We advise you to read this user manual thoroughly before using the heater and keep it permanently so that the features of the heater you have purchased will stay the same as the first day for a long time and serve in an optimum efficient way.

Note: This Assembly & Operating Manual is prepared for multiple models. Your appliance may not feature some functions specified in the manual. These functions are marked by the sign (*). Our appliances are intended for outdoor use.

Safety Instructions

  • This appliance is manufactured in accordance with the safety regulations. Operation against the rules cause harm both to the person and the appliance.

  • Please read the user manual carefully before you operate your appliance. You will find important information on installation, safety, operation and maintenance in the User Manual. Thus, you protect yourself and prevent damage to the appliance.

  • If the power supply cable is damaged, this cable shall be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or an equally qualified personnel to prevent a hazardous situation.

  • Inspect the lamp on the appliance for cracks and deformation. Do not use the heater if the lamp is damaged, contact the authorized service.

  • The product shall be connected and installed by a qualified electrician.

  • It is possible to connect/control multiple products to/on the same electricity grid.

  • Check that mains line is 220-240V AC, 50/60Hz and electrical connection is going through a fuse. Network safety must be checked. The fuse should be 18 Amps.

  • Plug your appliance’s plug into a suitable grounded socket.

  • Conditional connection: The appliance is subject to conditional connection, the permitted largest system impedance is ZMAX. Impedance ZMAX: 0,01 + j 0,01

  • Don’ use your appliance connection with the same electrical wiring or fuse.

  • Some parts of your appliance may become very hot and cause burns.

  • Special care must be exercised where children and vulnerable people are present.

  • Do not leave the supply cord in the vicinity or on the hot body of the, appliance.

  • If your appliance is not to be used for a long period of time, if it is relocated, cleaned or calibrated, the appliance’s cable must be disconnected from the mains.

  • Make sure the appliance is cold before moving it. May cause harm to children, vulnerable people, objects and animals Do not touch the heater directly by hand during operation!

  • Do not insert any objects or limbs (paper/fingers etc.) into the heater.

  • Check the cables and socket regularly. If you see a malfunction/problem with the heater or its wiring, immediately disconnect the power supply and contact a qualified electrician or dealer.

  • Use the device according to the purposes in this user manual. Other uses may cause harm to humans, objects and animals. Such cases are not covered by the warranty. Under no circumstances shall the manufacturer/dealer/exporter be liable for such cases.

  • During installation, maintenance or repair work, the mains plug must be disconnected from the socket.

  • Before use, make sure that the power supply cable is clean and dust free.

  • Do not touch the power cable with wet hands.

  • Do not pass the power cable under heavy objects.

  • Do not add extensions to the power cable.

  • Otherwise, it may cause malfunction, electric shock or fire.

  • Do not cover your heater to prevent excessive heating.

  • Never cover the ventilation ducts and the aluminium mesh area.

  • The aluminium mesh of this heater is intended to prevent direct access to the heating elements and should be in place when the heater is in use.

  • Do not use your appliance outside its intended use. (do not use it to dry clothes or keep animals or plants warm).

  • When not in use, move the heater to a safe place and keep the power cords away from the plug.

  • Before use, make sure that the power supply cable is clean and dust free.

  • Switch off the device when you are not operating it or when it is not under your supervision.

  • CAUTION: While using this appliance or right after it is turned off, some parts will be extremely hot and may cause burns.

  • Never attempt to clean the appliance using solvents or flammable liquids (may cause electric shock or fire).

  • Do not use the heater away from where you are. Avoid using extension cables, as this may cause fire due to overheating. If you shall use an extension cord, the cross-section of the cord shall be at least 2 mm2 (14AWG).

  • Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device yourself.

  • Never shake the heater.

  • A faint smoke and smell may occur during the first use of the appliance This is normal.

  • Do not touch your appliance while on or right after you turn it off.

  • Children shall not be allowed to play with the appliance.

  • Children shall be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

  • The usage life of the product is 10 years.

  • WARNING , children over 3 and under 8 years of age are only allowed to switch the device on/off, once the device has been placed or installed in its regular operating position. They are instructed on how to use the device safely and understand the associated hazards. Children over 3 and under 8 years of age are not allowed to unplug, arrange, clean the device or carry out service user-maintenance on the device.

  • WARNING , keep children under 3 years of age away from the device unless they are under constant supervision. For the safety of children older than 3 years and under 8 years of age, the appliance must be operated out of reach, in compliance with the specified safety instructions and with all connections checked.

  • WARNING , This heater does not have hardware that checks room temperature. The heater shall be used by those who do not have physical disabilities, and hav e adequate experience and appropriate knowledge, and
    an experienced person where children are present.

  • Do not use this heater in small and narrow spaces. WARNING, The fire-proof aluminium mesh does no t provide complete protection for young children and
    people with disabilities.

  • The appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons who do not have varying degrees of physical, sensory or mental disability or lack of experience o r knowledge, unless they are guided and inspected for safe use of the product and are aware of the associated hazards. Cleaning and maintenance cannot not be carried out b y children without supervision.

