Smart Life App Setup
When logging into the Smart Life App for the rst time, the App will require you to enter a username and password. Allow permissions and locations on your device for best results. Creating a Home Group Add a home group to help identify all your Smart
Life devices in your home.

  1.  Add a home group to help organize all your Smart Life devices in your home.
  2.  Enter your family name and set your location. Choose one of the preselected rooms from the list and add your own custom rooms if needed.
  3.  Select Register from the home screen to proceed to registration process. If you are already Life a Smart registered user, you can select the login option from the bottom of the screen.
  4. Select register by email or text message from the top of the screen and enter the required information to receive your login registration code.
  5.  Input your registration code that was received via email or text message.
  6.  Create a unique password for your account using letters and numbers. After password the App entering your will automatically bring you to the home screen. Device Group Tip: Have multiple homes or a home and oce with Smart Life devices? Device groups can help you access and organize these locations with ease

Setting Up the Light

  1.  Plug the light bar USB power cable into any USB power source. The light bar will flash indicating the light is ready to pair with your device.
  2.  Download the included Smart Life App from the App Store® or Google Play™ to your smartphone. Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device.

Bluetooth® Connection Setup

  1.  Launch the Smart Life App and press Add Device from the middle of the screen.
  2.  A pop up window will appear on the screen telling you to add the device to the screen. Press Go to add to continue.
  3.  The screen will prompt you that the device was found and added successfully. next to Click proceed to the next screen, add room tags from the list and click done.

Basic App Controls

  1. Once setup is complete, the App will load to your home screen where you control all of your devices. Select SG Light Bar from the menu to navigate to the controls.
  2. Press power on the bottom of the screen to turn the light on and o. Move the slider bar left and right to adjust the brightness of white light to your preference.
  3.  Press Color to adjust the light color, saturation and color brightness settings.
  4.  Press Scene Mode to select from one of 8 lighting preset modes and customized presets that you can set to your favorite colors.
  5.  Select Music to have the light automatically move to the music.
  6.  Select Timer from the bottom of sthe screen to automatically have light the turn on/off as specific times

Stand Installation

  1.  The light has one mounting hole on the bottom and one mounting hole on the side for use in horizontal or vertical configurations. To install the simply press stand, the stand tab into one of the mounting holes on the flat end of the light with base facing forward.
  2.  Place light on any level surface
  3. Remote Control and Operation
  4.  Remove the plastic tab on the back of the remote control.
  5.  Press the ON button on the top right of the remote control to power on. Note: The LED lights can be controlled by both the included App download or the included remote control. Advanced functions like music mode and timer mode can only be used within the App

Replacing the Remote Control Battery

  1.  Pinch the end of the battery tray with your finger and slide open the bottom of the remote control to open the battery compartment.
  2.  Place a fresh “CR2025” battery with the positive side facing up into tray and the slide the battery tray back into the remote when finished

Remote Control Buttons
See the diagram above to identify each button.

  • The remote features 16 color options to choose from including white. Each color can be further changed with the dimmer buttons for soft or bright LED illumination.
  •  Select from one of the 4 pre-programmed light modes such as flash, strobe, fade, and smooth for a colorful light show.
  •  The remote control operates the lights from up to 13 ft away. When using the remote, it must have a clear view to the light properly and receive bar-to-work signals.

Adding Additional Lights
Connect two separate Bluetooth® light bars to the Smart Life App. Once connected, go to the Smart Life home screen and tap one of the two lights to enter the control screen. From the light control screen, Tap in the upper right corner to enter the settings screen for the light.

  1.  Tap “Create Group” to search for connected Bluetooth® lights that can be grouped.
  2.  Select lights you would wish to group from the list and name the group.
  3.  The group will appear on your home screen & will control both lights simultaneously
