Product Installation
1.1 Installation method
There are two installation methods.
Method 1: Install the bracket on the front glass of the car as shown in figure 1.
Method 2: Paste the silicone pad on the center console first, and then install the bracket on the silicone pad, as shown in figure 2.
Notice: Silicone pad can not be reused, please confirm the exact installation location and then paste it on the center console.

1.3 Installation adjustment
After installation done, you can adjust the screen angle or height based on your requirements.
- Angle adjustment
The end of the bracket adopts spherical design, so you can adjust the angle of the screen as shown in below figure 3.

- Height adjustment
You can adjust this knob to change the height of screen as figure 4 shown.
- Distance adjustment
You also can adjust the knob to change the distance between the screen and seat as the above figure 5 shown.
Reverse camera connection
Our CarPlay screen supports rear camera function, below figure 6 is the cable connections solution of rear camera.

CarPlay and Android Auto
4.1 Wireless CarPlay / Android Auto connection
Step 1: Turn on your mobile Phone “Wi-Fi” switch.
Step 2: Turn on “Bluetooth” as well.
Step 3: Search the Bluetooth of the product. The Bluetooth name of the product
shall be “RoadTop_XXXX”.
Step 4: Pair the Bluetooth.
Step 5: Allow the sync
Step 6: Start to use CarPlay / Android Auto function.
4.2 Wired CarPlay / Android Auto connection
- Connect the Product to your phone by USB cable.
- Use wired CarPlay / Android Auto function.
Air Play and Mirror Link
5.1 Wireless Air Play

Please disconnect the CarPlay connection if the CarPlay is working (turn off “WI-FI” switch).

Click “Mirroring” icon on the main interface as below figure 7, the hotspot name and password will be shown at the lower left corner of the mirroring interface as figure 8 shown.

Select and Click iPhone as shown in below figure 8.

Search and connect WI-FI named “CarPlay_XXXX” shown at the bottom left corner of the screen by your iPhone, and enter password: 88888888. (Only
the first-time connection needs to enter password) -
Open the shortcut menu bar of iPhone, select “screen mirroring” and turn it on, and then you can use Air Play function.
5.2 Wireless Android Mirroring

Download “M-link” app by your android phone and complete the installation.

Disconnect the CarPlay connection if the CarPlay is working as well.

Click “Mirroring” icon on the main interface as below figure 9.

Select and tick Android in figure 10

Turn on the Bluetooth of the android phone, search the Bluetooth named as “RoadTop_XXXX” and pair it.

Go to the “Mobile network” setting of your phone, select “Tethering & personal hotspot” and press “Portable WLAN hotspot”.

On the “Portable WLAN hotspot” interface, select “Configure WLAN hotspot” to enter hotspot configuration interface, set the name and password of “Personal Hotspot” to be consistent with the name and password shown on the above figure 10 “Mirroring” interface.

Tick “Show advanced options” and select “5.0 GHz Band” for the hotspot AP frequency band; turn on the “Personal Hotspot” switch, return to the main interface of the phone and open “m-Link” to use mirroring function.
Sound Transmission and Setting
There are three kinds of sound transmission methods, that is by Bluetooth, by AUX cable and by FM co-frequency transmission.
6.1 Bluetooth transmission method
- Turn on original car Bluetooth and select Bluetooth named as ““RoadTop_XXXXXX”.
- Connect and pair the Bluetooth.
- Change the sound output mode of the original car to Bluetooth.
6.2 FM co-frequency transmission method
- Tick “Setting” icon in the main interface, and then click-“FM transmitter” and “FM transmitte” as below figure shown.
- Select a clean and unused blank radio channel for your car radio, then set the same frequency via the FM transmitter of the product.
- If encountering noise interference or the sound is not clear enough, please
change to a new radio channel to ensure good sound quality.
6.3 AUX cable transmission method
Connect the product with your car with AUX cable and set your car head unit into AUX. The sound of the CarPlay /android auto function will work by AUX.
