How to pair the Switch Pro Controller
The Pro Controller can be paired to the Switch console in the following ways. USB Connection Pairing:
- Place the N Switch console in the dock.
- Connect the Pro Controller to the dock with the included USB cable .
Additional Information:
This option [Pro controller Wired communication] needs to be set to
on.
Button Pairing or Wireless Pairing.
- From the HOME Menu, select “Controllers,” then “Change Grip and Order.” While the following screen is displayed, press and hold down the SYNC Button for at least one second on the Pro Controller you wish to pair.
Additional Information:
- The console must be powered on. It is not possible to pair a controller while the console is powered off or in sleep mode.
- Once paired, the player LED(s) corresponding to the controller number will remain lit.
- Up to eight wireless controllers can be paired to the Nintendo Switch console. However, the maximum number of controllers that can be connected will vary depending on the type of controllers and features that are used.
TROUBLESHOOTING for the first connection
Solution 1:
When your controller has been connected,please just press[A Button] one time to confirm.
- If you press two times [A button], the controller connected will be disconnected.
- [Change Grip/Order]means disconnect all the controllers that has been connected
- After you connected your controller and return to this step,
- please DO NOT press[A button] again,you can press[B button] or [HOME button]
Solution 2:
because of Bluetooth pairing problems between NS Switch and controller,if you can’t finish the first connection, please restart your NS Switch as below and try again.
- Hold the power button located on the top of the Switch for around 5 seconds
- Under sleep mode, you will see “power Options”
- Under Power Option, you can choose to restart or turn the power off
How to wake up your controllers
- When the controller is in the sleep mode,you should wake up your controller with a short press [A,B, X,Y Button], LED channel lights 1-4 will blink

| It will sleep in accordance with the host system’s sleep settings, the host screen is closed, and the handle is automatically dormant.
Battery Warnings
- This controller works ONLY with the battery pack LI-ON 3.7V/600mAh built-in.
- Do not use the product if it appears to be damaged or leaking, showing discoloration, shape or any other changes.
- If battery leakage occurs avoid contact with skin, and clothes, and wipe off any deposit.if contact occurs, immediately wash thoroughly and check with a doctor.
- Make sure you keep the controller, clean and dry, away form liquids, dust and dirty Do not expose it to extreme weather conditions(heat and cold)or extreme fluctuations in air moisture.
- This product is ONLY for HOME use only. recycle it accordingly, not into domestic waste.
Reset function
- When the controller is out of order, which can be reset by poking the reset key at the back of it
How to charge the controller
The Pro Controller can be charged in the following ways: While connected to the N Switch dock.
- Connect the N Switch AC adapter to the dock and then to a wall outlet.
- Note: In order to charge the Pro Controller, the N Switch console does not need to be docked.
- Connect the USB charging cable included with the Pro Controller to the controller and then to an available USB port on the dock.
While connected directly to the Nintendo Switch AC adapter.
- Connect the N Switch AC adapter directly to the Pro Controller and then to a wall outlet.
Additional Information:
- It takes approximately six hours in order for the N Switch Pro Controller to fully charge.
- Once the Pro Controller is fully charged, the recharge LED beside the USB connector will shut off.
