Introduction
The Rexing smart hardware kit allows you to install different car devices of Rexing such as the Rexing Dash Cam, Rexing Dual Cam for cars, and other different types of car cameras and sensors from Rexing. The Rexing smart hardwire kid features a G sensor which captures the different impacts on your car while you are away. It allows energy saving in the power mode which as a result extends the coverage duration. The Rexing smart hardwire kit is compatible with all Rexing supercapacitor models which are V1-4K, V1P, V3, V2 Pro, V5, S1 Series, V1P Pro Series, Max Series dash cams, etc. However, there are some Rexing battery models that the hardwire kit isn’t compatible with which are V1 Basic, M1, M1 Pro, M2, V2, V360.

Please DO NOT enable the parking monitor function in the settings of the dash cam once connected. This intelligent hardwire kit will override the dash cam’s parking monitor feature.
Overview
Step One
Once the dashcam is attached on the windshield with the included adhesive mount, place the motion sensor on the top of the windshield about a few inches away from the dash cam. Please make sure that the motion sensor is not blocked by any object, especially the rear-view mirror.
Step Two
Connect the motion sensor with the included USB cable.
Step Three
Run the wiring towards the fuse box with the included smart hardwire kit.

Step One
****Find the switched fuse and connect the RED cable to it. This fuse has power only when the car is on.
Step Two
Find the hot fuse the connect the YELLOW cable to that. This fuse has power at all time.
Step Three
Attach the black fuse cable. Make sure to attach the GROUND cable to the bolt near the fuse box.
Step Four
Finally, connect the power cable to the dashcam. Please DO NOT enable the parking monitor function in the settings of the dashcam. The motion-sensing will automatically on once the vehicle is powered off.
Once the blue indicator is on, which means that the sensor has detected motions. The intelligent hardwire kit will power up the dash cam automatically and start recording until the motion is cleared.

How does this connect to two cameras front and rear at the same time or do you need two sets?
The rear camera is connected to the front camera and the power cord is plugged in to the front camera. This requires the power cord only. -
Does this fit the V5?
Yes, it fits with the V5. -
I can’t get the parking mode to enable for my v1p. the red and yellow are hooked properly, as it wouldn’t turn on otherwise. what could be wrong?
If the wires are hooked properly, check the settings of your dashcam. -
Does this work for the Honda civic hatchback sport 2019?
Yes, this kit works with any 12V vehicle. -
Does this not come with the Sensor that it is sold with?
No, the camera has the sensor. -
For the parking monitor to work the camera must still be getting some power. My question is, should I be worried about a dead battery?
No, because the smart kit cuts the voltage supply to the battery if the battery level drops below 11.8 volts -
Why do I need 2 hot wires for this version instead 1 red and 1 blue?
One hot wire is for providing constant power which is used for the parking doe and the other hot wire is used to power the unit, when the ignition of the car is turned on. -
Does this work with the V1 Basic?
No, it doesn’t work with V1 Basic.
