Before use:
Put in the drill bit into center hole and tighten the horizontal stud bolt.
Loosely screw the three cutting arms into the threaded lug of the guide rails.
DO NOT tighten!
If cannot turn, can add lubricating oil or water in the sliding tank. Caution
: do not use damaged cutting arms.
Adjust the bore diameter by turning the adjusting disc. There are 2 sets of
saw teeth, each set has 3 blades. One set of saw teeth can be adjusted from
19-102 mm and the other set of saw blades can be adjusted from 45-127 mm.
Make sure that the area behind the workpiece / material to be drilled is free
– no wooden / metal struts, water or power cables.
Clamp the hole saw tightly in the drill chuck of the power drill.
Secure the workpiece to be drilled by clamping or screwing it into place.
During and after use:
The hole saw must only be used for plaster board, OSB panels and chipboard and
wood with nail up to 30 mm thick!
Make sure to use the second grab handle on the power drill when drilling.
Make sure the the hole saw is rotating in a clockwise direction, disable
hammer drill mode.
Wear safety goggles and a dust mask.
Observe the recommended rotational speeds.
Ensure that a safe support is erected for drilling in the ceiling area or
outside your reach > DO NOT
drill while standing on a ladder/chair.
Do not insert the hole saw into the workpiece at an angle.
Avoid overlapping holes.
Unclamp the hole saw from the drill chuck of the power drill to adjust the
cutting arms.
Remove the drilling dust from the hole saw (e.g. brushing, knocking or blowing
it out) at regular
intervals to guarantee long-term adjustment of the cutting arms.
If it becomes difficult to adjust the hole saw, apply spray oil (e.g. WD-40).
The hole saw must not be used if it or ist components (e.g. cutting arms) are
damaged.
