IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

GENERAL WARNING

• This product is designed for household use only. It is not intended for commercial or industrial use, nor for outdoor or humid environments.
• Ensure that the product is used in a safe environment and under the guidance and supervision of someone who understands the safe operation of the product and its potential hazards. Under no circumstances should children be allowed to use the product unsupervised.
• Never leave this product unattended with children or individuals with impaired cognitive abilities.
• Exercise extreme caution when using this product around children and pets.
• Please ensure that they do not play with the product.
• Do not touch the power plug or the product itself with wet hands.
• Avoid exposure to moisture and liquids.
• Do not operate this product if the power cord or plug is damaged.
• In case of product malfunction, damage, outdoor exposure, or immersion in liquid, immediately contact our customer service.
• Do not attempt to disassemble the product. Incorrect reassembly may result in electric shock or fire. Please contact our customer service for any repair needs.
• Do not expose the product to flammable or combustible liquids like gasoline. Moreover, do not use the product in environments containing flammable or combustible gases or in close proximity.
• Avoid pulling the power cord, placing heavy objects on the machine, or pinching the cord in a door.
• Do not use the product to vacuum anything that is burning or smoldering, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ash.
• Do not insert anything into the product’s openings or block these openings during operation.
• After use, always unplug the device from the socket before conducting any maintenance or parts replacement.
• Do not use or store this product in humid environments such as outdoors, in the bathroom, or near any water sources.
• Avoid using products with fragrances or perfumes as filters. These chemicals could potentially cause a fire.

CAUTIONS

• Upon first use, a peculiar smell may be noticeable. This smell should dissipate after a while and does not cause any adverse effects to the body.
  However, if a burnt smell persists, discontinue use immediately.

• Ensure the dust cup and filter are kept clean. A dirty dust cup or filter could lead to malfunction.

• Always unplug the power cord before performing maintenance. Neglecting to do so may result in the risk of electric shock or injury.

• The machine will shut down if it overheats. If the motor experiences abnormal heating or if the suction port is blocked, the device will stop functioning. To restart, empty the dust cup, ensure the suction part and filter are clean, and wait for 30 minutes  before turning it back on.

• Always use filters in their installed state. Operating the machine without the filter may damage the motor.

• Some accessories may feature sharp blades or edges. Handle these parts with caution.

• In the event of product malfunction, damage, or if the product has been submerged in water, please contact customer support immediately.

• Do not disassemble the product. Incorrect reassembly may result in electric shock or fire. If repair is needed, contact customer support.

DEVICE AND ACCESSORY INSTALLATION

Dust Cup Installation
Install the dust cup by aligning it with the slot and pushing to lock it on.

When installing the dust cup, ensure to first engage the latch on one side into the corresponding slot.

Accessory Installation
Connect the accessory to the vacuum cleaner using the hose.

When using the accessories, please be mindful of any sharp edges to avoid injury.

GET STARTED

Installations for the Electric Clipper

1. Press and hold the switch to turn the on or off.

2. Charge the electric clipper with the included cable.
   The LED light under the switch blinks while charging and stays lit when full.

3. The indicator light blinks when the clipper’s battery is low.

Use the Device

Rotate the dial switch clockwise to adjust the vacuum’s power and suction. You can choose any setting between minimum and maximum as needed

Use the Accessories

Electric Clipper

A. This tool trims your pet’s hair and vacuums it into the dust cup, preventing loose hairs from spreading.
B. Use caution on your pet’s sensitive skin to avoid scratching or causing discomfort.

Clipping Combs

A. The package includes five clipping combs in different sizes: 3mm, 6mm, 12mm, 18mm, and 24mm.
B. Choose according to your pet’s hairstyle needs (optional use).
C. These components are small and can be easily misplaced; please store them properly when not in use.
D. Follow the instructions to attach the Clipping Comb to the Electric Clipper.
You should hear two clicks when it’s correctly installed. If not installed properly, the Electric Clipper may make a loud noise when in use.

Deshedding Tool

A. Attach the deshedding tool to the grooming tool handle.
B. The deshedding tool can quickly remove loose hair from both long- haired and short-haired pets, reducing shedding by up to 95% of dead and tangled hair.
C. Press the button on the Grooming Tool  Handle to remove hair from the Deshedding Tool, then release it to suction  the hair into the vacuum cleaner.
D. Please be mindful of the sharp cutting edges to avoid injury.

