Introduction

12W nightlight with two stereo speakers and bass boost from Bluetooth. 5 hours of charge time and 1 year of idle time are provided by the built-in microphone.

  • BUILT-IN BATTERY CARE
  • Please observe the following if the product contains a battery.
  • Your product is powered by a rechargeable battery. The full performance of a new battery is achieved only after two or three complete charge and discharge cycles.
  • The battery can be charged and discharged hundreds of times ,but will eventually wear out
  • Unplug the charger from the electrical plug and the product when not in use. Do not leave a fully charged battery connected to a charger since overcharging may shorten its lifespan.
  • If left unused, a fully charged battery will lose its charge over time.
  • Leaving the product in hot or cold places, such as in a closed car in the summer and winter conditions, will reduce the capacity and lifespan of the battery.
  • Always try to keep the battery between 0℃ and 45℃ (32℉ and 113℉). A product with a hot or cold battery may not work temporarily, even when the battery is fully charged. Battery performance is particularly ,limited in temperatures well below freezing.

  • Unless otherwise specified in the user manual or quick start guide the battery in your product can not be removed or replaced by the user.   • Do not dispose the battery as household waste or in a fire as it may explode.

CHARGING WARNING!

  • When you disconnect the power cord of a charger from AC mains, grasp and pull the plug, not the cord.

UNPACKING AND SET UP

  • Remove the unit from the box and remove all packing material from the unit. Save the packing material, if possible, in case the unit ever needs to be serviced or transported. The original box and packing material is the only safe way to pack your unit to protect it from damage in transit.
  • Remove any descriptive labels or stickers on the front or top of the cabinet. Do not remove any labels or stickers from the back or bottom of the cabinet.
  • The serial number on the bottom of your unit and write this number in the space provided on the Warranty page of this manual.
  • Place your unit on a level surface such as a table, desk or shelf, out of direct sunlight, and away from sources of excess heat, dirt, dust, moisture, humidity, or vibration.
PROTECT YOUR FURNITURE

This model is equipped with non-skid rubber ‘feet’ to prevent the product from moving when you operate the controls. These ‘feet’ are made from non-migrating rubber material specially formulated to avoid leaving any marks or stains on your furniture. However certain types of oil-based furniture  polishes, wood preservatives, or cleaning sprays may cause the rubber ‘feet’ to soften, and leave marks or a rubber residue on the furniture.  To prevent any damage to your furniture we strongly recommend that you purchase small self-adhesive felt pads, available at hardware stores and home improvement centers everywhere, and apply these pads to the bottom of the rubber ‘feet’ before you place the product on fine wooden furniture.

  • This product is designed to be powered by a built-in rechargeable battery, that can be charged up with a DC 5V/1A power supply via a micro USB plug.
  • Remove the charger after fully charged.

NOTE: Button operation for “Press or Short Press” is to Press the button briefly, and “Long Press” is to Press and Hold the button for 1-2 seconds.

TRAVEL LOCK
The unit includes a main switch at back of speaker to save battery life and prevent inadvertent button activation when in transit.
When in power off, all functions are disabled except the time and alarm function. Time and alarm will keep functioning even the display OFF.

CHARGING THE UNIT

  • Connect the micro USB plug to the micro USB charging port at the back of the unit.
  • Connect the standard USB plug end of the cable to a power USB port on a computer, or other USB charging device, or AC adapter with USB jack (not included). For first time use, approximately 3 hours is required for a full charge.
  • A red indicator glows while the unit is charging and it changes to green when unit is fully charged.

NOTE: Battery will last up to 4 hours when connected wirelessly and up to 12 hours when connected through Line-In Audio Jack.

SETTING THE TIME MANUALLY
Switch on the two buttons located at the back of unit and at the top of unit to ensure the unit turned ON Long press the “M” button until the display “Flashes” Hour

  1. Short press tune down or tune up button to move backward or move forward Hour
  2. Short press the “M” button until the display “Flashes” Minute
  3. Short press tune down or tune up button to move backward or move forward Minute
  4. Short press the “M” button to stop “Flashes” after time set
  5. Select 12/24 hour format by short press tune down or tune up   button for selection

NOTE: To skip manual adjustment, keep it idle for 5 seconds to resume to clock display mode. Long press and hold for 5 seconds to reset

SETTING THE ALARM

ADJUSTING THE WAKE-UP TIMES

  • Press CLOCK button to adjust the Wake up time for Alarm 1.
  • Press CLOCK button to adjust the Wake up time for Alarm 2.
  • Long Press clock 1/clock 2 to set Alarm Time until the display “Flashes” Hour
  • Short Press tune down or tune up button to move backward or move forward “Hour”

SET MINUTES

  • Short Press clock 1/clock 2 again to set Alarm Time until the display “Flashes” Minutes
  • Short Press tune down or tune up button to move backward or move forward “Minutes”
  • Short Press clock 1/clock 2 again to finish the Alarm setting

NOTE: Sound pattern for both Alarms is the same.

