JOYO R-15 Preamp House Guitar Effect

Thank you for purchasing this product! In order to use this product properly and safely, please read this owner’s manual carefully before operating this product, and keep it for future reference.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Don’t apply excessive force to the switches or controls.
Clean only with a clean dry cloth. Don’t use inflammable substances such as benzene, thinner, detergent and so on.
Do not place it in humid areas, so as to avoid damage to the internal circuits.
The operating voltage is DC9V, don’t exceed it, otherwise the product will malfunction.
The power adapter is not included in the packing list, please buy it separately.
Please make sure the polarity of your power adapter is the same with what is printed on its outer housing, any error on power polarity would cause damage to the product.
Please turn on your amplifier after this product is powered on.
Don’t dump this product with household garbage. Proper treatment can reduce pollution and health hazards. Please contact your local dealer for correct approaches.

EATURES

9 built-in preamps(18 preamp simulations in all), each amp features Clean Channel and Distortion Channel.
2 Footswitches, Footswitch A controls Clean Channel, and Footswitch B controls Distortion Channel, for the control of Clean Channel and Distortion Channel, you can choose and save any model you like from the 18 AMP models.
OFX LOOP interface for external FX pedal.
One built-in 4X12 IR cabinet simulation, 3-position toggle switch controls 3 modes of cabinet simulation: OFF. XLR:ON/6.35: OFF and XLR:ON/6.35: ON (Headphone Jack’s cabinet simulation is on, and not controlled by cabinet simulation.)

1.XLR Output Jack: Balanced Output (CAB SIM toggle switch controls whether the signal has cabinet simulation or not)
9-position tone selection toggle switch: 9-position tone selection toggle switch: select 9 built-in preamp modulation tones. (Please refer to tone list)
GAIN Knob: adjust the current channel’s Gain.
CAB SIM Toggle Switch: control 3 working modes of cabinet simulation.
TRE Knob: adjust the current channel’s high frequency.
MASTER Knob: adjust the pedal’s master volume.
VOL Knob: adjust the current channel’s volume.
LIFT Switch: this switch selects whether the XLR is grounded or not.
Footswitch A:Clean Channel control switch, also used for Clean Channel preset saving and channel switching. (For details, please refer to the operation)
Footswitch A indicator:Clean Channel’s working status indicator.
BASS Knob: adjust the current channel’s low frequency.
MID Knob: adjust the current channel’s mid frequency.
Footswitch B indicator: Distortion Channel working status indicator.
Footswitch B:Distortion Channel control switch, also used for Distortion Channel preset saving and channel switching. (For details, please refer to the operation)
INPUT Jack: guitar input jack.
MICRO USB :used for update firmware.
SEND Jack: send signal (FX LOOP).
DC 9V: Power Input Jack(320mA).
RETURN Jack: Signal return(FX LOOP).
Headphones:Headphone Output(Cabinet simulation is always on).
OUTPUT: Signal output( CAB-SIM toggle switch controls whether the signal has cabinet simulation or not).
Ambience light: Please refer to No.23 to set up ambience light mode.
Ambience control switch SYNC mode-The ambience light is flickering in sync with panel indicator when the tone parameters change. ALWAYS mode-The ambience light isn’t flickering in sync with panel indicator when the tone parameters change, but in yellow. OFF mode-the ambience light is off.

OPERATION

The upper part of Footswitch Ais LED indicator light, the default tone is Clean, its working conditions are as below: the default channel is A when it’s turned on, and the current LED light is on; The LED light flickers continuously(indicating the current channel’s tone has changed) when the current preamp tone or parameter is changed, now you need to tap and hold Footswitch A, so as to save the new parameter to A channel. The LED light keeps on flickering if you don’t operate like this, and the parameter already been changed remains the same. The upper part of Footswitch B is LED indicator light, the default tone is Distortion, the working condition is the same with Footswitch A. Press both Footswitch A and Footswitch B simultaneously, it’s Bypass mode.
