What’s In the box
Install D-Smart Life App
Steps to connect
- Make sure your phone is connected to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi with good reception.
- When logging in the D-Smart Life App, you may create a new account or use your existing account.
- Click on the “Add device” on the App and follow the connection procedure to connect the device.
- Select the device in the list of detected devices. Enter your Wi-Fi password and then scan the QR Code at the bottom of the device or input the PIN Code, and the device will connect to the Internet successfully.
Get ready to connect
- Plug in your Danale device. Please do not use other USB cables and power adapters that are not provided in the box.
- Constant red light means the device is starting up and ready for Internet connection. Then you can follow the connection steps on the App to connect the device.
Install your device
Mode 1: On a flat surface
Place the device on the desk, table or other planes.
Mode 2: On the wall
Please make sure you have completed the connection steps before installing the
device on the wall.
- Drill holes of 5mm diameter and 25mm depth at any height on the wall and insert the plastic plugs (you can find them in the optical installation kits).
- Use screws to attach the hanging bracket vertically to the wall.
- Install the device on the bracket, then rotate and secure the device.
It’s recommended to install the device upside down when the height is over 4.92 Ft(1.5m).
Mode3: On the ceiling
Please make sure you have completed the connection steps before installing the
device on the ceiling.
- Drill holes of 5mm diameter and 25mm depth on the ceiling and insert the plastic plugs (you can find them in the optical installation kits).
- Use screws to attach the mount to the ceiling.
- Install the device on the mount, then rotate and secure the device.
Specification of LED Light
- Constant red: The device is starting up.
- Flash red: Waiting for network configuration. (1 flash/sec)
- Flash white: Connecting router.(1 flash/sec)
- Fast flash white: The device is connected to the router, connecting with the cloud platform. (4 flashes/sec)
- Constant white: The device is online.
- Constant red: The user is viewing a live video.
Reset the device
If you are switching Wi-Fi networks or the device has been offline for a long
time, please press the Home Button on the device for 6 sec and complete the
connection steps after the prompt “The camera has been reset successfully”.
Change the account
Delete the device on the App before you change the account, and then complete
the connection steps with another account.
If you want to delete the account, the cloud storage and built-in eMMC storage bound to the account will also be cleared, please handle it with caution.

- This product is a precision electronic device. Do not use this product in an environment where water might get inside or humidity is above 90%, so as not to affect normal operation.
- For the best picture quality, avoid placing the camera next to or directly in front of a reflective surface such as a window or mirror, otherwise, parts of the image may be overexposed.
- Please make sure to place the device in a position to receive the best signal from the Wi-Fi router.
