For your own safety when using an electrical appliance please follow basic safety precautions, including:

  1. Do not use or store the steam cleaner outdoors.
  2. Any person using this product should be fully aware of the hazards involved. A responsible adult should always ensure the product is used under supervision or that adequate instruction has been given to adults with reduced physical, mental or sensory capabilities, or anyone with a lack of experience using a similar product. This product is not a toy.
  3. Use and store it out of the reach of children.
  4. Never leave the steam cleaner unattended whilst it is connected to the mains supply.
  5. The steam cleaner is not to be used if it has been dropped or if there are any signs of damage.
  6. Never submerge the steam cleaner into any liquids.
  7. Always unplug from the mains supply and allow the steam cleaner to cool completely before removing or changing any of the attachments.
  8. Use only as described in this manual. Use only attachments recommended by the manufacturer.
  9. Do not pull or carry the steam cleaner by the cord.
  10. To avoid the risk of damage to glass, never use the appliance on frozen windows.
  11. Do not use to clean electrical appliances such as microwaves or televisions.
  12. Do not aim the steam towards people, animals or plants.
  13. This steam cleaner is intended for household use only and not for industrial or commercial use.
  14. Return to retailer if defects are found before use.
  15. Warning! The appliance heats up in the operation therefore do not touch the hot surface; use only the grasps or buttons. Always let the appliance cool down, before accessories are removed or attached from it.
  16. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
  17. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
  18. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their  safety.
  19. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  20. Do not leave the appliance unattended while it is switched on. Unplug the appliance from the mains supply socket before each cleaning/maintenance and before you fill/empty the water tank.
  21. The appliance must be kept out of children’s reach and can’t be used by children.
  22. In order to ensure safety, the appliance should only be assembled as set out in the instructions for use and connected and operated in accordance with the model plate. Use only the accessories, which are recommended by the manufacturer.
  23. Warning: Filling aperture must not be opened during use.
  24. Liquid or steam not directed towards equipment containing.

Before first use

Remove all of the steam cleaner parts and accessories from its packaging.

Danger of scalding
WARNING:
This steam cleaner becomes extremely hot during operation. Use caution to avoid the risk of scalding. Do not attempt to install or remove any accessories until the steam cleaner has cooled completely.

Filling with water

  1. Always ensure that the steam cleaner is disconnected from the mains supply prior to filling.
  2. Remove the safety cap by pushing it down and turning anticlockwise.
  3. Position the funnel provided into the steam cleaner opening.
  4. Fill up the measuring cup provided to the 175ml mark and pour into the funnel. The maximum capacity of the tank is 250ml, do not overfill.
  5. Securely replace the safety cap onto the steam cleaner.
  6. Never use chemically descaled water, detergents or vinegar as they may cause damage. If you live in a hard water area, it is advisable to use distilled water.
  7. If the steam cleaner needs to be refilled whilst in use, unplug from the mains supply and loosen the safety cap allowing any remaining steam to slowly escape. Once completely cool, the steam cleaner can be refilled.

Safety switch

  1. The safety switch is to prevent scalding and potential accidents.

  2. To activate the steam, the safety switch must be pushed forward before pressing down on the
    steam button.

  3. To prevent steam escaping before it is required, ensure that the safety switch has been
    activated before plugging in and switching on the steam cleaner at the mains supply.

  4. Release the steam switch when the steam function is no longer required – the safety switch will then automatically activate.

Using the steam cleaner

This multi-functional handheld steam cleaner comes with a wide range of attachments allowing you to clean a variety of surfaces quickly and efficiently whilst eliminating bacteria. Ideal for use on sinks, work surfaces, tiles, windows, mirrors and for spot cleaning on flooring and upholstery to remove stubborn stains, dirt, mould and grime.

  • Plug the steam cleaner into the mains supply and switch on. The power indicator light will illuminate.
  • It will take approximately 4 minutes for the steam cleaner to heat up. The power indicator light will switch off automatically once the steam cleaner has heated – it is now ready for use.
  • Push the safety switch forwards, then press and hold the steam button. Continuous steam time: 8-10 minutes.
Fitting attachments

The following tools are designed to connect straight on to the main body. To fit attachments simply align the (I) on the tool with the (I) on the main body, push firmly and tum it clockwise to secure it into position. To remove, tum the attachment anticlockwise and gently pull away from main body.
Caution: Ensure attachment is fitted before use. Do not attempt to fit or remove any attachments whilst in operation or until the steam cleaner has completely cooled down.

