B. Preparation

Remove the battery strip.
Note: Immediately (as long as „0.0“ is still being displayed) place the body analysis scale on a level surface and wait until the scale powers down automatically. Then begin data input. Otherwise, it might be possible that the weight of the scale would erroneously be added to the initial weighting process. The same might occur during regular operation if the scale is held in the hand prior to the weighting process. -
For all measurements, place scale level on a hard surface (not carpet).

Cleaning and Care: clean only using a slightly damp cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasives. Never submerge the scale in water.

A country-specific option to switch from kg/cm to lb/in or st/in is possible by pushing the key on the bottom of the scale to switch units.
Attention! Slipping hazard in case of a wet surface.
C. Data input

Push key.

Use / keys to select the memory slot and confirm().

Then use / keys to enter body height and confirm.
Note: For unit conversion, see section B.4. -
In the next step enter the age and confirm.

Finally, select sex and confirm (Press key 3 sec.).

Now immediately place the body analysis scale on the floor, wait until the screen displays „0.0“ and then step on the scale with bare feet.
The initial measurement is indispensable and serves to store the data for later automatic recognition of persons. If no person steps on the scale, data input must be repeated.
The first body analysis is performed after a person steps on the scale.
This scale is equipped with a Time-Out mode.
It will automatically switch off after approx. 40 seconds if no keys are pressed.
Data must be entered again after the battery change.
D. Body analysis
- Place the scale on a hard, level surface and wait until the scale switches off automatically.
- Step barefoot onto the scale. Please stand still.
- The body weight will be displayed.
The scale determines the body values (body fat, body water, muscle mass, kcal).
Note: Body values are calculated based on the determined weight and personal data.
The scale shuts off automatically.
E. Notifications

- The measured value is higher (H) or lower (L) than the limit.

Leifheit AG grants you 3 years guarantee as of the date of purchase (or for order upon receipt of the goods) for the quality product at hand. If a repair is not possible and if an identical product is no longer available within the product range for replacement, you will receive a replacement product that is, insofar as possible, of equal value. To assert the guarantee, please contact the seller where you purchased the product and present the defective product, the purchase receipt (copy), and the guarantee slip. The guarantee is valid globally. Your statutory rights, in particular warranty rights, continue to be valid and are not limited by this warranty.
