BATTERY SAFETY INFORMATION

Read and follow operating instructions

  • Batteries replacement must be done by an adult. Do not let a child use the product unless the battery cover is secured.
  • Unscrew and open the battery compartment cover to replace batteries in the toy. Make sure all batteries are at correct polarity. Close the cover and tighten the screw.
  • Use only the batteries recommended.
  • Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
  • Do not mix old and new batteries. ‘Remove batteries when the toy is not in use.
  • Remove used batteries from the toy and dispose of them in accordance with the maker’s recommendation.
  • Do not attempt to recharge not-rechargeable batteries.
  • Do not use rechargeable batteries.
  • Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
  • To avoid short-circuiting, keep the battery compartment free of all material except batteries.
  • Do not dispose of batteries in fire, batteries may explode or leak.

HOW TO OPERATE YOUR TRANSCEIVER

  1. Remove the screw and open the battery door and snap in a 3×1.5V “AAA” size battery (Alkaline batteries recommended))
  2. Press the “push to talk” switch for transmitting.
  3. Release the “push to talk” switch for receiving.
  4. When transmitting, speak clearly in a normal voice, holding the set about 3″ from your mouth.
  5. Best transmission and reception are obtained when the antenna is held in a vertical position and fully extended.

CAUTION:

  1. Your transceiver set has been fully adjusted prior to shipment from the factory and is sure not to touch the internal components other than the battery.
  2. When the sound becomes weak, it is time to change the battery.
  3. After use, always return the ON/OFF switch to the OFF position.
  4. Keep your set in a dry and clean place.
