Important Safety Instructions:

Please read all instructions carefully and retain for future reference. When using the unit, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

  1. Keep this product and its charging cable away from direct sunlight, excessive heat or flammable materials.
  2. Do not operate this product if it has malfunctioned or has been damaged in any way.
  3. No user-serviceable parts inside. Do not dismantle.
  4. This product is not a toy. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  5. Do not expose batteries to heat or fire as they may explode.
  6. Do not dispose of batteries in your household waste. Contact your local council for information on disposal or recycling.
  7. Do not immerse the unit in water or other liquids. Store in a cool, dry place.
  8. Clean only with a soft, dry cloth.
  9. Place the unit on a flat, stable surface. Do not cover the Speaker during use.
  10. Do not insert foreign objects into any opening on the unit.
  11. Do not play music at excessive volume levels as this can cause hearing loss or damage the unit.

Product Overview:

Note: Pull the port cover flap up to access the ports. Keep cover closed during use to maintain IP rating.

  1. AUX Input:
    Connect auxiliary device using 3.5mm AUX cable to play audio.

  2. USB port:
    This is a dual-purpose port. It functions as USB input (to play music) as well as USB output (to charge mobile devices).
    USB Input- Insert USB memory device to play compatible audio
    OR USB Output- DC 5V, 500mA output to charge mobile devices.

  3. microSD (TF) card port:
    Insert microSD card to play compatible audio.

  4. Type-C USB Charging Port
    Charging Port to charge the speaker.

  5. Lights Button:
    Short press to switch between available lighting modes.
    Press and hold to turn the lights on or off.
    In bluetooth mode, double click to disconnect or re-connect bluetooth device.

  6. Next Button:
    Short press to increase volume.
    Press and hold to play the next song (or next channel in FM mode).

  7. Play/Pause/Power Button:
    Press and hold for 3 seconds to turn on or turn off the speaker.
    Short press to play or pause.
    In FM mode, short press two times in quick succession to scan available FM stations and store into memory.

  8. Previous Button:
    Short press to decrease volume.
    Press and hold to play the previous song (or previous channel in FM mode).

  9. Mode Button:
    Short press for TWS function (if you have two speakers, see TWS section). Press and hold to switch between available modes: BT/FM/TF/USB/AUX.
    In Bluetooth mode, if a phone call comes, short press to accept the call. Short press again to end the call. Press and hold 2 seconds to reject the call.

Charging the Speaker:

Turn off the unit before charging. Charge the unit fully before using it for the first ttme and whenever the sound becomes weak (there is an audio alert).

  1. Connect the USB charging cable to the Type-C USB Charging Port on the unit. Connect the other end of the charging cable to a DC 5V, 1A power adaptor to charge the unit. You can also connect it to the USB port of a computer or similar.
  2. The red Charging Indicator turns on when the unit is charging and turns off when it is fully charged. Remove the charging cable promptly. Do not overcharge.
    Charging time: Around 5 hours.
    Battery run time: Around 4-6 hours.

Bluetooth Connection:

  • Place the speaker close to (within 10 metres of) your
    Bluetooth enabled device.

  • If not in Bluetooth mode, press and hold Mode Button to switch to Bluetooth mode.

  • Enable Bluetooth function on your Bluetooth-enabled smartphone, tablet or media player; navigate to the Bluetooth setting menu, and search for new devices. The Bluetooth name for this speaker is “XS-N2112’,

  • Once connected, you can press and hold Previous or Next Button to play the previous or next song.

FM Radio Playback:

  • Plug in the USB charging cable as antenna.
  • Press and hold the Mode Button to switch to FM Radio mode.
  • Press the Play/Pause Button two times to search for available FM channels automatically. Once the search is complete, the speaker will store the channels automatically.
  • To stop automatic search, press the Play/Pause Button again.
  • Press and hold the Previous or Next Buttons to switch between the channels.

USB/microSD/AUX Input:

Connect a USB/microSD memory device, or an AUX cable connected to your device, to the appropriate port. Press and hold the ‘Mode’ Button to switch to the correct mode.

Note:

  • MP3, WAV, WMA, FLAC, APE formats are compatible.
  • Maximum size of the USB/ microSD device that can be connected is 64GB.

Making/Receiving Phone Calls

In Bluetooth mode, if a phone call comes, short press Mode
Button to accept the call.
Short press Mode Button again to end the call.
Press and hold Mode Button for 2 seconds to reject the call.
Short press Mode Button two times in quick succession to dial the last called number.

True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Mode

(Optional, requires two speakers)

If you have two speakers (Model: XS-N2112), you can use them together for a more immersive audio experience.

  1. Place the two speakers in the same room (within 10 metres) and turn them on.
  2. Press the Mode Button on both speakers to switch the speakers to Bluetooth mode. Do not connect either speaker to your audio source device at this stage.
  3. Short press the Mode Button on either speaker to connect the two speakers in TWS mode. You will hear an audio alert indicating that the two speakers are connected.
  4. Now enable Bluetooth function on your Bluetooth-enabled smartphone, tablet or media player; navigate to the Bluetooth setting menu, and search for new devices. The Bluetooth name for this speaker is ‘XS-N2112’,
  5. Once connected, you can play Bluetooth audio from your source device on the speakers wirelessly, in stereo.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible cause/Solution
Speaker turns off on its own • To preserve battery, the speaker turns off if

there is no activity for 15 minutes. To continue using, turn it on again.
• Speaker turns off after an audio alert if battery is low. Charge it fully before using it again.
Cannot play file from USB/ microSD| • File might be in an incompatible format. See USB/microSD/AUX input section for details.
• File path might not be recognized; try storing the file directly in the root directory.
No sound| • Try increasing the volume.
• Choose the correct audio source.
• If connected to a computer, make sure correct audio output is selected.
Buttons are not working| • Battery might be low. Try charging for a few hours.
• Turn it off and turn on again after a few seconds.
