• Do not expose boombox to water.
• Children should be supervised when using boombox.
• Unplug this product from wall outlet before cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners. Clean only with dry cloth.
• Do not block any ventilation openings.
• Protect the power cord from being compressed or pinched at the plug, or where it exits the boombox.
• Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
• During lightning storms or when boombox is unused for long periods of time, unplug from power source and remove batteries.
• To avoid fire or electric shock, do not push objects into the boombox through any openings.
• Avoid placing boombox in locations described below:
  • On unstable cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table.
  • Direct sunlight, heat sources (like radiators, heat registers), and heat-radiating devices (like amplifiers or other electronics).
  • Humid or moist environments.
  • Areas with high dust or small debris.
  • Places subject to constant vibration or electrical noise such as fluorescent lamps or motors.

AC POWER CORD OPERATION

1. When the AC power cord Cincluded) is connected to the AC Power Socket on the back of the unit, and the other end is plugged into a AC 120V~ 60OHZz wall outlet, the batteries will disconnect automatically and operate on AC Power only.
2. Do not overload wall outlet.
3. Change the FUNCTION button to “CD” or “RADIO” or “TAPE” or “AUX”.

BATTERY OPERATION

For best performance and longer operating time, use quality alkaline batteries. If the sound of the boombox becomes distorted or the CD player operation appears unstable, the batteries may be weak and need to be replaced.

1. Remove the BATTERY DOOR.
2. Install 8 x “C” batteries (not included) according to the polarity diagram inside the battery compartment.
3. Close the BATTERY DOOR.

CAUTION

1. Do not mix old and new batteries.
2.  Installing batteries with the wrong polarity can damage the unit
3. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
4. If the boombox will not to be used for an extended period of time, remove the batteries. Old or leaking batteries can cause damage.

RADIO OPERATION

1. Press POWER button. FM will be the default function, and LCD display will read 87.5.
2. Tosearch stations: Hold down SKIP+ to auto scan and it will stop when a station is found. Press SKIP+ once to search for stations Manually.
3. TO program preset stations: Find preferred station and hold down the PROGRAM button. LCD display will begin to blink “MEM”, and display “PO1’ at the same time. Press SKIP+ to choose a preset number to store the station. Press the PROGRAM button again to confirm that the station has saved as that preset number. Save up to 20 stations each for FM and AM.
4. Toselect a preset station: Press the PROGRAM button once, press SKIP+ to choose the desired preset station.
5. Press the MODE button once, to automatically scan and save the stations that can be received clearly.
6. Press the BAND button to switch between FM and AM.

BLUETOOTH OPERATION

Connect the auto devices under Bluetooth® mode, after successfully connected the unit will start to play music, then press the VOL-/VOL+ button to adjust volume. Press the SKIP+ button to move to the next song or the SKIP- button to move back to the previous song. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to play or pause the music. Bluetooth® device name: CDR-3916BT

AUX IN OPERATION

1. Press the FUNCTION button to change to AUX mode.
2. The LCD will display “AUX”.
3. Insert the external jack into the AUX-IN jack, and the boombox will work as a speaker.

CD/MP3 OPERATION

• STOP
  Press STOP button to stop the CD from playing.

• PLAY/PAUSE
  1. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to play CD, LCD display shows the track “OO” and CD playing icon.
  2. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to pause CD, LCD will display the track “OO” and CD playing icon.

• SKIP+ Button
  1. To advance to the next song, press and hold SKIP+ button for 2 seconds.
  2. For MP3, the LCD displays the folder number as “FO1’. Press SKIP+ to advance to the next folder.

• SKIP- Button
  1. To listen to the previous song, press and hold SKIP- button for 2 seconds.
  2. For MP3, the LCD displays folder number as “FO”. Press SKIP- to go back to the previous folder. The beginning of the orevious song will automatically start playing.

• MODE Button (While in CD and MP3 mode)
  1. Press the MODE button once to repeat a single song. The LCD display will read ’REP.”
  2. Press the MODE button twice to repeat the album playing. The LCD display will read, “REP ALBUM.”
  3. Press the MODE button three times to repeat all tracks. The LCD display will read, “REP ALL”.
  4. Press the MODE button four times for random playing mode. The LCD display will read, “RAND”.
  5. Press the MODE button five times to cancel function.
  6. Hold down the MODE button for 2-3 seconds. “+10” mode will be displayed. The display will begin blinking and show the track number. Press SKIP+ for +10 tracks, or press SKIP- for -10 tracks. The “+10” mode will automatically shut off or press the MODE button again to cancel “+10” function.

• PROGRAM Button (In CD Mode but not playing a CD)
  1. When not playing a CD, press the PROGRAM button, the LCD will display “POT’and “PROG” will flash.
  2. Press SKIP+ to select the song to be programmed.
  5. Press the PROGRAM button to store selected songs.
  4. Repeat steps 1-3 to program up to 20 tracks for CD/CD-R/CD-RW disc or program up to 99 tracks for a MP3.
  5. Press PLAY/PAUSE to play the programmed songs.

TAPE OPERATION

• Inserting Cassette
  Open the cassette cover by pressing the STOP/EJECT BUTTON. Insert the cassette tape, with the tape facing up. Close the cover, the cassette player is now ready for operation.

• Pause
  Press the PAUSE button to stop the tape during recording or playback, press the PAUSE button a second time to resume.

• Automatic Stop (Auto Stop)
  When the cassette tape that is being played or recorded reaches the end, the boombox will power off.

• Fast Forward and Rewind
  To fast forward or rewind the tape, press the FFWD or REWIND button. Press the STOP/EJECT button to stop the tape at the desired location.

• Play Back
  1. Set FUNCTION mode to TAPE.
  2. Press the PLAY button.
  5. Adjust the VOLUME CONTROL to desired sound level.

• Recording
  1. Press the RECORD button.
  2. To record from the radio, set FUNCTION mode to RADIO.
  3. To record from CD, set FUNCTION mode to CD.

• STOP OPERATION IMMEDIATELY IF ANY LIQUID OR SOLIDS FALL INTO CD PLAYER.
• DO NOT TOUCH LENS. THIS COULD DAMAGE THE LENS AND THE PLAYER MAY NOT OPERATE PROPERLY.
• DONOT PUSH ANYTHING INTO THE SAFETY SLOT. THIS COULD CAUSE THE LASER TO STAY ON WHEN THE CD DOOR IS OPEN.
• LASER BEAM IN THE CD PLAYER IS HARMFUL TO EYES, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DISASSEMBLE THE CASING.

for AM or FM
