Japan Computer Vision SenseThunder-Mini Thermal Scanner
For proper use
- Do not drop, hit or throw the product into fire or water. It may cause fire, electric shock, or injury.
- Do not disassemble, modify or repair the product.
- It may cause fire, electric shock, or malfunction.
- For those cases, It will not be covered by the warranty.
- Do not place the product in the following locations:
- Small, closed space exposed to direct sunlight
- Areas with high temperatures, such as near heating appliances
- Places with high humidity or condensation
- Areas that are not flat or subject to vibration
- A place where a magnetic field is generated, such as near a magnet Dusty places
- If a foreign object, such as water, dust, or metal fragments. enters the product, stop using the product immediately and disconnect it from the power supply. It may cause a fire or an electric shock.
- If there are abnormalities, such as heat, smoke, or an unusual odor, stop using the product immediately discontinue use immediately and disconnect it from the power supply. It may cause fire or electric shock.
- Clean with a soft, dry cloth. As the thermal imager is made of a special material, do not use solutions such as alcohol for cleaning.
- For correct temperature detection, the product needs to be installed and operated in the following operating environment
- installation indoors
- Keep the operating
- At a windless place
- Avoid heat/lighting
- Avoid direct sunlight
Before starting to use
Setup
- Connect the PoE injector (sold separately) to the wall outlet.
- Connect the LAN cable wired from the product at the time of assembly to the ‘PoE/DATA” port of the PoE injector (refer to the following example), then the product will automatically start up and will display the temperature detection screen.

Network Connection Setting
- Following the procedures of 2-1, 2-2, access the setting screen and tap the “Close the application”.
- When the Android home screen is dis played, tap the A mark at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap ‘Settings” from the applications list.
- Tap “WLAN”.
- Select the destination network and enter the password to -connect.
- Confirm that the WLAN mark is displayed on the upper right
- Normal connection.
- Normally connected but insufficient signal strength. Switching to a stronger network is recommended.
- There is a problem with the connection. Contact the network administrator.
- Connection failed. Please start over from 3-4.
Customize settings
Following the procedures of 2-1, 2-2, access the setting screen, and tap “System Settings” to display the setting item list.
How to check the software version
- Following the procedures of 2-1, 2-2, access the selling screen and tap ‘Information”.
- Refer to ‘Current Version” at the bottom of the screen.
Senselink Cooperation Settings
This selling is only for customers working with the Senselink server. This selling is not required when operating without server cooperation (temperature detection only).
- Refer to “Senselink Installation Manual” to build the Senselink server.
- Since the Senselink side cannot register the device, per1orm the initial setting and the device registration as follows.
- The product must be connected to WLAN or Ethernet network in advance. (Refer to 3-1 to 3-6 for instructions on connecting WLAN.)
- Following the procedures of 2-1, 2-2,access the setting screen in and tap “Logout”.
- Tap the gear mark on the upper right of the screen.
- Tap “SenseLink Enterprise”. Enter the SenseLink server address and tap “Save” in the upper right twice.
- Return to the screen of 4 enter the SenselLink login information, and tap “Log In”.
- Enter the de- vice name and installation location and tap”Next”. (The informa- tion entered here is also registered with the Sen- seLink server.)
- Select face authentication mode and tap “Finish”. (When using the tempera- ture detection function, the authentication range is the same in either option.)
- The setting is completed when he thermography screen is displayed.
Any trouble
The power does not turn on or off during use.
Is the LAN cable of the PoE injector connected to the “PoE”?
Is the “PoE” lamp switched on?
Try plugging and unplugging the power outlet, PoE injector, and LAN cable.
If you have more than one PoE injector, try replacing it with another.
The thermal imager screen is not displayed and the temperature cannot be
detected at all.
Is the USB cable of the thermal imager connected correctly?
Are there any obstacles or covers on the thermal imager lens?
Can’t go back to the temperature detection screen. The screen is frozen or
unstable.
Plug and unplug the LAN cable from the PoE injector and turn the power on
again.
The temperature detection result is not stable or is displayed higher/lower
than the actual temperature.
Check the following points.
If the problem still exists, turn on “temperature debug mode” and check if a
point indicating a temperature detection point (green) appears around the
forehead. Otherwise, it may be improved by disassembling and reassembling. If
the problem persists, please contact our Customer Support Center.
