INSTRUCTIONS
POWER ON/OFF
Long press the POWER button for 2 seconds to power on/off the speaker, the speaker will enter Bluetooth mode by default.
BLUETOOTH MODE
BLUETOOTH PAIRING
Turn on the speaker, operation indicator shows flashing means ready to be
paired. Turn on your mobile/other device Bluetooth function and search for
available devices, find XENEO X21 then connect it. The speaker will play a
long prompt tune and the operation indicator will stop flashing and shows
solid white. Short Press the BLUETOOTH button to quickly enter Bluetooth mode
from any other modes.
BLUETOOTH MUSIC
Use your mobile/another device’s built-in music player or 3rd party player to play selected music, the soundtrack can be switched from either device or speaker. Note: We suggest you download HQ music to get an optimal listening experience.
MOBILE HANDS-FREE COMMUNICATION
Short Press the PLAY button to answer the incoming call Short Press again to hang up the call
Long press the PLAY button to refuse any incoming call
- Disconnect Current Bluetooth Connection Long press the PLAY button to disconnect the current Bluetooth connection. Speaker will play a short prompt tune. The speaker has cleared the memory of previously connected device and is ready to be paired with the previous or another device.
- TWS (True Wireless Stereo) Pairing
- Power on two X21 Speakers and switch both two speakers to Bluetooth mode and disconnect any Bluetooth connections.
- Long press the PLAY button for 2 seconds on any of the speakers (the speaker you press button will be the MASTER speaker, the other one will be the SLAVE speaker) to start TWS pairing, the master speaker will prompt “TWS Paired” after 6-8 seconds, the operation indicator of slave speaker will show solid blue, the indicator of the master speaker will keep flashing in white (meaning ready for Bluetooth pairing)
- Now connect your device with the master speaker via Bluetooth, please note ONLY the master speaker can be connected. Now start to enjoy the stunning left/ right channel stereo.
- TWS mode also works at AUX-in mode, please note to make the TWS paring first, then plug in the 3.5mm AUX cable into the master speaker, the master speaker will be switched to AUX-in mode automatically. (FM & SD card mode does not support TWS)
- Long press the PLAY button for 2 seconds again to disconnect TWS pairing, master speaker will prompt “TWS Cleared”, and the operation indicator of both speakers will flash in white. Long Press the PLAY button again for reconnecting TWS.
NOTES
- You may have to own two of X21 speakers to make the TWS pairing.
- The paring time of 2 never-been-paired speakers could take up to 60 seconds.
- When you power off one of the speakers under TWS pairing mode, both speakers will be powered off.
- The mode switch button of the slave speaker won’t work at TWS pairing mode, if you press the mode switch button of the master speaker, the TWS pairing will be disconnected automatically.
MICRO SD CARD MUSIC PLAYING
Inserting Micro SD Card into speaker card slot, short press POWER button to switch to SD card mode, the speaker will prompt “memory card mode” then start to play the Micro SD card music, short press + or – switch to next or previous track. Micro SD card supports max. up to 32G.
Aux in Mode
Use the 3.5mm audio cable included to connect the speaker to an audio source (PC, MP3/MP4, mobile phone). Short press POWER button to enter “AUX IN” mode (speaker will prompt “Aux-in mode”). The speaker will play the music from the audio source.
NOTES
- Track switch button of the speaker does not work under AUX-in Mode, you can only switch soundtrack from the audio source device.
- Press to mute the speaker, but the audio source will still play music.
- FM Radio
Short press the POWER button to switch to FM mode, the speaker will prompt “FM mode” Long press the PLAY button to scan available FM channels, each available FM channel will be previewed for 3 seconds, then the speaker will stay on the last available channel. Short press + or – to switch channels.
NOTES
- You may long-press PLAY button to rescan available channels when you change location.
- Plug in 3.5mm Aux cable to strengthen FM reception if your location has poor radio coverage.
- CARD READER
Power off the speaker, insert a Micro SD card then use the USB cable to connect the speaker to a computer. The speaker will enter the card reader mode, you can copy sound track file into the Micro SD card directly.
NOTES
- The first time using this function, the computer may need to install the driver automatically.
INTELLIGENT POWER SAVING FUNCTION
- Under Bluetooth mode, the speaker is not playing for more than 20 minutes or disconnected for more than 20 minutes. Speaker will auto shut off.
- Under Aux-In mode, Memory card mode, and FM mode, if pause or mute for more than 20 minutes, the speaker will auto shut off.
- Speaker will enter power saving mode when the remaining battery power is less than 15% (speaker will prompt 3 DUDU tune ) and decrease volume to 50% to protect the speaker battery from excessive consumption.
- CHARGING
- To connect the speaker via with package included a Micro USB cable, then use a 5V 1A power adaptor to plug into a power source. You will find the charging port from flip-up rubber patch.
- Charge the speaker via USB cable when the speaker enters into power saving mode, the power indicator will keep flashing in white during charging, and show solid white when fully charged.
- Please note to use a good quality power adaptor with 5V 1A, a full charge will take around 4-5 hours, if the power adaptor is only 5V 0.5A, the charging time could be doubled.
