Camera Safety Precautions
- Read this guide carefully and keep it for future reference.
- Follow all instructions for safe use and handling of the product.
- Do not disassemble the camera.
- Do not point the camera directly at the sun or a source of intense light.
- Periodic cleaning may be required. Use a damp cloth only. Do not use any harsh, chemical-based cleaners.
All batteries can explode, catch fire, and cause burns if it has been cut, crushed, disassembled, punctured, incinerated, short-circuited, or exposed to water, fire or high temperatures. Safely and responsibly install, use, and dispose of batteries.
Battery Safety Precautions
- Only use lmou batteries. Contact us if you are unsure whether a replacement battery is compatible.
- Do not expose batteries to fire, heat, or water.
- Do not drop, crush, disassemble or otherwise damage batteries.
- Keep away from small children and pets.
- Do not use batteries at temperatures above 60°( (140°F) or place batteries next to areas which may become hot.
- Do not charge at temperatures below o•c (32°F) or above 45°( (1 l 3°F).
- Keep batteries isolated from flammable or explosive materials. Batteries not in use should be stored in a safe, cool, dry place, individually in a plastic holder or container, away from all metal objects to avoid short circuit.
- Make sure the battery contacts are always aligned, and the battery compartment is empty and free of any moisture or loose debris before inserting the battery. Always keep the battery compartment dry even after installation.
- Always follow local waste and recycling laws and guidelines to dispose of used batteries.
- Do not use a battery if its case appears damaged, swollen, or compromised. Examples include, but are not limited to, leaking, odors, dents, corrosion, rust, cracks, swelling, melting, and scratches.

Overview
How to reset the camera
Press and hold the reset button for 10 s until you hear the beep and the LED
turns solid red.
See the table below for meanings of camera’s LED behavior.
Set Up the Device
Scan the QR code below, search for “lmou Life” in the app store, or navigate
in your browser to
www.imoulifelsupportldownloadlapp
to download and install the app.
To ensure the best possible wireless performance, please make sure there are
no obstacles and electromagnetic interference between the device and the
router.
The app will guide you through the setup process.
Install the Battery
- The battery comes partially charged. We recommend you fully charge the battery before installation.
- Make sure that the battery clicks into the right place.
Charge the Battery
Install the Camera
- Make sure that the mounting surface is strong enough to hold at least three times the weight of the camera and the bracket.
- Use the camera at temperatures from -2o•c (-4°F) to +so•c (+ 122°F).
Step 1 Peel off the mounting template and stick it to the mounting surface.
Step 2 Drill screw holes as the mounting template marks, and then insert wall
anchors as needed.
Step 3 Place the mounting plate and secure it with included screws. Be sure to
follow the “UP” direction.
Step 4 Turn the mounting bracket clockwise to the camera to tighten.
Step 5 (Optional) If you are using the camera connected to a charging cable,
place the cable along the cable trunking of the bracket.
Step 6 Attach the bracket onto the four tabs of the plate with the mark
pointing up, and then slide the camera down to secure it. A click sound will
indicate that the camera is locked in.
Step 7 Swivel to adjust the camera angle.
How to detach the camera from the mounting plate
To detach the camera, following the mark on the bracket, gently but firmly push up the bracket until it is released from the mounting plate.
Troubleshooting
Q: Failed to set up the device?
- Ensure your smart phone and the device are within range of your Wi-Fi router, recommended to be no more than 5 m (16 ft). If the location where the camera is installed has a weak signal, consider adding a Wi-Fi extender between your router and the camera.
- Ensure the LED on the device is fiashing green before setup.
- Reset the device, and then set it up again.
Q:The device is offline?
- Check if the battery has run out of power.
- Press the reset button or trigger motion detection to wake up the camera, and then check the LED indicator. If it is fiashing red, check whether the router can connect to the Internet. If the network is connected, reset the device.
Q: The camera fails to detect motion and has a strong reflection when
recording through glass?
The camera’s motion sensor will not work when recording through glass or any
other building material. Place the camera outside when you want to monitor
motion outdoors.
Q: The battery drains too fast?
- Lots of motion events
- If the camera is capturing an excessive number of events every day, you can enable “Human Detection”, decrease the detection sensitivity, or disable certain zones.
- If the camera is being used in a high traffic area, use an optional power adapter, consider obtaining a solar panel, or adjust the angle of your camera to avoid busy areas like roads or sidewalks.
- Live streaming Using live view often takes a lot of battery power.
- Weak Wi-Fi signal Ensure that the wireless connection between the camera and the router is strong. The weaker the signal, the higher the power consumption.
- Low temperature Cold temperatures affect the battery’s capacity to work The battery starts failing to hold its charge if your camera is in cold temperatures outside.
