KEEP IN TOUCH WITH THE SURROUNDINGS

Sleepbuds ™ are used to mask noise and distracting sounds during sleep.
Therefore, they reduce the audibility of other sounds, such as alarms, warnings, and the voices of people and pets.

SET THE VOLUME TO THE APPROPRIATE

To adjust the masking of noise and other sounds, set the volume to an appropriate level. The volume level should be high enough to mask noise that makes it difficult to fall asleep, but should not reduce the ability to hear important sounds in the environment.

Set the volume to the lowest level in the Bose Sleep app, then gradually increase the volume to an appropriate level. The lower the volume, the more important sounds around you can be heard.

ADVICE ON VOLUME

If you want to ensure that important sounds around you are heard while using your sleepbuds ™, consider the following tips.

Basic tips

  • If you sleep next to another person, get help so you don’t miss important sounds around you when using your sleepbuds ™.

Advanced Tips
These tips are about reducing the effectiveness of sleepbuds ™ noise masking and making sounds around you more audible.

  • Use only one sleepbud ™.
  • Configure the current masking sound to be disabled when specified time instead of playing all night long. To do this, you can set a sleep timer for the current masking sound in the Bose Sleep app.
