be heard from the anti-drip system, particularly during heat-up or while
cooling down. This is normal and indicates that the system is functioning
correctly.
BUILT-IN ANTI-SCALE SYSTEM
The built-in Anti-Scale System is designed to reduce the build-up of lime
scale which occurs during steam ironing. This will prolong the working life of
your iron.
NOTE: The anti-scale cartridge will not completely stop the natural process of
lime scale build-up.

- When the Mode Light stays on, move the iron gently over a piece of used cloth to remove any water stains that may have formed on the soleplate.

- Use a damp cloth or non-abrasive cleaner to remove deposits from the soleplate.
- Never use sharp or rough objects to scrape deposits from the soleplate.
- Never use abrasives, vinegar or descaling agents to clean the iron.
HELPFUL IRONING TIPS
- Sort out articles to be ironed according to the type of fabric. This will minimize the frequency of temperature adjustment for different garments.
- If you start ironing at a high temperature and then select a lower one, the soleplate may take more than 2 minutes to cool down. To speed up the cooling process, press the steam trigger.
- Test by ironing a small, inconspicuous part of the garment if you are unsure about the fabric type. Start with a low temperature and increase gradually.
- Wait for 2 minutes when changing temperature settings. Temperature adjustment needs time to reach the required heat level, whether it is higher or lower.
- Delicate fabrics such as silk, wool, velour, etc. are best ironed with an ironing cloth to prevent shine marks.
