QUICK START USER GUIDE

Turning your watch on and off
To turn on your watch, press and hold the crown for three seconds.

Download and launch the Louis Vuitton App application to access exclusive content (dials, features, Louis Vuitton applications, and more).

This application is available:

• on the App Store or Google Play Store for most users
• or, for users who have configured their watch in Simplified Chinese, on Tencent App Gem.

Recharge the battery

connect the cable’s USB port to the charging cradle and plug the cradle onto a power source.
Position the cradle on the back of your watch, on the side with charging pins
The charger’s internal magnets ensure that it is correctly positioned under the watch. When properly positioned, the charger should be perfectly flush with the watch.
The charging screen appears on the watch once charging begins. Once the watch is sufficiently charged, it will turn on automatically.

Changing the strap

Slide the button that detaches the strap, then remove the strap.
Holding the new strap, slide the button down and hold it there while positioning the strap at the level of the lug, then release the button to lock the new strap in place.

Before wearing your watch, check to ensure that your new strap is securely in place by pulling gently on it. Louis Vuitton cannot be held responsible for any concerns that may arise from improper or incomplete steps taken while changing the strap.

Caution! Before you begin to use the Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon, please read the following instructions which contain important safety and regulatory information. Please keep these instructions in a safe place so that you can refer to them when needed.

To enjoy the full benefit of your Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon as well as the full set of applications available, we highly recommend that you use your Louis Vuitton Tambour horizon in conjunction with the Louis Vuitton App.
The Louis Vuitton App is available for free via Apple App Store or Google Play Store, except for China where it is available for free via Apple App Store or Tencent App Gem.
Although your Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon can operate without the Louis Vuitton App, some features of your Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon will be available only once you download the Louis Vuitton App (exclusive watch faces, …).

Safety and handling instructions

I.1. Main characteristics of your Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon

The Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon is a luxury watch that includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, the frequency communications (NFC°? and contactless payment functions. It also includes a heart rate sensor and a step counter. The Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon is not intended to be used as a medical device The Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon requires a phone running Android 4.4+ or iOS 9+. Supported features may vary between platforms.
The Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon requires the use of the charging accessories provided with it. The accessories provided with your Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon contain a USB C cable, a charging cradle, and a universal adaptor. You will find further details on electrical safety recommendations concerning the use of the charging accessories below.
Performance and handling: for optimal performance of the heart rate sensor, your watch and strap must be snugly fitted to the wrist. If you want to measure your heart rate while practicing sports, wearing your watch with a steel bracelet may not be an optimal choice as it can be difficult to tighten properly.
You can disable the watch’s Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, contactless payment, heart rate sensor, and step counter functions by following the steps below:  if your screen is dim, touch the screen to wake up the watch;

• swipe down from the top of the screen;
• find the Settings icon (), then touch to select;
• go to “Connectivity and”, touch Wi-Fi/Bluetooth ®/NFC settings depending on which you want to turn off;
• if Wi-Fi/Bluetooth  ® /NFC to turn it off or disable it. /NFC is set to Automatic, tap the toggle switch next to either Wi-Fi/Bluetooth ®to turn it off or disable it.

I.2. Important safety precautions

Please note that failure to comply with the following guidelines may cause malfunctions or be hazardous to the user and/or exclude, void or reduce the benefit from the International Limited Guarantee and/or US Limited Warranty.
Some tutorials are available in the Louis Vuitton App to guide you through using your Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon in the most appropriate manner.

I. 2.1 Using the Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon and its accessories safely

Keeping your Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon safe

General
Do not use or store the Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon and its accessories in dusty, dirty areas as its components may be damaged.
Do not store the Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon and its accessories in warm areas or under direct sunlight. High temperatures can shorten the life of electronic devices, damage batteries, cause them to become inoperative, and warp or melt certain plastics.
Do not store the Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon and its accessories in cold areas. When the Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon afterward warms up to its normal temperature, moisture can form inside the Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon, which may damage the electronic circuits.

