Note: This device is for animal use, do not use it on humans. Do not put it into fire or water.

Operating Instructions

1. Probe connection
As shown in figure 2, aim the two raised parts of the probe at the two sunken parts of the probe jack of the machine, insert horizontally, and then rotate the fixing screw sleeve clockwise to make the probe firmly connected. When disassembling, first rotate the fixing screw sleeve counterclockwise and then pull out horizontally.

2. Power / Freeze

1.  In the shutdown state, press the button, the power indicator will be on, and the LOGO will be displayed on the screen. Press any key except button to enter the B-mode ultrasound image scanning mode.
2. In the mode of real-time scanning, press the button to freeze the image. Press button again to return to the real-time scanning state. Long press button to shut down

3. Parameter adjustment

1.  In the mode of real-time scanning, Press to select the parameters of gain, depth, pseudo-color, brightness, contrast and mode. The selected parameters will be highlighted. Press to adjust the parameters.
2. Gain: the higher the parameter, the stronger the ultrasonic echo signal and the brighter the image. Adjusting this parameter during scanning can make the image more easily observed.
3.  Frequency: adjust the scanning frequency according to the needs, lower frequency for deeper detection depth, higher frequency for better lateral resolution.
4. False-color: image area shows false color, black and white by default. (In real-time scanning mode, press the button for adjustment)
5. Brightness, contrast: image display parameters
6. Mode: the default mode is pig pregnancy capsule mode, which is very suitable for scanning sow pregnancy capsule. The general mode applies to scans of other animals or other body parts. (In real-time image scanning mode, it can also be adjusted by pressing button)
7. Depth: displays images of different scan depths. In the mode of real-time scanning, Press for adjustment.

Menu

1.  In the image freezing mode, press  to enter the menu, and then press the number key before the corresponding item to enter each sub-item or press to cancel.
2. Press to set the time. Enter the number key in turn to set the time. Press to backspace.
3. Press to turn on or off the key tone and the switch sound. Or press the  button for adjustment)
4. Press to reset to the factory default settings.
5. Press to change the language.
6. Press to erase the image stored in the machine. After erasure, the image cannot be retrieved. When the storage is full, the erasure operation can be performed to facilitate the storage of new images.
7. Press to change the display interface character color.
8.  Enter “7”,”8″, “9” and “0” to measure the gestational age of horses, cattle, sheep and swine respectively. Move the start cursor to the position to be tested by“ press to enter the end point cursor and move it to the position to be tested, the screen will display the distance from the beginning to the end in real-time and calculate the corresponding gestational age. Press the key again to switch the starting point and end point, and press the key to make the next group of measurements.

Image storage and reading

1.  In the image freezing mode, press to store the current frozen image. When the storage is full, it needs to be erased to continue the storage.
2.  In the image freezing mode, press the button to input the serial number of the image, and the screen will display this image. At this time, press  button to turn the image up and down. Press the  key to enter scan mode.

Distance Measurement

1. In the image freezing mode, press the button to display the start cursor of measurement.
   The start cursor can be moved to the position to be tested through the arrow key.

2. Press  to display the measurement end point cursor and it can be moved through the arrow key, the screen will display the distance measurement from the start cursor to the end cursor in real-time. Press key again to switch the start cursor and the end cursor, press the” “key again to make the next group of measurements and press the” key to clear the screen.

Auxiliary automatic back-fat measurement

1.  In the real-time scan mode of the image, press the button to switch between B-scan mode and automatic back-fat measurement mode.In the automatic back-fat measurement mode, the depth is locked at 60mm, and the scanning probe is perpendicular to the back-fat measurement test point, so that the scanned fat layer image is as perpendicular as possible to the back-fat measurement guidance area, as shown in figure 3.

2.  Press the button, and the measured back-fat thickness will be displayed on the screen. Meanwhile, the back-fat layer automatically calculated will be marked by the cursor.
   Note: the accuracy of the automatic back-fat measurement depends on the sharpness of the image and the testing environment.

3.  If the back-fat thickness is not displayed on the screen after pressing the button, or the measured result is greatly different from the visual image, the back-fat thickness can be obtained by manually adjusting the cursor to the fat layer of the back-fat image through“ .
