IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Read these instructions.

  5. Do not use this apparatus near water.
  6. Clean only with dry cloth.
  7. Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
  8. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
  9. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong are provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
  10. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at the plugs, con-venience receptacles, and at the point where they exit from the apparatus.
  11. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.Unplug the apparatus during lightening sorts or when unused for long periods of time. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
  12. Disconnecting from mains: Switching off the POWER switch all the functions and light indicators of the Spottune Stream will be stopped, but fully disconnecting the  Spottune Stream from mains is done unplugging the power cord from the mains input socket. For this reason, it always shall remain readily operable.
  13. Equipment is connected to a socket-outlet with earthing connection by means of a pow-er cord.
  14. The marking information is located at the bottom of apparatus.
  15. The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus

SETTING UP

Placement

  • Place Spottune Stream transmitter freely and visible, not in closed compartments. Avoid placing near or with blocking metal materials around of Spottune Stream transmitter.
  • When installing, place Spottune Stream transmitter as central as possible in the audio system where the wireless speakers are placed. Spottune Stream transmits equally all around it.

How to install

  • Unbox and connect the Spottune Stream transmitter to power at its final placement
  • Connect your music player via minijack input “AUX IN”. Alternatively input USB with mu-sic content, or connect to network.

Setting up

  1. Start by placing and powering up your Spottune Omni speaker power at its final place ment.
  2. Connect Spottune Stream to your network via the LAN input on the backside of the Spottune Stream.
    You can also connect Spottune Stream to your network via WiFi, simply search for the Spottune Stream XX (MAC-ID) WiFi on your computer, tablet og mobiledevice and enter the IP address of the Spottune Stream (192.168.43.1) in you browser, then follow the instructions.
    In special versions
  3. Spottune Stream transmitter is automatically in “PAIRING MODE” – looking for Spottune Omni speakers in “PAIRING MODE” – when powering up for the first time.
  4. Pairing is done automatically, and the Spottune Stream transmitter will now show the paired Spottune Omni speakers in display.
  5. After 3 minutes Spottune Stream will automatically exit “PAIRING MODE”
  6. Paired Spottune Omni speakers and Spottune Stream transmitter will automatically con nect after future reboots.

Add Spottune Omni speakers

  1. Place and power up your new Spottune Omni speaker
  2. Your new Spottune Omni speaker will automatically be in “PAIRING MODE”, when power ing up the first time, and “Status LED” will flash green
  3. Enter “PAIRING MODE” on Spottune Stream transmitter by press and hold the “Zone button” for 5 seconds.
  4. Spottune Omni speaker will provide an audio feedback and change the “Status LED” color to green when paired.
  5. When paired, press and hold the “Zone button” on Spottune Stream transmitter for 5 sec onds, to exit “PAIRING MODE”.

Playing from music source

  1. Select “ZONE 1”, “ZONE 2” or “ZONE 1+2” by pressing “Zone button”.
  2. Select source by pressing “Music source button”. AUX, USB, NETWORK, BLUETOOTH (BT)*
  3. Control and adjust volume on Music navigation buttons “+” and “-“.
  4. Play/Pause, Previous/Forward to control the music with, source from USB, NETWORK, BLUETOOTH (BT)
    In special versions

Announcements

  1. Make announcement via the build-in microphone or connect your existing PA system to Spottune Stream transmitter via “MIC IN” input.
  2. Please note that Microphone announcements via the build in microphone or “MIC IN” input will get priority and mute normal music streaming.
  3. Press and hold the “microphone button” while speaking towards the microphone be neath the “microphone button”.
