PASCO PK 9031B Conductive Ink Pen - fig

About the Product

This is a disposable pen containing silver conductive ink. A line of silver ink has a resistivity of 50 to 125 μΩ·cm. Using the pen in conjunction with PASCO conductive paper  (PK-9025B and PK-9026) produces an insignificant voltage drop across the line. The paper has a resistivity of approximately 5000 Ω/square. The ink pen yields approximately  200 feet of continuous line and has a shelf life of approximately six months.

Notes

  • Before using, shake the pen vigorously with the cap on to disperse particles suspended in the ink.
  • Press the tip lightly against the paper and squeeze the barrel while writing.
  • Allow 3 to 5 minutes for the ink to dry at room temperature. Maximum conductivity requires 20 minutes of drying.
  • After each use, close the cap tightly on the pen to keep the ink from drying.
  • Store the pen in a refrigerator to maximize the shelf life.