Wide steamer tool

  1. Used with the wide steamer cloth, this tool can be used to spot clean on floors carpets, sofas and soft furnishings.
  2. This tool can also be used to freshen garments and remove creases.
  3. Check the garments’ care label to ensure it can withstand the steam.
  4. Never use the steam cleaner to treat items of clothing that are still being worn on the body.
  5. To fit the wide steamer cloth, stretch it over the wide steamer tool allowing the elasticated edges to hold it securely into position.

Glass cleaner tool

  1. This tool is used to clean windows and flat glass products such as mirrors.
  2. To fit, slot the wide steamer tool onto the glass cleaner tool until it clicks into place.

Extension hose

  1. This accessory can be used with other tools to extend the reach for easier cleaning.
  2. To fit the chosen attachment to the extension hose, simply align the holes and push finnly until both sections have locked into place.

Jet nozzle
This tool is used to clean deeper crevices such as tiles and grout lines. The following tools can be attached to the jet nozzle.

  • Curved nozzle tool

Curved nozzle/brush tool

  1. Used with the jet nozzle, these attachments can provide easier access to hard-to-reach places such as the area around taps and oven interiors.
  2. Push the curved nozzle tool or the brush tool securely into place onto the end of the jet nozzle.

Cleaning fabrics

  1. Before proceeding, check the garments’ care label to ensure it can withstand the steam.
  2. Fit the wide steamer tool and the microfibre cloth, as instructed previously.
  3. Prepare the garments to be steamed, push the safety switch forwards, then press and hold the steam button. Run the steam cleaner over the garments until desired effect is achieved.

Cleaning glass surfaces

  1. Fit the glass cleaning tool, as instructed previously.
  2. Push the safety switch forwards, then press and hold the steam button.
  3. Move the steam cleaner over the area to be cleaned.
  4. It is advisable to use the steam button moderately when cleaning windows.

Cleaning flooring

  1. Fit the extension hose, as instructed previously, then fit the required attachment.
  2. Push the safety switch forwards, then press and hold the steam button.
  3. Move the steam cleaner over the area to be cleaned.
  4. When using the brush tool for cleaning sealed flooring only apply light pressure.

Advice

  1. Some surfaces, objects and fabrics may not be suitable for the application of steam. Never use the steam cleaner on heat sensitive/delicate surfaces such as waxed floors, unsealed hard floors, leather, suede and velvet.
  2. It is recommended to carry out a sample cleaning test on areas and surfaces before using the steam cleaner. If the color or appearance of the surface is affected, do not proceed.
  3. Before using on fabrics, it is advisable to check the garments’ care label to ensure the material can withstand the heat from the steam.

After Use

  1. Switch off the steam cleaner before disconnecting from the mains supply.
  2. Allow the steam cleaner to cool completely before carefully removing any of the attachments.
  3. Although the steam cleaner has been disconnected, the pressure still produces steam. Push the safety switch forwards, then press and hold the steam button and allow to run until all of the steam has been used. This will reduce the pressure inside the steam cleaner.
  4. Slowly and carefully loosen the safety cap by pushing it down and turning anticlockwise.
  5. Once the safety cap has been loosened, any remaining steam will slowly be released from steam cleaner. Allow it to cool for approximately 5 minutes and then remove the safety cap.
  6. Any water that may remain in the water tank (either left over or as a product of condensation) should be emptied at the end of each use prior to storage.
  7. Wipe all surfaces of the steam cleaner with a soft cloth.
  8. Clean the attachments in warm, soapy water and allow to dry.
  9. Store the steam cleaner in a cool and dry place. Do not leave it exposed to sunlight or rain.

Cleaning the microfibre cloth

  1. The microfibre cloth is machine washable on a warm setting; always use a mild detergent. For best results, lay flat to dry.
  2. Do not use fabric softener or bleach when cleaning the microfibre cloth.

Troubleshooting

Reduced steam, or no steam Possible solutions;

  • Fill the water tank
  • Clean the steam nozzle
  • Ensure the steam cleaner is plugged in

Unit will not turn on

  • Possible solutions;

  • Replace the fuse

  • Plug the cord into a working circuit
    The steam button does not work
    Possible solutions;

  • Ensure the safety switch is unlocked Safety cap will not open

  • Loosen the cap to release the remaining steam (excess pressure). Allow to cool completely and fully remove cap safely.

Disposal
Products that contain this symbol must be disposed of separately from other household waste.
The product must be sent to separate recovery or recycling facilities for correct disposal.
