SETUP

CONNECTING VIA 2.4 GHZ WIRELESS

1. Connect the Aerox 5 USB Type-C Wireless Dongle (15) to an available USB port on your device.
2. Toggle the Wireless Mode Switch (7) to the “2.4 GHz” position.
3. The Mouse and USB Type-C Wireless Dongle (15) will automatically pair.
4. To further customize your Mouse, or re-pair a Wireless Dongle, download the SteelSeries Engine software from steelseries.com/engine

PAIRING VIA BLUETOOTH

1. Initiate Bluetooth pairing mode on your Bluetooth 5.0 or higher-enabled device.
2. Hold the CPI Button (4) and toggle the Wireless Mode Switch (7) to the Bluetooth position to turn on your Mouse.
3. The Mouse lighting will start blinking blue when searching for a connection.
4. Select “Aerox 5 Wireless” on your Bluetooth-enabled device.

BATTERY LEVEL INDICATOR

During use, the mouse will flash red when 5 % or less battery remains. When turning on or waking from sleep, the mouse will flash a color to indicate remaining battery level:

1. Red 0–5 % battery
2. Yellow 6–10 % battery
3. Green 11–100 % battery

When charging, the lighting will flash green for 5 seconds before resuming default lighting.

DEFAULT CPI

Aerox 5 Wireless comes with 5 preset CPI settings that can be selected using the CPI Button (4) on the top of the mouse. Each setting has its own lighting indicator for ease of selection.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian consumer law. You are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. For SteelSeries-branded goods, in addition to the above, we also guarantee that we will provide repairs or spare parts for a reasonable time. Under Australian consumer law, the remedy you are entitled to if a product fails to meet a consumer guarantee will depend on whether the failure to comply with the guarantee is major or minor.
Minor failures to comply with a consumer guarantee can normally be fixed or resolved in a reasonable amount of time. In this case, the seller can choose to offer you a refund, replacement, repair or, in the case of services, resupply. If the seller does not fix the problem or takes too long, you may be able to get it fixed by someone else and recover the costs from the seller depending on the circumstances.

Remedies for major failure with goods
