Usage Instructions

  1. Remove the cover from the base.
  2. Pour water into the reservoir up to the max fill line.
  3. Place the cover back on.
  4. Plug the USB cable into the humidifier and a USB outlet.
  5. Select your desired mist and lighting options using the power and light buttons.

Power Button :

  • Press once for 8 hours of continuous mist.
  • Press twice for 16 hours of intermittent mist.
  • Press a third time to shut off the mist.
  • Long press for 2 seconds to shut off both mist and light.

Light Button:

  • Press once for color-changing ambient light rotation.
  • Press twice to select a specific color.
  • Press a third time to turn off the light.

Cleaning and Care

Note: Clean the unit regularly for optimal performance.

  1. Turn off the power and unplug the USB cable before cleaning.
  2. Carefully clean the reservoir and ultrasonic membrane with a 50/50 mixture of vinegar and water.
  3. Rinse with water after cleaning to remove any vinegar residue
  4. Clean the surface of the humidifier with a damp cloth as needed.

Troubleshooting

  • Problem: No mist
  • Possible Cause: Power supply not connected
  • Solution: Plug in the USB cable and press the power button
  • Possible Cause: Water exceeding MAX level
  • Solution: Dump excess water out of the reservoir

FAQ

  • Q: How often should I clean the reservoir and ultrasonic membrane?
    A: We recommend wiping them with a damp cloth at least once  every 2 weeks, depending on your usage.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WHEN USING ELECTRICAL PRODUCTS, ESPECIALLY WHEN CHILDREN ARE PRESENT, BASIC SAFETY PRECAUTIONS SHOULD ALWAYS BE  FOLLOWED, INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING: READ AND SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS

  • Always place humidifier on a firm, flat surface. Always use a waterproof mat when placed on wooden surfaces.
  • NEVER place humidifier on a rug or carpet or on a finished floor that may be damaged by exposure to water or moisture.
  • Always unplug the unit from the USB outlet immediately after using and before cleaning, or moving humidifier.
  • DO NOT reach for a unit that has fallen into water. Unplug it immediately.
  • DO NOT place or drop into water or other liquids.
  • DO NOT use water above 86° Fahrenheit.
  • Use this unit only for its intended purpose as described in this document and the instruction manual.
  • DO NOT use attachments not recommended by Homedics; specifically, any attachments not provided with this unit.
  • NEVER drop or insert any object into any opening.
  • DO NOT place the humidifier near heat sources, such as a stove.
  • Always keep the cord away from high temperature and fire.
  •  To disconnect, turn unit off, then remove the plug from the outlet.
  • DO NOT use outdoors. For indoor, household use only.
  • NEVER cover the unit while it is operating.
  • If the cord sustains damage, you must stop using this product immediately and contact Homedics Consumer Relations (see Warranty section for contact information).
  • Perform regular maintenance on the ultrasonic membrane.
  • NEVER use detergent to clean the ultrasonic membrane.
  • DO NOT attempt to adjust or repair the unit. Servicing must be performed by professional or qualified personnel.
  • Stop using this unit if there is an unusual noise or smell.
  • Unplug this unit when not in use for a long period of time.
  • DO NOT touch the water or any parts of the unit that are covered by water while the unit is on or plugged in.
  • DO NOT wash, adjust, or move this unit without first unplugging it from the USB outlet.
  • Keep this unit out of reach of children.
  • DO NOT overfill.

HOW TO USE

  1. Remove the cover from the base.
  2.  Pour water into the reservoir until it reaches the max fill line.
  3. Put the cover back on.
  4. Plug USB cable into the humidifier and USB outlet. Use caution when plugging the unit in to avoid spilling water.

POWER BUTTON:

  1.  Press POWER button once, it will run for 8 hours with continuous mist.
  2. Press a second time, it will run for 16 hours with intermittent mist.
  3. Press it for the third time, it will shut off the mist.
  4. Long press for 2 seconds at any time, it will shut off the mist and the light.

LIGHT BUTTON:

  1. Press once to turn on the color-changing ambient light rotation.
  2. Press a second time to select the specific color that fits your mood most.
  3. Press a third time to turn off light.

CLEANING AND CARE

  1. Before cleaning the unit, turn the power off and make sure the USB cable is unplugged from the humidifier and outlet.
  2. Remove the cover from the base. Carefully pour any remaining water out of the reservoir from the drain side, opposite the air outlet. Be sure not to empty the reservoir near the air outlet in order to avoid malfunction.

To Clean the Surface

  • Clean the surface of your humidifier with a damp, soft cloth as often as needed.
  • To Clean the Reservoir and Ultrasonic Membrane We recommend wiping the reservoir with a damp, soft cloth at least once every 2 weeks.

NOTE: Depending on your usage, you may want to clean the reservoir and ultrasonic membrane more frequently for best performance.
For the most thorough clean, pour a 50/50 mixture of vinegar and water into the reservoir. Soak for 5 minutes. Clean the reservoir walls, base, and ultrasonic membrane with a cotton swab. Rinse with water to remove the vinegar smell.

  • NEVER touch the ultrasonic membrane with your fingers.
  • NEVER submerge the base in water or any other liquid.
  • Clean the membrane once every 2-3 weeks, depending on your usage.
  • Clean and dry the unit before extended periods of inactivity.

1-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

  • Homedics sells its products with the intent that they are free of defects in manufacture and workmanship for a period of 1 year from the date of original purchase, except as noted below. Homedics warrants that its products will be free of defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service. This warranty extends only to consumers and does not extend to Retailers.

  • Homedics does not authorize anyone, including, but not limited to, Retailers, the subsequent consumer purchaser of the product from a Retailer or remote purchasers, to obligate Homedics in any way beyond the terms set forth herein.
