How To Set Up

Remove the wrap from the product and pull out the tab to activate the battery.

How to take the first measurement

Update to the latest ios and watchOS. Turn on Bluetooth on your Apple Watch. Download the AURA App for your Phone and Apple Watch.

To take a measurement: Open AURA App on your Apple Watch Touch and hold the electrodes with the base of your thumb (shaded zone) Wait until the end of the measurement.

How to replace battery or loop

Use included guitar pick or credit card to remove the cover.

Insert a new CR1632 lithium 3V coin battery with the positive side facing up.

Replace loops in accordance with the big and small holes on the connector.

Replace the cover, making sure that it is set correctly. Press down the opposite corners of the cover simultaneously until it clicks.

  • AURA Strap 2 can lead to skin infections or irritation if not properly cleaned. Clean AURA Strap 2 regularly with a soft lint-free cloth. If a skin problem develops, discontinue use. If the problem persists, consult a physician.
  • Electrostatic shock
  • When using AURA Strap 2 in areas where the air is dehydrated, it is easy to build up static electricity and possible for your wrist to receive a small electrostatic discharge from AURA Strap 2. To minimize the risk of electrostatic discharge, avoid using AURA Strap 2 in arid environments, or touch a grounded unpainted metal object before putting AURA Strap 2 on.

Limited Warranty

The AURA Devices One Limited Warranty is a manufacturer’s warranty. It provides a warranty where it is not provided by consumer law and/or if its duration is less than one year. Consumers have the right to choose whether to claim service un- der the AURA One-Year Limited Warranty or their consumer law rights. Important: The AURA Devices One-Year Limited
Warranty terms and conditions shall not apply to consumer law claims. For further information about consumer law, please visit the AURA Devices website (www.auradevices.io/warranty) or contact your local consumer organization.

  1.  All claims made under the AURA Devices One-Year Limited Warranty will be governed by the terms set out in this warranty document.
  2. Your AURA Devices-branded hardware product (“Product”) is warranted ‘against defects in materials and workmanship for ONE (1) YEAR from the date of original retail purchase (“Warranty Period”) when used in accordance with AURA De. vices’ user manuals (refer to help.au radevices.io.). Under this warranty, you will be able to direct your claims to AU RA Devices even in situations where you purchased the AURA Devices Product from a third party. If a defect arises during the Warranty Period, AURA Devices, at its option will (1) repair the Product at no charge using new parts or parts that are equivalent to new in performance and reliability, (2) exchange the Product with a product with equivalent functionality formed from new and/ or previously used parts that are equivalent to new in performance and reliability or with your consent, a product that is at least functionally equivalent to the Product it replaces. This warranty excludes normal depletion of consumable parts such as batteries unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship and, damage resulting from abuse, accident, modifications, unauthorized repairs, or other causes that are not defects in materials and workmanship.
  3. AURA Devices does not warrant, represent, or undertake that it will be able to repair or replace any Product under this warranty without risk to and/or loss of information and I or data stored on the Product. In no event shall AURA Devices be liable for (a) loss or damage, which as of the Product’s purchase cannot be regarded as being caused by AURA Devic- es’ breach of these warranty terms; or (b) losses caused by the user’s fault, loss of data or loss of profits or benefits.
  4. Any limitations of liability in this warranty document shall not apply to (i) death or personal injury pursuant to any mandatory law on product liability; (i) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; (ii) in- intentional misconduct or gross negli- gence: (iv) or a culpable breach of major contractual obligations. A damages claim based on a breach of major contractual obligations or gross negligence will be limited to foreseeable damage typical for the sale contract concerned.

AURA Devices will provide warranty service through one or more of the following options

  • Mail-in service. If AURA Devices deter mines that your Product is eligible for mail-in service, AURA Devices will ask you to send the Product by specific ad- dress. AURA Devices will pay for ship ping to and from your location if instruc tions regarding the method of packag ing and shipping the Product are fol- 1owed.
  • Do-t-yourselt (DIY) parts service. DIY parts serviIce allows you to servIce your Product. If DIY parts service is available in the circumstances, the following pro- cess will apply.
  • Service where AURA Devices requires the return of the replaced Product or part. AURA Devices will ship a replace ment Product or component to you with installation instructions, if applicable, and any requirements for the return of the replaced Product or part.
  • Service where AURA Devices does not require the return of the replaced Product or part. AURA Devices will ship you free of charge a replacement Prod- uct or part accompanied by instructions on installation, if applicable, and any re quirements for the disposal of the re placed Product or part.
  • AURA Devices is not responsible for any labor costs you incur relating to DIY parts service. Should you require further assistance, contact AURA Devices by email: [email protected]. If any term is held to be illegal or unen forceable, it shall be severed from this warranty and the legality or enforceabili ty of the remaining terms shall not be af fected.
  • Software distributed by AURA Devices with or without the AURA Devices brand (including, but not limited to system software) is not covered by this Warranty. Please refer to the licensing agreement accompanying the software for details of your rights with respect to its use. AURA Devices does not warrant that the operation of the AURA Devices Product will be uninterrupted or error-free. AURA Devices is not responsible for damage arising from failure to follow in- instructions relating to the AURA Devices Product’s use.
  • This Warranty does not apply: (a) to con- Sumable parts, such as batteries or pro tective coatings that are designed to di- minish over time, unless failure has oc- Curred due to a defect in materials or Workmanship; (b) to cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents and broken plastic on ports unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship; (c) to dam- age caused by use with a third party component or product that does not meet the AURA Devices Product’s speci- fications (AURA Devices Product specifi- cations are available at www.auradevic es.com under the technical specifica- tions for each product and also available in stores); (d) to damage caused by acci- dent, abuse, misuse, Tire, earthquake or other external cause; to damage caused by operating the AURA Devices Product outside AURA Devices’s pub- lished guidelines; () to damage caused by service (including upgrades and ex pansions) performed by anyone who is not a representative of AURA Devices; (g) to an AURA Devices Product that has been modified to alter functionality or capability without the written permis sion of AURA Devices; to defects caused by normal wear and tear or oth- erwise due to the normal aging of the AURA Devices Product, () if any serial number has been removed or defaced from the AURA Devices Product, or () if AURA Devices receives information from relevant public authorities that the prod- uct has been stolen or other security measures designed to prevent unautho- rized access to the AURA Devices Prod- uct, and you cannot prove in any way that you are the authorized user or the product (e.g., by presenting proof of purchase).
  • This warranty is governed by and construed under the laws of the country in which the product purchase took place. For Australian consumers: The rights described in this warranty are in addition to the statutory rights to which you may be entitled under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 and other applicable Australian consumer protection laws and regulations. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Repair of the goods may result in loss of data. Goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair the goods.
  • AURA Devices is not responsible for any labor costs you incur relating to DIY parts service. Should you require further assistance, contact AURA Devices by email: [email protected]. If any term is held to be illegal or unenforceable, it shall be severed from this warranty and the legality or enforceability of the remaining terms shall not be affected. For Canadian Consumers: Residents of Quebec are governed by that province’s consumer protection legislation.
