
point)-will flash. Press 【Next】to confirm that the current voice file will be
the starting point of the repetition.Then the Letter B(the endpoint) will
flash. Press the【Next】button to choose the end time. The AB repeat setting is
set done. The recorder will repeat from A to B and repeat it again. Press the
【Next】button again to exit the repeat mode.
Repeat Times: Choose one to set the repeat times, ranging from 0 to 10
times.
Repeat Interval: Choose one to set the repeat interval with a range of
0~10 seconds.
Sound Settings
Equalizer: Choose one among “Off, Rock, Funk, Hip Hop, Jazz, Classical, Techno” to adjust the sound effect. Variable Speed: The changeable speed ranges from – 8 to 8 (only MP3 format is supported), and the normal speed is 0.
Delete
Delete Recording
Delete one voice file at a time
- Press【Prev】/【Next】button to select ”Record Mode”.
- Then press the【Play】button twice and you will see all the voice files.
- Press【Play】button to select the recording you want to delete and play it to confirm.
- Long press the【M】and choose the ”delete”. There are 2 choices: ”Yes”, ”No”.
- Press【Prev】/【Next】button and choose ”Yes”. The file is deleted.
Delete all the voice files at a time
- Press【Prev】/【Next】button to select ”Record Mode”.
- Then press the【Play】button twice. You will see ”Delete All” and all the voice files.
- Press the【Play】button enter the next page.
- Press the【Prev】/【Next】button and choose ”Yes”. All the voice files are deleted.
Delete Music
- Press【Prev】/【Next】button to select ”Music Mode”.
- Then press the 【Play】 button twice and youwill see all the songs.
- Press 【Prev】/【Next】button to select the song you want to delete and play it to confirm.
- Long press the【M】and choose ”delete”. There are 2 choices: ”Yes”, ”No”.
- Press【Prev】/【Next】button and choose ”Yes”. The song is deleted.
Note:
Please be careful when you choose ”Delete all”.
If you want to leave the ”Delete” page and to go for the menu page, just press the【M】button.
Recording Setting
Recording Source
Microphone Recording: (the default setting) The second row in the upper
left corner of the screen displays this icon
Audio Transcription: Select this option to screen the machine’s microphone. Audio recording isrequired. This iconis displayed in the secondrow of the upper left corner of the screen. -Record Format: MP3/WAV(default WAV)
Set REC Bitrate:
WAV Format: 512 KBPS / 768 KBPS / 1024 KBPS / 1536 KBPS
MP3 Format: 32 KBPS / 64 KBPS / 128 KBPS /192 KBPS
Record Sensitivity: It is adjustable from 0 to 7. The higher the
sensitivity is, the louder the recording sound is, and the louder the noise
is. Voice-activated Monitor: monitor (off), monitor (on). When the monitor is
on, the headphones can be inserted to hear the recording content in
real-time.
Subsection Record : Off/30 minutes/60 minutes/90 minutes/120 minutes.
After setting the time, each file will be saved automatically when it reaches
the set time, and then a new file will be generated automatically to continue
recording.
Auto Record: Select a timer to display “Recording (on/off), timer recording period, start time, end time”.
AVR Set
AVR Switch: Select “On”, the voice-activated mode will be turned on and the “AVR” logo will show on the screen. In the voice-activated mode, when the voicevolume is lower than the AVR level, the recording will be paused until the voice is higher than the voice-activated threshold. When the volume is lower than the voice-activated threshold, the recording will be paused again. AVR Level: There are 5 grades(Grade 1-5) for your choices. The higher the level is chosen, the lower volume of the sound is required to trigger the recorder.
Set
Power-saving: The automatic shutdown time in standby mode can be set from 0 to 120 seconds. When it is 0 second, it will not shut down automatically, the interval is 10 seconds between each level. Sleep Timer: The time the recorder is expected to stop playing and enter the standby mode in the future. It ranges from 1 minute to 99 minutes, and the interval is 1 minute.
Display Settings
- Brightness: Range 0~10 (default is 5).
- Backlight Timer: Under this setting, the backlight will be turned off if there is no button operation. Optional: 10 seconds, 20 seconds, 30 seconds and always on.
Note: Backlight timer is invalid when charging or USB connection.
Date and Time
Time Settings: Optional 12 – hour system, 24 -hour system. Click the【Prev】/【Next】 button to adjust the number. Click 【Vol +】 or 【Vol -】 to switch HH(hour) and MM (minute), and click the 【Play】 button to save the settings. Date Settings: The format can be set in DD MM YYYY (day/month/year), MM DD YYYY (month/year), YYYY MM DD (year/month/day)(default format: year/month/day). Click the【Prev】 / 【 Next 】 button to adjust the number. Click 【Vol +】 or 【Vol -】 YYYY(year) MM(month) and DD(day), and click the【Play】key to save the settings.
Language: simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese, English, Japanese,
Korean, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, Czech,
Danish, Polish, Russian, Turkish, Hungarian, Romanian, Arabic, Hebrew, Thai,
Bahasa Indonesia, Greek.
Password Switch: Turn on this item, you need to enter the password when
starting up. This feature is turned off by default.
Modify Password: Change the boot password, and the initial default
password is “0000”, which can be modified by yourself. Press 【Vol +】 or 【Vol
-】 to switch between four digits, and press the previous song or the next song
to change the number.
Information
– Player Information: Displays master control and software version. – Disk Space: Display free space, total space, number of songs. Format Device: This operation will delete all the files in this device. Factory Settings: Factory Settings restore all settings to the default state, but won’t delete any files or modify the system time. Update the Song Library: Scan the disk again, and all the newly added tracks will be added to the playlist.
