Key specification: Double click any key to swipe the screen to unlock

display interface

power: Short press lock screen I wake up the screen, long-press
shutdown/power on
USB: Connect 11513 cable or charge or connect the headset
Quick Start Guide:
First of all, thank you very much for using our products!
Preparation
Please check that the accessories in the package are all present before using
this device: Language translator, charging cable, user manual, and
certificate.
Wireless network
After starting the device, the wireless network can be configured following these steps: Launch “settings’ and enter the “WIFI” submenu. Toggle on the switch. Select the desirable wireless name (SSID) and input the correct password if there is. Click “Confirm” to connect.
Charging
When the device is in a low-power state, the battery icon on the Status Bar will turn into an obvious low-power state as well. During the low-power state, some functions of the device may not work properly. When the battery state is below 3.4V, the device will automatically shut down to protect the data. Restarting the device will need sufficient charging.
- While charging with the device powered off, there will be a charging icon with the current battery state in the center of the screen about 10 seconds after the cable is plugged in.
- Charging with device power on, the battery icon on the right top will turn into a charging state.
- When charging is complete, a solid battery icon will be presented.
Power On / Off
Power On: Long press the Power Button until the screen is on. The
initialization of the device may take some time, please wait a while. Power
off: Long press the Power Button until a dialog appears, select “Power Off” to
turn off the device.
Wake up / Sleep
Manually:
- Sleep the device by short pressing on the Power Button.
- Wake up the device by short pressing on the Power Button.
Automatically:
- The device will go into sleep mode automatically when there were no operations for a period of time (Settings > Display, in this menu, you can change the time it takes your device to go to sleep)
- Wake up the device by short pressing on the Power Button.
Home screen
The home screen of the device is the entrance to the core functions:
Translate, Recording, Conversation, Instant camera translation and Settings.
Tapping on these icons will lead to the corresponding function page.
Status bar
The status bar at the top of the device screen primarily displays information
about the current state of the device. Such as WIFI network state and battery
state.
Introduction of Core Functions: Translation:
Language selection There are two translation modes: online translation and
offline translation. The device can change translation mode automatically.
Online translation supports for 107 different languages Offline translation
currently supports 12 languages. When the device is offline, it will
automatically change to offline translation mode.
- Tap the language button at the top of the Translate page to see the list of available languages.
- Swipe up and down to find the language you need. Tap the name of the language to activate it.
Voice recognition:
- Long press the A/B Button on the device to trigger the Speech-Recognition mode (A Button for the language on the left side, B Button for the language on the right side). • After releasing the A/B Button, the speech will be automatically recognized and translated to the specified target language. The translation starts automatically if voice broadcast is enabled in the application settings.
- The list presents previous voice translation results. Swipe up and down to review when there are many records
Favorites:
- Long press on the specific item in the list of translated results will prompt a dialog.
- Tap the ‘Favorites’ option, and the specified translation result will be marked as a favorite.
- Swiping to the right will take you to the Favorites page.
- A short click on any record and the audio will start automatically. To clear the record, tap and hold it.
Recording:
Choosing the source and target languages:
- Tap the three-dot icon at the top right of the recording page to see the list of available languages.
- Swipe up and down to find the language you need. Tap the name of the language to activate it.
Recording recognition:
- On the Recording Page, to start recording, click the ‘microphone’ icon at the bottom right.
- It will automatically identify the source language in the process of recording and display it on the page.
- Tap the ‘Language Switch’ icon at the bottom left to view the original / translated text.
- The recording function supports a maximum of 1-hour recording. Saving the recording results:
- Tap the red ‘stop’ icon at the bottom right to prompt the confirmation.
- Tap “OK” to stop and automatically save the recording file.
- Tap the three-dot icon at the top right to view the list of saved recording files.
Conversation:
Brief introduction:
The conversation function supports the recognition and broadcasting of
languages in over 107 countries, reducing the language barriers and
facilitating inter-person communications
Hold a multi-person conversation:
- Create a multi-person conversation (applicable only if the device did not join any existing one yet).
- Tap the “Create” icon on the conversation page
- Input the ID of the target device that you need to invite, then click “Confirm”.
- Tap the “Done” button to complete the creation.
Invite to join the multi-person conversation