Try to minimize exposing the Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon to these substances: soap, detergent, acids or acidic foods, and any liquids other than freshwaters, such as salt water, soapy water, pool water, perfume, insect repellent, lotions, sunscreen, oil, adhesive remover, hair dye, or solvents. The Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon has a water resistance rating of IP68 under IEC standard 60529.

If your accessories become warm during use or if the Louis VuittonTambour Horizon does not charge or sync, disconnect the cable from the power adapter and clean the accessories with a nonabrasive, dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use liquids or cleaning products when cleaning the accessories.
Discoloration of the charging surface of the Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon charging accessories may occur after regular use. Cleaning the charging surface may reduce, or prevent such discoloration, and will help to prevent damage to your charger and the Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon. Charging accessories
Use only approved charging accessories Your Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon is provided with the following charging accessories: USB C cable, charging cradle and a universal adaptor. use only charging accessories approved by Louis Vuitton. Some tutorials are available in Louis Vuitton App with respect to charging handling.
When a charger is not in use, disconnect it from the power source.
It is important to keep the Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon and the accessories provided therewith in a well-ventilated area when charging.
Use the charging accessories provided with the Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon or any other Louis Vuitton-approved charging accessories only from the type of power source indicated on the marking label. Before you use any power supply, or charging accessories, verify that the mains (AC) voltage of the power source is in accordance with the voltage of the approved charging accessories, printed on the power supply.
Do not overload the power outlets, extension cords or convenience receptacles because this might result in a risk of fire or electric shock. To reduce the risk of damage to the cord or the wall charger, pull the wall

charger rather than the cord when you disconnect the charging accessory from the power outlet or power source.

This does not affect in any manner the rights you might have under consumer protection, sales contract or other statutory law. This international limited guarantee is in addition to other rights and remedies available to you under local laws, which cannot be excluded. For an overview of statutory rights in addition to this guarantee, please refer to the country-specific sections below.
For the purposes of this international limited guarantee, accessories include charging accessories that are included in the original packaging of your Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon or sold at Louis Vuitton stores (i.e. USB C cable, charging cradle, a universal adaptor). Accessories do not include, and Louis Vuitton expressly disclaims any guarantee or warranty with respect, to accessories sold by third parties. Conditions, limitations, and exclusions apply to both Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon and accessories. All accessories are not water-resistant.

What is covered?
Under this international limited two-year guarantee, Louis Vuitton undertakes to repair, free of charge, any problem with the functions of the Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon or its accessories that results from a manufacturing defect. This guarantee is only honored in the Louis Vuitton stores. The two-year guarantee from the date of purchase of your Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon and one year. guarantee for accessories from the date of purchase of your Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon covers any function defect arising during normal use of the device in accordance with the Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon’s technical specifications and user manuals. This could be, for instance,  power on/off the issue, a charging issue, display malfunction,or the impossibility to use normal applications or watch functions due to your Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon’s defect. This guarantee can be enforced in the countries where the Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon is distributed. Any non-arguable quality defects on the cosmetics or product mechanical functions that obviously come from a component quality problem or the Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon dis-assembly by Louis Vuitton are covered.In addition, certain limiting conditions do apply and for this reason it is essential that you read the following paragraphs:

What are the limiting conditions of this guarantee?

To benefit from this international limited guarantee the following conditions must be met:

• The international limited guarantee stamp, located in the guarantee booklet you received with your Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon, must be enclosed with your Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon when returned to a Louis Vuitton store for repair and must be signed and dated at the time of purchase;
• Louis Vuitton will not honor the guarantee for your Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon sold without a valid guarantee stamp properly filled out and signed by a Louis Vuitton store;
• The serial number engraved on the case is perfectly legible and no part of the original case back or original serial number has been removed, modified, falsified, altered, replaced, erased, defaced or made illegible.

Failure to abide by any of the above conditions renders all rights resulting from the Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon international limited guarantee null and void.

