This manual includes basic operational instructions for the Gentle Electric Bike. It cannot cover all situations of hypothetical injury. OPERATORS MUST USE GOOD JUDGMENT AND COMMON SENSE TO DETECT AND AVOID
HAZARDS AND DANGERS that they may encounter when riding the Gentle Electric Bike. By using the Gentle Electric Bike, you accept the inherent risks of operating this product.
IMPROPER USE OF THE PRODUCT AND NOT FOLLOWING THESE WARNINGS CAN CAUSE SERIOUS INJURIES.
ALWAYS USE CAUTION!

SAFETY

This product is designed for adults, age 18+ and it is not recommended for minors. Load capacity – one person, please do not carry two people at once. Rear-mounted luggage carrier is designed for a maximum load of 25 kg.
Always inspect the electric bike before use. Correct maintenance inspections may decrease the risk of accidents.
Please wear a safety helmet and other protective and signaling gear when riding the electric bike. Use an approved bicycle helmet properly fitted, with a chin strap that protects your chin and the back of the head. Local laws and regulations may require riders of two-wheeled vehicles to wear a helmet and other protective and signaling gear. Never ride the electric bike barefoot or wearing sandals or high heels.
You must not ride the bike on unsafe roads and remember to follow local rules and regulations when riding your bike.
Please practice riding your bike on large areas and ride it after you have acquired bike-handling techniques; avoid being a traffic hazard.
Make no dangerous movements while riding and avoid using just one hand on the handlebar. Keep your feet on the pedals of the electric bike.
Avoid riding the electric bike on the stairs because it could tip over, causing injury to the driver and/or cause damage to the electric bike.
The maximum speed is 25 km/h. For your safety, please adjust your speed to road conditions. Try to avoid using the product at night, and if necessary, ride your bike as slow as possible and turn on the headlights.
Do not use electric bike if the outside temperature is lower than 00 C, because the battery can be affected.
Reduce your speed in bad weather conditions.
Do not ride the electric bike on slippery or icy roads.
Adjust the handlebars and seat according to your height to ensure your safety.
To avoid damaging the electrical parts of the vehicle, please do not immerse this product in water and do not wash with running water under pressure.
To provide adequate protection of the electrical parts of the bike, please do not drive the electric bike on a bad weather, such as rain and strong wind.
Do not ride the GENTLE ELECTRIC bike after consuming alcohol.
Please do not use your mobile phone or other devices while using the GENTLE ELECTRIC bike.
The use of the GENTLE ELECTRIC bike in violation of the provisions contained in this manual is done at the user’s own risk and GENTLE ELECTRIC is relieved of any liability for any damages caused by inappropriate use of the product.

Folding:

Push the bike suport.
Pull the pedal until you can fold it, in the direction shown in picture 2. so that in the end looks like the one in picture 3.
Note! This step is available only for the V2 model
The folded pedal should look like the one in picture 3.
Open the clamp shown in pictures 4. and 5., but first unclip the safety catch shown in picture 6.

Now open the clamp as it is shown in picture 7.
Push down the handle bar until it looks like the one in picture 8.
Open the clamp shown in picture 9.; it should look like the one in picture 10.

Unlock the clamp like the one in picture 11.
To unlock the clamp, you need to lift the handle as shown in picture 12.
You now can push the front part of the bike towards it’s back part.
Your folded bike should look like the one in picture 14.

Unfolding:
To unfold the electric bicycle you have to follow the same steps as folding, but from the end to the beginning (from 14. to 1.).

FITTING AND ADJUSTING

Handlebar
To adjust the handlebar you need to open the clamp onto the handlebar (see Fig. 2), then place the handlebar in the position that ensures optimum comfort and finally to close/tighten the clamp (see Fig. 1 and Fig. 3).
Saddle
In order to adjust the forward/backward position of the seat, you need to loosen the screw nut under the saddle, then place the saddle so that it fits you perfectly and finally to tighten the screw not (see photo below).
To adjust the saddle height you needed to open the clamp under the saddle, then adjust the saddle at your desired position, and, finally, close the clamp (see photo below).

