Scope of delivery

Proper use

The SOEHNLE Aroma Diffuser must be used exclusively to improve the fragrance in a room.
We recommend using only fra­ grance oils by SOEHNLE.
Please comply with the dosage instructions on the packaging.
Please read these user instruc­ tions prior to the first startup of the device.
This device is not designed for commercial use.

Remarks

• Operate the device only with the original power supply unit.
• This device may not be used by persons with limited physi­cal sensory or mental abilities  or persons lacking experience or knowledge, unless they are monitored by a person  respon­ sible for their safety or were instructed in the use of the device.

Children must not play with the device. Children may use the device only if they are over eight years old and if they are being supervised by a person responsible for their safe­ty  or were instructed in the use of the device.

• Do not fill with hot water (> 40°C).

• The device may be used only in dry environments. Please be sure that it is not located near the vicinity of the power supply unit.

• The power supply unit must be connected in such a way so as to avoid risks in the event of a falling of the device or spilling of liquid.

• Never squeeze the power cord and never pull it across sharp edges.

• Do not operate the device near heat sources.

• Never operate the device with defective power supply unit or power plug.

• Do not take the device into operation if the product or parts of the device show visi­ ble damages.

• Do not modify the device in any way. Have repairs to the device or the power supply unit per­ formed only by an authorized repair shop or service centre.

• Place the device only on a solid, level, and moisture­re­ sistant surface.

• Do not cover the device ­ par­ ticularly the ventilation open­ ings.

• It cannot be completely exclud­ ed that some varnishes, plas­ tics, or furniture care products may deteriorate and soften the material of the non­slip feet. Therefore please  place a non­ slip pad underneath the device if required.

• Do not place the device directly underneath a shelf or a wall unit; the water vapour could damage such.

• Aromas containing oil (e.g. eucalyptus oil) must not be used as these may damage the device. Use only water­soluble aromas.

• Do not transport the device with a filled water tank.

• Do not operate the device if it

• contains very little or no liquid.

Start-up Operation

Fill the device only while the power supply unit is disconnected!

1. Remove the upper part.
2. Fill with distilled water up to the maximum water level indi­ cator (80 ml).
3. Add 1 to 2 drops SOEHNLE fragrance oil. Reattach upper part correctly.
4. Connect power supply unit.
5. Place on a level surface.
6. Switch on.

Illumination
After switching the device on it will be illuminated in alternating colors. Push again to stop at the current color. Push again to switch illumination off.
Push again to switch device off.

Cleaning

For reasons of hygiene the device must be cleaned after each filling ­ at least every three days. Before cleaning, dis ­connect the unit from the mains.

1. Remove remaining water.
   Do not use ventilation opening!

2. Use cloth and cotton swabs to wipe out water tank.

3. Do not use strong or abrasive cleaning agents.

Troubleshooting

into power outlet and device
Not enough water in the water tank| Fill up to the maximum water level indicator
Too much water in the water tank| Pour out water until it reaches the maximum water level indicator
The upper part is plugged up by a water film or something else| Use cloth to clean

Guarantee

Leifheit AG grants you 2 years gua­ rantee as of the date of purchase (or for order upon receipt of the goods) for the quality product at hand. The guarantee claims must be  asserted immediately upon occurrence of the defect within the guarantee period.The guarantee is limited to the quality of the products.
The following are excluded from the guarantee:

1. wear caused by proper use or natu­ ral causes;
2. damage caused by improper use or handling (e.g. impact, bump, fall);
3. damage caused by non­compliance with stated operating instructions;
4. the rechargeable battery

In case of a guarantee claim, Leifheit will at its own discretion provide either repair of defective parts or replace the product. If a repair is not possible and if an identical product  is no longer available within the product range for replacement, you will receive a replace­ ment product that is, insofar as possib­le, of equal value. In case of a gua­rantee  claim, the purchase price cannot be reimbursed. This guarantee also does not grant compensation rights.
This guarantee furthermore does not grant any claims for damages.
To assert the guarantee, please contact the seller where you purchased the pro­ duct and present the defective product, the purchase receipt (copy) and the guarantee slip.
The guarantee is valid globally.
Your statutory rights, in particular war­ ranty rights, continue to be valid and are not limited by this warranty.

This device complies with the applicable EC Directive 2004/108/EG + 2011/65/EU.
The power supply meets the general requirements of DIN EN 60335­ 1:2010.