  • Device safety instructions should be followed strictly when particularly in the presence of children, people with psychological disabilities and people with impaired understanding.

Safe Distances: high temperature, fire protection

  • The distance between the appliance and the materials such as wood, cardboard, curtain, fabric etc. and living beings and other appliances must be at least 1 meter.

  • No objects or fingers should be pushed between the protector mesh wire. Do not place the appliance right under a socket.

  • Do not move your device while it is in operation!

  • Always switch off the appliance and allow it to cool before touching it!

  • This heater should not be equipped with a device to control the room temperature.

  • Do not use this heater in small rooms used by people who cannot leave their rooms unless constant control is provided.

  • Do not operate the heater within a distance of 7.60 m to inflammable materials (gasoline, alcohol etc.)!

  • Do not place flammable materials, such as solvents, thinners, on or near the work surfaces of the heating devices, or place them near electrical household appliances! Suitable for use in open and semi-open areas.
    (Caravans, tents, under an umbrella, etc.)

  • When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:

  • Read all instructions before installing or using this heater.

  • This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, etc. and curtains at least 1500m from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.

  • Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.

  • Do not operate any heater after it malfunctions. Disconnect power at service panel and have heater inspected by a reputable electrician before reusing.

  • Do not use outdoors. Household use only.

  • To disconnect heater, turn controls to off, and turn off power to heater circuit at main disconnect panel (or operate internal disconnect switch if provided).

  • Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.

  • To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner.

  • A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable vapors or liquids are used or stored.

  • Use this heater only as described in this.

Important safeguards

When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:

  1. Read all instructions before installing or using this heater.
  2. This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, etc. and curtains at least 0.9 m from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.

  10. Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
  11. This heater may include an audible or visual alarm to warn that parts of the heater are getting excessively hot. If the alarm sounds (or illuminates), immediately turn the heater off and inspect for any objects on or adjacent to the heater that may have blocked the airflow or otherwise caused high temperatures to have occurred. DO NOT OPERATE THE HEATER WITH THE ALARM SOUNDING (OR ILLUMINATING).

Using the heater

Heaters produce fast and comfortable heat. Weather-resistant heaters are designed for outdoor and home, cafe and industrial heating applications. Plug your appliance into a suitable grounded socket

Use of Remote Control (*) Optional

Putting the Batteries:
Place two AAA/Alkaline type batteries inside the remote control. To insert the batteries, turn the remote control backwards and remove the cover of the battery compartment and put two new batteries according to the instructions on the battery compartment (marked with the + and – polarity symbols). Replace the batteries as described above.

CAUTION
Please put the batteries before using the remote control

NOTE:

  • Do not use old or different types of batteries when changing them. Otherwise, your remote control may not work correctly.
  • If you will not be using your remote control for a few weeks, remove the batteries. Otherwise, the battery leaks may damage the remote control.

CAUTION!
Overheating: In remote-controlled models, when the electronic card reaches 85° C or when the unit senses heat outside of its own program, the appliance warns by giving 1 minute alarm and stops the heating function

Wall connection diagram

There must be a minimum distance of 0,50m between the heater and adjacent walls and ceiling. In both wall and ceiling installations, the heater must be at least 1.8 m high to avoid touching the heater during use. Before drilling, make sure that there are no cables or any water pipes in the area where the heater is to be installed. The heater must be connected with the installation equipment provided. When installing the heater horizontally on the wall, it should not be positioned at an angle of less than 70° and more than 90°

Cleaning & Care

CAUTION!
Careful cleaning will provide that your appliance runs more efficiently and has longer life

  1. Before cleaning the appliance, switch it off and remove the power cable plug from the socket to ensure that the appliance cools down.
  2. If the reflector (reflective mirror) and the lamp are unclean, the appliance should be cleaned from the outside with dry air without opening the protective cage, if possible.
  3. The outer surface of the appliance should be cleaned with a cotton cloth or soft brush.
  4. Never use abrasive or eroding liquids to clean the appliance. These materials can damage plastic parts.
  5. Do not clean your appliance using steam cleaners.
  6. If damage or malfunction occurs, the appliance should be repaired by a qualified electrician or dealer/manufacturer.
  7. Any repair/maintenance work done by unauthorized persons are not covered by the warranty.
  8. Under no circumstances shall the manufacturer/dealer/exporter be liable for such cases.

You may solve the problems you may encounter with your product by checking the following points before calling the authorized service.

Device not working

  • Ensure that the appliance. Is plugged.
  • Check that there is no problems in the electrical installation.
  • Make sure you correctly apply the instructions of use.
  • If the problem persists, contact nearest.

Compliance with AEEE regulations and waste disposal
This product was manufactured from recyclable and reusable high-quality parts and materials. Therefore, do not dispose of this product with other domestic wastes at the end of its life cycle. Take it to a collection point for electrical and electronic equipment. You can ask your local administration about these collection points.