- On the Multi-person conversation page, click the button at the top right and select the “Add member” options.
- Input the ID of the target device that needs to join, then click “Confirm”.
- Tap “OK” to complete the invitation.
Voice recognition:
- Long press on the A/B Buttons on the conversation page to enter voice recognition mode
- Speak in the language that you have set in the system as spoken input.
- When you finish, then release the A/B Buttons, and the translation is done automatically.
Add a member:
- On the Multi-person conversation page, click the button at the top right and select the “Add member’ option.
- Input the Chat ID of the target device that you want to invite, then click “Confirm’.
- Tap “OK” to complete the invitation.
Member management:
- On the Multi-person conversation page, click the button at the top right and select the “ Member Management” options.
- Tap “Leave conference’ to quit the conversation.
- Tap the “X” button next to each member to exclude the specific member.
Language selection:
- Tap the button at the top right of the Multi-person conversation page and select “Select language” options
- Set the language according to the actual needs.
Advanced Settings:
- Tap the button at the top right of the Multi-person conversation page and select the ‘Settings” options.
- Switch on / off “Automatic broadcast” will enable/disable automatic message broadcast
- Switch on / off “Block Information” will enable/disable the message blocking function
Instant camera translation
Language selection:
- Tap the button at the top of the instant camera translation page and select the “Select language’ options.
- Tap to choose the source language/target language as needed.
Instant camera translation
- Tap the button at the top of the instant camera translation page and select the “Select Language” options.
- Turn the camera flash on or off as you need.
- Tap Take photo.
- At the bottom, tap the button.
- The text on your screen will be translated.
Offline translation:
Language selection:
- Tap the language button at the top of the Translate page to see the list of available languages.
- Swipe up and down to find the language you need. Tap the name of the language to activate it.
Voice recognition:
- Long press the NB Button on the device to trigger the Speech-Recognition mode (A button for the language on the left side, B button for the language on the right side).
- After releasing the A/B Button, the speech will be automatically recognized and translated to the specified target language. The pronunciation starts automatically if voice broadcast is enabled in the application settings.
- The list presents previous voice translation results. Swipe up and down to review when there are many records.
Favorites:
- Long pressing on the specific item in the list of the translated results will prompt a dialog.
- Tap the “Favorites” option, with a notice, the specified translation result is marked as a favorite.
- A short click on any record, and the pronunciation starts automatically. To clear the record, tap and hold it.
Settings:
WIFI: Configure the WIFI network for the devices.
Mode: you can choose either automatic broadcast or manual broadcast mode.
When you choose the manual mode, the translation results will need to be
manually clicked to broadcast.
Bluetooth: you can connect your device with a compatible Bluetooth-
enabled device.
Display: In this menu, you can change the time it takes your device to go
to sleep. The time limit you can choose: 30 seconds, 1 minute, 3minutes, never
turn off.
Date & Time: automatic mode and manual mode are available to choose.
Reset: reset the device to its factory state (delete all user data on the
device, and this cannot be undone).
Firmware upgrade: check information of the existing version and new
version.
About us: check the model name, version number, and patent information of
the device.
Online Update:
When there is a new upgradable version, the device will check for it when the
user switches language, reboots the device, or 24 hours after the previous
check. Both WIFI and mobile network are applicable for the update.
If you have any issues with the DoDoDuck 1, please give us the version number
so we can help you fix the problem.
To find the version number, please go to “settings -> about us”, take a
picture of the version number and send it to us.

This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to
the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful
interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received,
including interference that may cause undesired operation.
Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible
for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
Note: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits
for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These
limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful
interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates uses and
can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in
accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio
communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not
occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful
interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by
turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the
interference by one or more of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
The device has been evaluated to meet general RF exposure requirements. The device can be used in portable exposure conditions without restriction.
