Overview
This product is a memory card that supports the AXS Memory Card (A-Series)1)
standard.
The AXS-A512S48/A1TS48 supports recording at a high bit rate of 4.8 Gbps, and
the AXS-A1TS66 supports recording at 6.6 Gbps.
For details about the supported recording formats, refer to the operation
manual of your AXS memory card compatible device or contact a Sony sales
representative.
Notes
- This product can only be used with devices that support AXS Memory Cards
- (A-Series) and devices that support AXS Memory Cards.
- A dedicated adaptor is required to use this product with the AXS-R5 and AXS-ˎˎCR1.
- When using the AXS Memory Cards (A-Series) with the following devices and software, make sure the software versions are as follows.

Notes on Use

As this product is an electrical device, do not expose it to static electricity.

Do not bend the product or expose it to excessive shock, vibrations, or water.

Do not touch the memory card terminals or insert foreign objects into the terminal area.

The following actions may damage or result in the loss of recorded data.

Exposing the device to shocks and vibration or turning off the device during reading, writing, and formatting operations.

Using the product in an environment exposed to static electricity or electrical noise.

When this product is inserted into a recording or playback device, in rare cases internal processing may execute automatically. Do not remove the product
from the device or turn off the power of the device until the following time has elapsed after inserting the product.

Do not operate or store the product in the following environments.
Locations that do not satisfy the prescribed usage and storage environment conditions.
Inside a vehicle with closed windows on a hot day, locations exposed to direct sunlight, locations in close proximity to heating devices, etc.
Locations exposed to excessive humidity or corrosive environments. -
Be sure to insert the product in the proper direction during use.

Keep the product in the supplied card case when storing or carrying it, and make sure the case is locked securely (Fig. A). When inserting the card into the case, insert it horizontally from the side. Pushing the card into the case from
above with the case fully opened can damage the tabs on the case (Fig. B). -
In case the data stored on the memory card is damaged or lost for any reason, be sure to keep a backup of the data. Sony Corporation will not be liable for any damages incurred as a result of a loss of data stored on this product.

When the write-protect switch is set in the direction of the arrow (Fig. C ), data recording, editing, and deletion are disabled. When using the write-protect switch, be sure to slide the switch all the way to one side. When operating the write-protect switch, always do so while the memory card is not inserted in a device.

When labeling the memory card, use only the supplied card label sheet and affix the sheet within the prescribed label affixing area (Fig. E). The card label sheet cannot be reused after it is attached and removed. Affix the card label sheet firmly to make sure it does not peel or fall off while inside a device. Do not use any labels or engraved seals other than the dedicated user label sheet, and do not attach labels to areas other than the specified attachment area. Doing so may cause a failure.

When formatting the memory card, be sure to use a device with a format function that supports AXS Memory Cards.

When removing or reinserting the card case label, open the card case fully (Fig. E).
Notes on condensation
If the unit is suddenly taken from a cold to a warm location, or if the
ambient temperature suddenly rises, moisture may form on the outer surface of
the unit and/or inside of the unit. This is known as condensation. If
condensation occurs, wait until the condensation clears before operating the
unit. Operating the unit while condensation is present may damage the unit.
- If condensation is present on the product, wait for the condensation to dissipate before use.
- This product does not include any warning lamps that indicate the presence of condensation.
Cleaning the exterior
- Wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth.
- For stubborn stains, clean the surface with a cloth lightly dampened with a mild detergent, then wipe it with a dry cloth.
- Do not use alcohol, benzene, thinner, pesticide, or sunscreen cream as they can damage the surface and cause markings to wear off. If any material is adhering to the product, wipe it off immediately.
- Using excessive force when wiping the surface with a dirty cloth may cause scratches.
- Prolonged contact with rubber or vinyl may degrade the surface and damage the coating.