What is not covered?
Damage resulting from service provided anywhere other than at an official Louis Vuitton Customer Service Center is not covered and shall void the international limited guarantee. The international limited guarantee also does not cover bracelets, crystals, and batteries, or any damage to the case or hardware due to moisture that might have entered your Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon as a result of improper handling.
More generally, it does not apply if there has been improper or inadequate use of your Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon:

• product has been opened by the user or by an unauthorized person;
• product has been connected to non-recommended accessories such as other battery type or chargers;
• product has been voluntarily degraded or used out of the recommended rules for product start-up or usage such as wrong plug-in or product has been exposed to extra voltage or electric discharges, important shocks, drop or abnormal mechanical stress leading to major degradation of product housing, electronic components;
• product has been abnormally exposed to water or other chemical substances (presence of corrosion, humidity);
• product has been exposed to high or cold temperature (Operate and store this product within the temperature range of -4°F to 113°F (-20°C to 45°C) only. Charge the battery where the temperature is between 41°F and 104°F (5°C and 40°C) only) or other extreme environmental conditions;
• an attempt to modify product software has been performed.

If one of the above-mentioned items are observed, then the Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon will not be covered by the international limited guarantee. The normal wear and aging of your Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon and its accessories due to normal usage is not covered by the guarantee. This is especially the case for:

• any material surface degradation due to normal usage of the product, scratches on the case, strap, buckle, rubber, crystal, dust intrusion or degraded surfaces, change of color of parts due exposure to solar radiation or contact with any chemical substance;
• damage of autonomy performance due to battery normal aging.

DISCLAIMER OF GUARANTEE FOR SOFTWARE

For purposes of this Software section, “Software” means any software application (and all associated content and functionality) that may be accessed using or that may otherwise interoperate with the Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon.
Third-Party Software. “Third-Party Software” refers to software that has been developed by, or is provided to you for use with the Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon by, any person other than Louis Vuitton.
Please note that Louis Vuitton shall not be held responsible where updates to the operating systems of the Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon or pairing of the Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon with specific mobile phone models would incur dysfunction or malfunctioning of the Louis Vuitton TambourHorizon.
Third-Party Software is provided subject to, and in accordance with, the applicable third party’s terms and conditions. Any guarantee that is provided in connection with such Third-Party Software is provided solely by such third party(ies) and not by Louis Vuitton. Accordingly, you acknowledge that Louis Vuitton shall not be liable with regards to the use and/or exploitation of such third parties applications and/or software.

Your use of Software shall be subject to your acceptance of the dedicated terms and conditions of those applications and, as the case may be, privacy policies.

Louis Vuitton Software. Louis Vuitton may from time to time provide or make available certain  Software to users in connection with the Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon (“Louis Vuitton Software”).

The Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon includes sensors that may allow you to track certain activities and access to or generate various metrics and data (e.g., distance, heart rate)? Any such metrics and data generated or calculated through your use of the Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon are provided to you for informational and recreational purposes only. You must not use these metrics and data for any purpose requiring accurate precision or information and we make no guarantee or warranty as to the accuracy of such metrics and data. Please be aware, without prejudice to the aforementioned, that the Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon will not be able to properly measure your heart rate if wearing the watch with a steel bracelet.

Finally, the Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon is not a medical device. It is not intended to provide medical diagnostic services or medical advice and must not be used to  iagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. This international limited guarantee gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights under local laws which vary from country to country. Louis Vuitton and its tores shall have sole discretion to decide to repair or replace any Louis Vuitton timepiece under this international limited guarantee. To the extent permitted by the local law,  Louis Vuitton shall not be liable for any incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with this international limited guarantee. This international limited guarantee may be transferred with the Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon.

We recommend that you bring your Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon to the nearest Louis Vuitton store. This list of Louis Vuitton stores worldwide can be found at the end of this booklet. This guarantee does not affect your legal rights as a consumer. Please check that this booklet contains a stamp dated and signed – otherwise you will not be covered by the international limited guarantee services outlined above.

Additionally, in order to be covered by this international limited guarantee, the following administrative conditions shall be met when returning the product: to the extent permitted by local legislation, the product shall be returned with its original battery and charger to a Louis Vuitton store.
