  • WARNING: DO NOT leave speaker in any location with excessive heat.

  • WARNING: DO NOT splash or immerse in water or other liquids.
  • WARNING: DO NOT store or use the speaker in locations where the temperature may reach or exceed 105° F (40″ C) (such as outside sheds or metal buildings in summer).
  • For best ltte, store speaker in a cool, dry location. The speaker should not be disposed of as municipal solid waste. To recycle it, contact your local hazardous waste processor or contact Call 2 Recycle® on their website, call2recycle.org, or by phone at 877-273-2925 to find the nearest drop-off location for lithium-polymer batteries.
  • WARNING: Bum hazard. Battery liquid may be flammable tt exposed to spark or flame.

WARNING: Fire hazard. Never attempt to open the battery pack for any reason. If the battery pack is cracked or damaged, do not insert the charging cable. Do not crush, drop or damage the battery.

Do not use the speaker if it has received a sharp blow, been dropped, run over or damaged in any way (e.g. pierced with a nail, hit with a hammer, stepped on).

Damaged batteries should be returned to a service center for recycling.

GETTING STARTED

CHARGE THE SPEAKER
Connect the Type C end of the charging cable into the speaker and the USB end into a power source. Make sure the speaker is fully charged before using it for the first time,

PAIR THE SPEAKER WITH YOUR BLUETOOTH DEVICE
Press and hold the speaker’s ON/OFF button for 2 seconds to turn the speaker on. If not previously paired, the speaker will automatically enter pairing mode. If the speaker has been previously paired, it will automatically enter pairing mode after 20 seconds of reconnecting timeout.
Alternatively, if the speaker is turned off, you can press and hold the ON/OFF button for 6 seconds to enter pairing mode.

  • When turning on the speaker, you will hear, “POWER ON – Battery HIGH (or MEDIUM or LOW)-Pairing.” While in pairing mode, the speaker’s LED light will flash red and blue. If unable to connect to a previously paired device after 20 seconds, the speaker will remain in pairing mode and will automatically turn off after 3 minutes of unsuccessful connection.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth function of your Bluetooth device and pair the speaker with your Bluetooth device.
  • When successfully connected to a phone or other Bluetooth device, the speaker’s blue LED light will stay on for 1 second and you will hear, “Your device is connected”.

THE FOLLOWING DIRECTIONS SHOW YOU HOW TO FIND THE SPEAKER ON BLUETOOTH DEVICE

Turn on the Bluetooth function of your Bluetooth device and select “DEWALT WEARABLE SPEAKER”. Enter the speaker’s password “0000” if prompted. For Bluetooth devices featuring Bluetooth 3.0 or higher, no need to enter a password.

PAIR THE SPEAKER WITH ANOTHER BLUETOOTH DEVICE
If you have another Bluetooth device that you want to pair wtth the speaker, make sure the Bluetooth function in any other previously paired or connected devices are turned off. You will hear, “Your device is disconnected.” Then follow the steps in “PAIR THE SPEAKER WITH YOUR BLUETOOTH DEVICE.”

CONNECT THE SPEAKER TO YOUR BLUETOOTH DEVICE
Turn on the Bluetooth function of your Bluetooth device. Press and hold the speaker’s ON/OFF button for 2 seconds to turn the speaker on. The speaker will search for the previously connected Bluetooth device and reconnect to it automatically. If the last connected device is not available, the speaker will search and reconnect to the next most recently connected device. If no device is found, the speaker will automatically turn off after 3 minutes.

CONTROLS

  •  To turn speaker ON: Press and hold the ON/OFF button for 2 seconds.

  •  To turn speaker OFF: Press and hold the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds.
    MANAGE YOUR MUSIC:

  •  To play or pause music:
    Press the ON/OFF button once

  •  Forward (next song): Press and hold “+” button for 1 second

  •  Volume increase: Press “+” button

  • Backward (previous song): Press and hold ” -” button for 1 second

  • Volume decrease: Press ” -” button

CALL CONTROL

USE THE ON/OFF BUTTON

  • Answer/Hang up:
    Press the ON/OFF button
    Reject incoming call:
    Press and hold the ON/OFF button for 1 second

  •  Switch caller during call:
    Double-click the ON/OFF button

  •  Voice Control – Siri/Google:
    Double-click the ON/OFF button

LED INDICATOR – USING SPEAKER

  • Speaker is powered on:
    The Red and Blue LED flashes 1 second

  •  Speaker is pairing to a Bluetooth device:
    The Red and Blue LED flashes alternately

  •  Speaker is connected to a Bluetooth device:
    The Blue LED stays on for 1 second

  •  Speaker is powered on and not connected to a Bluetooth device:
    The Red and Blue LED flashes. If no connection can be made, the speaker will power itself off after 3 minutes.

LED INDICATOR – CHARGING SPEAKER

100% power= Green LED light stays on until cable is disconnected 80% – 99% power = Green LED light flashes
20% – 80% power = Blue LED light flashes
0% – 20% power = Red LED light flashes

LOW BATTERY LEVEL:

The Red LED light will flash 2 times per second and you will  hear the “battery low” tone once every minute.
Speaker features an IP56 rating for protection against dust and water.

FACTORY RESET

  1. Long press the ON/OFF button for 6 seconds on turned off device to enter pairtng mode.
  2.  Once in pairing mode, double click the ON/OFF button to reset. You will hear a beep and the red and blue lights will flash 5 times simultaneously.

Note: If your speaker was previously paired, be sure to “Forget this device” or “Unpair” in your Bluetooth device’s “paired devices” list before resetting.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR ALL RECHARGEABLE BATTERY PACKAGING
The battery is not fully charged out of the box. Before using the speaker, read the safety instructions below and then follow the charging procedures outlined.
Do not incinerate the battery module even if it is severely damaged or is completely worn out. The battery can explode in a fire. Toxic fumes and materials are created when lithium batteries are burned. If battery contents come into contact with the skin, immediately wash area with mild soap and water. If battery liquid gets into the eye, rinse water over the open eye for 15 minutes or until irritation ceases. If medical attention
is needed, the battery electrolyte is composed of a mixture of liquid organic carbonates and lithium salts. Contents of opened battery cells may cause respiratory irritation. Provide fresh air. If symptoms persist, seek medical attention. This speaker is splash and water resistant and was tested under controlled laboratory conditions with a rating of IP56 under

IEC standard 60529. Splash and water resistance are not permanent conditions and resistance might decrease as a result of normal wear. Do not attempt to charge wet speaker. To dry your speaker, tap it gently against your hand with the port cover open to remove excess liquid. Leave your speaker in a dry area with some airflow. Placing your speaker in front of a fan blowing cool air directly onto the speaker might help the drying process. Liquid damage is not covered under warranty.

STORAGE RECOMMENDATIONS

  1. The best storage place is one that is cool and dry, away from direct sunlight and excess heat or cold.
  2.  For long storage, tt is recommended to store the speaker in a cool dry place for optimal results.