The product’s shell is made from ABS, transparent and with high strength Acrylic, being as strong as tempered glass. Dimensions: L 90 mm W 54 mm H 13.3 mm

Functional Description

Power On/Off
Press and hold POWER button for 2 seconds can turn on/off the display. The Display can automatically shut down when there is no operate & ride for 5 minutes.

Assist level operating
Short press UP/DOWN button can change the assist level. Top assist level is 9, 1 is the minimum. Level quantities can be adjusted according to the customer’s requirements.

Speed mode switch & Mileage mode switch
Short press the POWER button can change the speed mode & the mileage mode, Speed AVG Speed MAX Speed Trip ODO Time. E-TWOW-Fat-Bike-Booster-V2-Electric-

*If there is no operation for 5 seconds, display will return Speed (Real-Time) display automatically.

Lights On/Off
Press and hold UP button for 2 seconds can turn on/off the headlight and display light. The rear light can be turned on/off by pressing the button indicated in the picture below.
The motor does not work when the battery voltage is low, display still can keep the headlight on for a while when Gentle Electric bike is in riding.

Direct acceleration
Press and hold DOWN button for 2 seconds can get into direct acceleration, out of the mode when release the button.

Data clean up
Press and hold UP & DOWN buttons together for 1 second can reset several temporary data, temporary data include AVG Speed / MAX Speed / Trip / Time.

BATTERY AND CHARGER

Each GENTLE ELECTRIC bike is equipped with a lithium-ion battery and a special smart charger. These accessories that come with each product are assigned a unique serial number, please do not use chargers from other brands. If the product, battery or charger will be damaged due to the use of other brands accessories, our company shall not be held responsible.

Battery
Please fully charge the battery before first use of the GENTLE ELECTRIC bike. For future use, the battery can be charged at any time.

To extend the life of your battery, we recommend you to:

Make sure the tires are inflated every time you ride.
Make sure the chain of the electric bike is properly tensioned;
Balance the load on the bike and distribute weight evenly.
Caution: Do not use batteries from other brands, they will not work with this electric bike.
To extend the life of your battery, please fully charge it at least once every three months, even if you do not use the electric bike. Water immersion, collisions, and other abnormal factors will lead to battery damage, which is not covered under warranty.

Charger
The charging time is approximately 6 hours.

Charging process

Rotate the key in position “ON”, as sown in the picture below.
Open the protection cap situated on electric bike battery, and insert the charger plug into the charging jack, as shown in the picture below.
Plug the charger plug in the charger point.
The electric bike battery can be removed and charged separately
(As shown in the picture below); but in order to remove the battery you have to rotate the key on the battery in the position “UNLOCK” and fold the saddle by pressing the lever under it as shown in the picture below.
Note: While charging, the light indicator of the charger is red, when it turns green, the battery is fully charged and you can stop charging. If you want to check the charging process, you can press the button on the battery indicated in the picture below.

MAINTENANCE

Lubrication
Every six months, please add a small amount of grease or lubricants. Please inspect your electric bike monthly, to see if the screws are loosened.

Storage and maintenance
Do not expose the electric bike to direct sunlight and avoid exposing the product to wet conditions for too long. Please keep the electric bike clean and dry. Clean the bike using a soft cloth and mild soap.
Before each use, check if the electric bike has the tires inflated, according to the correct PSI indicated on the sidewall of the tire.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If the product does not operate normally by following the operating instructions, please contact your dealer or distributor.

HOW TO ASSEMBLE THE ELECTRIC BIKE

assemble the handlebar within the bike;
maintaining the position of the bars, fold and fasten the fastening screw (image 1) with a 6 mm Allen key;
unfold the bike handlebar in order to use it.
assemble the wing on the front fork using the M6 screw with a 5 mm Allen key and a 10 mm wrench.
remove the fork protection and assemble the wheel, so that the braking disk comes into the clamp;
assemble the fastening clutch through the hub of the front wheel, making sure that it is properly fastened.
with a 15 mm wrench, assemble the L-marked pedal on the hub on the left side, and the R-marked pedal on the right side.
place the saddle within the bike, making sure that it has the best travelling position for your height, by firmly fastening the clutch.

Before the first use, check the effectiveness of the brake and the fastening of all cbike screws.