ALARM CLOCK ON/OFF
  • Short press clock 1 to turn the Alarm 1 indicator on or off, Alarm “1.” will be on or off.
  • Short press clock 2 to turn the Alarm 2 indicator on or off, Alarm “2” will be on or off.
SNOOZE ALARM
  • When the Alarm comes ON, the indicator of or    and real-time Clock Display will blink Note: Alarm will ring gradually with a low-high volume cycles for 2 minutes and then pause automatically for 10 minutes if not snoozed or turned off.
  • Press “snooze” button to pause it for 10 minutes
  • To turn off Snooze Alarm mode, short press and then short press again to turn off Alarm “1” or short press and then short press again to turn off Alarm “2”

PAIRING BLUETOOTH SPEAKER

Press the POWER button  to turn the unit ON Short press M button to select Bluetooth

  • Enable your  Bluetooth  device  and  select   mode(  flashes for pairing and the unit will ER-BT200 from its Available / Paired device list. If prompt voice notice ” Bluetooth device ready pairing successful, the unit will prompt the voice to pair “) notice “Bluetooth device is connected” and BLUETOOTH icon will become solid.
  • Automatic connection with your Bluetooth devices is possible if they have been paired successfully with this unit before.
  • After paired, you can play your music through this Bass Boosted Bluetooth Speaker.
  • Long Press tune down or tune-up button to adjust the volume and it can also be adjusted the volume on the connected audio device.
  • Short Press LAY/PAUSE button to pause or resume music playback as well as answer an incoming call.
  • When not listening, press the M  button to switch to either radio or clock mode. Or press the power button for 1 second to turn the unit off.

NOTE: If pairing is unsuccessful, all previously paired  Bluetooth devices around should be disconnected or turned off first, in order to avoid making any auto reconnection between them. Then, set this unit to Bluetooth mode, and tap the Bluetooth switch on your phone/device off and back on again to refresh/search any nearby “ER-BT200” for pairing.

If no Bluetooth device to connect in 3 minutes, automatically switch to Time mode. If you want to disconnect this unit from your Bluetooth-enabled device after pairing successfully,  short press the M button to switch to radio mode. To reconnect this unit, just short press the M button turns to Bluetooth mode it will automatically connect or select “ER-BT200” again from the Available / Paired device first when the unit in Bluetooth mode.

LISTENING TO FM RADIO
Press the POWER button to turn ON the unit and press M button to change to Radio mode (“FM” and “MHz” On)

  1. Short press M button to switch to Radio mode

  2. Auto Searching / Scanning FM Stations (Long press M button 2 seconds and release for automatically search and save the scanned radio stations)
    NOTE: Searching will stop at a station with acceptable reception for storing to memory.

  3. Recall stations from memory

  • Short Press PLAY/PAUSE button, Program number will be shown on the display and switch your stored program number and listen to your favorite station.
  • Short press Tune Down or Tune Up button to step backward or forward 0.1MHZ to fine tune or search your favorite station.
  • Long Press tune down or tune up button to adjust volume
  • When not listening, press the M  button  to switch to  either radio or clock mode. Or press power button to turn the unit off.

NOTE: Keep the unit away from other electronic devices to avoid radio interference. For better reception, adjust the position of the unit.

ENJOYING AUDIO SOURCE VIA AUX IN JACK

  • Press the power button to turn the unit ON
  • Plug AUX cable in the “AUX” jack at back of unit, another end connects to the computer, headphone or line-out jack of an audio device, automatically enter AUX mode, and AUX  indicator lights ON in solid.

SLEEP TIMER

Press the POWER button to turn ON the unit.

  • Selecting 3 preset countdown sleep timers by short press and then release, the sleep timer will start counting down and turn off the unit when the selected sleep timer elapsed.
    • S15 stand for 15 minutes
    • S30 stand for 30 minutes
    • S60 stand for 60 minutes
  • To cancel the sleep timer during count down process, repeatedly short press “sleep” button jumped to S15 > S30 > S60 to OFF (“Zz” indicator disappeared)

3-LEVEL DIMMER CONTROL & LED DÉCOR

The brightness of the clock display can be set at High/ Medium/ Low level in standby, Bluetooth, Radio and AUX modes with a press of “dimmer” button. The LED Decor can be set at High/Low/Off by pressing and holding the “dimmer” button for 2 seconds.

NOTE: The brightness of display will stay at the last setting right before power off.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

  • You Can Reduce the Risk of Hearing Damage by Following These Safety Guidelines During the  Use of the Product:
  • Turn the volume control to its lowest level, when connecting the speaker and then
  • Slowly adjust the volume control to a comfortable level.
  • Keep the volume at the lowest level possible;
  • If increased volume is necessary, adjust the volume control slowly; and
  • If you experience discomfort or ringing in your ears, immediately discontinue using the speaker.
  • With continued use at a high volume, your ears may become accustomed to the sound level, which may result in permanent damage to your hearing without any noticeable discomfort.

How do I set up my Bluetooth Emerson device?
To turn the device on, press the POWER button. To switch to Bluetooth (BT) mode, press the SOURCE button. Select CKS1507 from the list of Available/Paired devices on your Bluetooth device after turning it on.

To set the alarm time adjustment, press and hold the Alarm 1 button. Use the Tune up or Tune down control settings while holding the button. How do I change the alarm volume on my Emerson?