E. Operate based on the volume of pet hair to prevent blocking the suction attachments.

Slicker Brush

A. Attach the Slicker Brush to the Grooming Tool Handle.
B. The Slicker Brush can remove dead fur, loose hair, and debris, while also volumizing the hair, making it more fluffy.
C. Press the button on the Grooming Tool Handle to release hair from the Slicker Brush, then let go to suction the hair into the vacuum cleaner.

2-in-1 Crevice Nozzle
The 2-in-1 Crevice Nozzle has two configurations, with or without a brush.
Depending on the configuration, the 2-in-1 Crevice Nozzle can be used to clean pet hair from gaps in tables, chairs, desks, sofas, keyboards, and more.

Roller Brush

A. The roller brush, designed for cleaning pet hair, is effective on surfaces such as clothes, sofas, and other fabric materials.
B. When using the roller brush, apply even pressure and move it back and forth over the surface needing cleaning for optimal results.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

How to Clean the Dust Cup
Handle the dust cup with care. After removing and emptying it, clean and allow it to dry fully before reinstallation to prevent water from entering the motor and causing electrical shock or damage to the machine.

1. Remove the dust cup
   Press the dust cup release button to detach the dust cup.

2. Emptying the dust cup
   Pull the latch to open the dust cup, empty the debris, twist off the filter, and clean it.

3. Install the dust cup
   Install the dust cup by aligning it with the slot and pushing to lock it on.

How to Clean the Electric Clipper

1. Remove the blade head
   Detach the blade by applying even force in the direction of the arrow as shown in the image.

2. Clean the electric clipper
   Use the accessory cleaning brush to clean the area around the electric clipper’s motor and the entire blade head.

How to Clean the HEPA Filter and Filter Sponge

• Regularly clean the HEPA filter, at least once every two months.
• Maintenance frequency may vary based on usage patterns and conditions. Regularly check the filter for dirt and clean as necessary.

1. Open the dust cup lid, remove the HEPA filter by turning it counter-clockwise, then peel off the mesh filter from the surface of the HEPA filter.
2. Remove the filter sponge located t the vent of the base.
3. Clean the HEPA filter, its mesh filter, and sponge with water. After washing, ensure to thoroughly drain all water from these components.
   Place the HEPA filter, its mesh filter, and sponge in a well-ventilated area to dry for at least 24 hours.
   Ensure that both the mesh filter and the filter sponge are completely dry before reinstalling them. Failure to do so could lead to malfunctions or pose a risk of electric shock.

TROUBLESHOOTING

The vacuum cleaner stops working and the body becomes hot after a period of use.| Overheat protection has been triggered.| Check if the vacuum hose is blocked. Allow the
vacuum to cool down for at least 30 minutes before using it again.
Weak suction.| Flexible hose is clogged.| Clean the flexible hose and suction mouth.
Dust cup is too full.| Empty the dust cup.
Filter is dirty.| Clean the filter.
Dust Cup or hose not aligned properly.| Check if the Dust Cup or hose is installed correctly.
Electric clipper are heating up during use.| The blade of the electric clipper is clogged due to pet hair blockage.
The blade is not sufficiently lubricated.| Remove, wash, and oil the blade.
Electric clipper is not running smoothly after a period of use.
The hose is broken.| Improper storage or potential pet damage.| Contact Akpu support for replacement parts.
Whistle-like noise when the machine is running.| Dust Cup or hose not aligned properly.| Check if the Dust Cup or hose is installed correctly.

WARRANTY AND SERVICE

Thank you for choosing the Akpu Pet Grooming Kit & Vacuum.
This product is covered by a 12-month warranty for product and labor from the date of its original purchase.

The warranty will not apply in the following cases:

1. Accidents, misuse, or repairs performed by unauthorized personnel.
2. Any unit that has been tampered with or used for commercial purposes.
3. Normal wear and tear of wearable parts.
4. Use of force or damage caused by external influences.
5. Damage caused by non-observance of the User Manual, e.g., connection to an unsuitable mains supply or non-compliance with the instructions.
6. Partially or completely dismantled appliances.
7. Defects caused by or resulting from damages from shipping or from repairs, service, or alterations to the product or any of its parts that have been performed by a repair person not authorized by Akpu.

We can only provide after-sales service for products that are sold by Akpu or Akpu authorized retailers and distributors. If you have purchased your unit from a different place, please contact your seller for return and warranty issues.
